Dude, you scored!!!!  The best thing I ever got were some X-Men comics that a dude ruined by dousing himself, in the same closet with gas, and chumping it!  My buddies all got some to.  they were actualy high $ issues, that were totally ruined.  Of course we kept them for the story, but we always refered to them as "dead man comics".  What a waste!!!

hahahah, Hellsya.....

Ironiclly, I don't own one Danzig CD......and I can't figure out why.....other than I'm usually strapped for cash....What I need to do is invest ina CDR/RW......then I'd for sure never sleep as I'd be up for days burning music.......

There's so many CD's I want....... and some of my first downloads would be....DON'T laugh....Stryper albums. I only have two at this point.....but Stryper had some incredibly talented people......including Oz Foxx on lead....man that guy was a shredder........

I'm in the same poor ass leakin' boat with you.  I haven't bought a CD in YEARS!!!  Thank you Kazaa  CDR/RW and my buddys FTP site!!!  The only Danzig i didn't really dig, was "blackaciddevil".  he went over board with the electronica vox.  The think that I really like about him, is that he can ACTUALLY sing!!!  He's quite talented.

I can just picture him with some adamantium claws with a lok of bllod lust.  SNIKT!!!!  I remember talking with my comic book budies back in high school about a X-Men movie, and always imagined him.  On a side not, I would love to see Ben Kingsley play the Vulture in a Spider-man movie!!!

So any Danzig fans here.  This is one band that I keep going back to and have listened to for almost 15 years now!  IMO Glen Danzig would have made a far better Wolverine.  I met him some years ago at the San Diego Comic Con, when he was promoting his comic book.  He's really short, but built.  Just like Wolvie!!!  Plus he has a really good pissed off face!!!

I see you listed  "O Brother Where Art Thou".  That's a great one.  I'm a big Cohen brothers fan.  My favorite is the "Big Lebowski".  I'm working on getting all of their films.  Bravo has a really good special about them.

I've started selling alot of stuff on eBay recently.  What I was wondering is how long should you wait to receive a Money Order from overseas?  I have one order going to England and one to France.  It's been 2 weeks.  I sent an invoice reminder vie eBay the other day, but no responce from either buyer.  If they don't plan to pay, I want to leave negative feedback, and relist the items.  I don't want to do this, and receive payment shortly after.  What would y'all do?

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Favorite Band = Led Zeppelin
« on: June 3, 2003, 01:01 PM »
Damn Brad, you had to go and make me like you.  Not much, but at least enough to tolerate you and those furball things ;)

Zeppelin would be in and out of the top five for me.  Usually in.  I have all the CDs having parted with vinyl some time ago (well, the last 100 albums went last year including some Zep).

Favorite album would be I with Ramble On as a favorite song, but there really are so many.

Zeppelin was a huge favorite for me growing up.  For those who don't know me, I would have been about 15 when Bonham yakked himself to death.  We had tickets for the concert in Minneapolis and I was seriously pumped.  Going with a couple of buddies two years older than me.  Very, very sad day when he died.

For the other oldsters and probably only Bob and Dale can appreciate this (well, Bob might be too old ;)) but I vividly remember junior high (yep, 77-79) dances and the last song was almost always Stairway to Heaven.  The funniest part was some of the dances were done with the use of 8-track players (google it if you don't know, it's good for a laugh).  Of course 8-tracks in all their glory had uncerimonius switches in the program, four per tape, IIRC.  These would be represented by a large clunk-whirrr-clunk with the music dying at the start and then ramping up again.  That ALWAYS occurred during the part of the song where you basically got the nerve to get real close to the girl and maybe even put your hands on her back (*gasp*).  So there you are and the song is running...and she's buyyyyyyyying the Stairyway to heaven CLUNK... whrrrrrrrr....CLUNK...and the music starts up again.  I'm sorry I can't remember the exact passage in the song but it was pretty priceless, dramatic and mood ruining.  Shortly after the track switched the song sped up and everyone got confused as to whether it was a slow dance or a fast dance.  It was instructive to know whether the girl liked you or not. ;)
This has been bugging me for some time.  In the very begining of "Ramble On", before the guitars hit in.  What is that drumming sound???  Is he drumming on his thigh???  It sounds like sticks hitting on the leg of denim pants???
