Title: Bit Late, but... KOTOR II announced.
Post by: Jesse James on May 12, 2004, 12:51 AM
Yeah, about a week late or so...

E3 took place this past week I believe, and Lucasarts made the announcement of Knights of the Old Republic 2: Sith Lords.

I'm just now playing KOTOR 1 all the way through on X-Box...  It's enjoyable, if not a tad slow, but I just can't devote enough time to it.

I'm almost dreading WANTING to play another KOTOR game I can't devote time to, haha. :)

I thought KOTOR was great. I am going to be getting the second one when it comes out.

In the first game the Dark Side ending is the best!

I know I'm bumping up an old topic, but I'm sure everyone has beaten this game multiple times and I thought it would be interesting to share some knowledge.

I know you can make characters Jedi, but the trick is finding out how:

I know you can make the handmaiden a jedi by sparring with her, but what about Mira, Bao Dur, Atton the Disciple or Hanharr?

I've never played dark or as a woman so I never had the Disciple or Hanharr in my party, but I'm curious if anyone else has and made them Jedi....as well as the others.

Bought it, never played it, would love to hear thoughts from anyone without major plot points (from this post forward) being revealed...  if possible, of course.  I don't wanna be debbie downer on the conversation either, just warn me if you can so I don't walk on a landmine, but I am curious on some of the "tricks" for this one.

I bought this used and just haven't ever played it.  Wanted to get KOTOR1 out of the way, and I just recently took a hiatus from it at the Malic battle due to time constraints.  ::)

There are similar characters archetypes in the mix.  The Ebon Hawk returns, as do a couple of other characters.  I think it's actually a darker storyline that follows up on where KOTOR left off, with a good deal of mystery about what happens in between.

I'm actually begining to wonder when we might see KOTOR III.  With The Force Unleashed dominating the LucasArts videogame release calender, it can't be coming out until at least the fall of '08 or later.

I'm cool with waiting a while for KOTOR III as long as they do not rush the game like they did with KOTOR II.  I liked playing it, but knowing some of the avenues they were taking thatwere just abruptly ended kinda sucks.
