Thanks for posting this.  I think I have the lighter eyes version.  Any idea which came first?  I typically try to get the earlier version if I can since there's a better chance of finding the second one later on.

Both have the same date stamp, and I've seen them packed equally in the same case.

I thought displays at Target were mandated by corporate.  I'm not sure if the current SW display is Hasbro driven or Target driven, but if it's coming from Hasbro I would think all stores need to have it up within a certain window of time.

I got mine from Amazon yesterday.  And interestingly enough, it came in a white Hasbro mailer box!  Very fitting for a set that's modeled on the original early bird mailaway set.

Found a "dark eyes" Vader set at TRU today in some display in the front of the store and had a $5 Rewards coupon, so I grabbed it. Pretty subtle difference really, but I kinda wanted one to keep boxed anyway so whateves.
