Title: Paper Embossers
Post by: Angry Ewok on December 7, 2006, 08:08 AM
Can any of you direct me to a company in the US that makes custom paper embossers? I have a logo that I will be pressing into some upcoming (hopefully) lithograph prints and possibly even envelopes.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Model M made by Ideal.  I have the hand held, but there is a desk version as well.  Here are a few links:

Good luck, Brad!

Thanks, Deanpaul. I found a place called eRubberStamp that quoted me about $100 for a long-arm desk version with a custom logo with a 2 inch diameter - it sounds pretty good, mostly because the production time is two days and they can get it to me on Monday if I order tonight.

I have two seals that I'd like to have, so I think I'll try out the middle range that you have, in addition to this one from eRubberStamp.

I'm looking into finding a press that can make me nice grade lithograph prints, so that I can finally get serious about getting my art out there.

Cool, make sure you talk to them about calibration:

"PLEASE NOTE:   We calibrate our embossers to emboss
single sheets of  20 - 24 pound bond paper.
Please call 1-800-672-3020 if you require calibration for heavier stock
such as index, mylar, photo, lamination, etc."
