6" Black Series Store Finds and Recent Purchases

I picked up the whole new archive wave with the Shoretrooper, etc. at Walmart yesterday. They had four cases of that wave! I can’t remember the last time I saw a store get four cases of anything.

I still need most of the figures from the last archive wave, those have been hard to track down here.

I happened to be in a Best Buy over my lunch today and saw 2x Mace and Jar Jar, but no Battle Droid or Qui Gon. So they are out there, but I don't know what the case ratio is.

I stopped into two Best Buys over the last few weeks and haven't even seen a collectible section anymore.  Is anyone else's Best Buy like this?  They have TVs and Appliances and some phone stuff, but it's mostly just a place to pick up orders now.  Really disappointing - I didn't stop there a lot, but without cool gadgets or movies or collectibles, I have no reason to ever set foot in a Best Buy again.

Thanks for the tip, Dave!  That helped me save over $20.  And the estimated delivery date looked to be almost 2 months earlier than what Hasbro Pulse was advertising.

I preordered the new 5 figures from Dorkside. They do take longer to receive shipments, but they usually have everything in stock and take a while to pre-sell out, so for me it saves time.

I’m in a small town to get my Covid vaccine and decided to stop into the local Walmart. They had stuff in stock! Just the new Mando figures, Greef, Kuiil, and Gideon, but it’s more than what we have in the big city.

They did also have an Admiral Ackbar which I grabbed because I haven’t gotten that one yet.

Yeah, thanks for the tip about Target, I was scratching my head over the random $3 price increase everywhere else. Unfortunately by the time I got around to ordering Koska was already sold out, but I managed to pick up the other four without any problems.

When I was in an actual Target store earlier today I also picked up a Deluxe JarJar for $14.99

Finally found more of that first Archive wave and grabbed Han. Couldn't bring myself to rebuy Luke even though I rebought Thrawn for the updated face paint. My deluxe Boba Fett also came in the mail the other day.

After what felt like forever (seven months actually) I finally got my Dark Rey from Amazon.  Glad I can cross this one off my list.

I just saw that EE has pre-orders for Hasbro created Falcon and Winter Soldier figures from last Friday's episode that are for June delivery. 

Why can't we get this level of collaboration and pre-planning with Star Wars??

...and just got another email about Cal Kestis getting ready to ship from GameStop. Which is weird because I haven’t even gotten my Jump Troopers yet. I actually had to call them up and update my credit card so hopefully that all goes through smoothly.

I got the notifications about the GG Cal Kestis, too.  But in that case I also got shipping notifications.

Got sloppy seconds on the new wave at Walmart this morning…Tech, Q9-0, and General Lando were all they had left. Hopefully more stores will get them in soon and I will have a shot at the other two.

I got charged for two of the Gaming Greats by GameStop - the Imperial Flame Trooper and the Nightbrother Warrior.  But it seems like only the Flame Trooper has shipped.

I got the shipping notice for the Flametrooper too, when it rains it pours i guess. Deluxe Cal Kestis arrived today as well! Was sure my preorder had been cancelled so I am doubly excited for this one. Thank you GameStop!
