You still have the spare set of 6, right, Justin? I might have to bite...

I have a spare Dignitary I'm holding for you, but ended up breaking up that last set.  All I have left of it is Vader, Antiles, and the Probe Droid.  Kinda funny - I thought I would be stuck with 1-2 extra R2s and they were the first the get scooped up.

Whoops, I told you should of waited  ;)

As for the probe droid my guess is Medicom had to make it as big as it is because something needs to fill those enormous boxes  ;D

There's a price war going on between rareak and meimei_625, there now down to $41.88.

I'm going to have to turn off those ebay alerts, it's just getting depressing now.

This seller was 10 available/2 sold, how do these HK guys get so many of a limited sold at a show in Japan.

I paid $53.99 for it last night from rareek and this morning I discovered that he is selling them for $47.88.

He messaged me to confirm my address and phone number before shipping and when I replied I pointed out the above and also asked if he'd be kind enough to refund the price difference, how do you like my chances?  ;D

I suppose that's the cost of impatience.

edit: that was quick, he replied that once I recieve TC-14 he'll refund the difference.

That sucks.

Thanks for being the guinea pig though.

Why would HLJ isolate the box containing the chase from the master case when they only sell sealed boxes? It's all the same to them.

Since people are getting their boxes/cases soon if anyone wants to offload some singles PM me and let me know.

I only want R2 and Leia (both would be preferable to save on shipping) and you can keep the probe droid part. Shipping is to Australia.

Instinctoy finally got the other chase in their cases.  They are now referring to the R2-Q5 as a 1/96 figure.  Hopefully this one doesn't end up at 20,000 yen like the other chase did...

http://page17.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v224547174

I noticed that yesterday. They also updated the Imperial as also being 1/96. No surprise really.

And that prices me out of that chase. I'd rather get the Series 6 Veers at half the price.

Uninspired before the chases were known, IMO.  And yes, I'm still sour about the AT-ST driver.

Word  ;D

Confirmation of only two legs via Yahoo Japan.

Buy in now for 24,800 Yen who's up for it!  ;)

It's probably wishful thinking on my part and you're most likely right.

Re-reading the instinct toy blog post (translated to English) it sounds like for DX4 instinctoys only got one master case this time round. The set of sixes, background and spares went up on the store and the chase went up on yahoo auctions.

If they only got one master case it would be hard to differentiate between a 1/48 or 1/96 chase.

I also find it curious that the ratios of the basic kubricks has not yet been listed.

This ebay auction is using the images from instinctoys blog so it could be surmised the 1/48 info has also been lifted from there.

So if indeed this is misinformation how is this corrected? Does any individual get master cases anymore let alone multiples?

Bespin and Endor next. Where and where do they usually release the new updates for the next 2 series?

The next Medicom Toy Exhibition around July/August is you're best bet, but even then it will just be a preview not an announcement of when they'll actually arrive.

Thanks for that DSJ, I posted it over at kubricknation as confirmation of Sir Real's HK intel.

Wow, a lot of hate for the Astromech. Personally I'm thrilled when the chases are undesirable repaints, no one wants a repeat of the AT-ST Driver or Hammerhead, but I can empathise with you.

If the Imperial is packed 1/48, does any one think he'll go for the same price of Jar Jar which is the last time I remember a chase packed at that ratio? After things settled he could be bought for as low as $50, or based on the last few series am I dreaming?

Nah, don't be concerned. It's been that way for months.

HLJ has a set number of pre-orders and once that allocation is sold out they put up that order stop. Pretty standard for them, it's just that SW stuff attracts more demand.

To me he'll be the rude E-3PO, who insulted C-3PO on Cloud City. ("E chu ta!")       :)

Yes. This.

I was also watching the carded Indy but, lucky for you I Am Sith, decided not to bid. You could have paid more. Now that's two you owe me  ;)

But it's nice to see someone here win them and also get a great deal.

Regarding the carded Indy this one with a watch popped up in the UK a few days before the one I Am Sith won so it didn't sell because I'm sure the cheaper one got the more attention. But I was surprised to see two pop up with in a week when normally they're so rarely seen.

Did you you pick up the one on ebay a few days ago for approximately $80? I saw that and thought that was a good buy.

How much did you end up paying? I have one i need to unload.

Adrian, I sent you a PM regarding this a couple of days ago. I'm just making you aware of this in case you missed it.

I paid €60 shipped. It was just for the book though. The slipcase and the three little be@rbricks weren't included. I was happy with the price as it seems to be a difficult enough item to come by.

Just to rub salt into the wounds; two or three weeks back there was one on yahoo auctions like yours, no sleeve or be@rbricks, just the book and it went for 500 yen. Yes 500 I didn't forget a zero. I put a bid on using Celga but they f**ked it up and didn't bid the right amount. I wasn't a happy camper.
