Title: VTAC Han Hoth with hood up!

Well, I was so mad Hasbro claimed that the hood up Han Hoth head wasn't approved by Lucasfilm (why?!) that I thought I could make a version for myself.  So I removed the head from a Saga brown coat Han, drilled a hole, trimmed down the collar a bit, and cut out the necktie from the hood down piece and glued it in place.  The goggles and cap brim are from the vintage version, cut to fit the new head and glued in place.  I wanted to make this version to put into a mini-scene on Hoth I made, part of which is in the last pic.

Nice. Now the question is are you going to make a black jacket for him or a dark blue one?

yes that is a great idea, ill have to try that.  the head i am guessing from from the Saga fig?  do the googles come off??

Thanks guys!  The mask is not removeable, but the head does swivel like the original head.  Phruby, did you mean the Bespin jacket colors?  I thought this Hoth coat color was pretty close to the actual?

You remember how Hasbro tried to sell us a Hoth Han with a black coat then they switched it to blue? They even had an advertisment about it.

This is an excellent custom and all, but THAT picture...THAT is just beautiful!!! Such a difference, its night and day.
