I saw this over at RS, an thought I'd bring the news over here.
Cartoon Network.com has this "orbit" website where you can play games and collect cards with points.
You can get some Star Wars Clone Wars cards when you sign up and give the following passcodes: (Passcodes given with card you recieve)
Padawan - Anakin Skywalker cToon card
Sith Lord - Count Dooku cToon card
Dark Jedi - Asajj Ventress cToon card
Droids - C-3PO/R2-D2 cToon card
General - Obi Wan Kenobi cToon card
High Council - Anakin/Yoda/Obi Wan/Mace Windu cToon card
Jedi Master - Yoda cToon card
Leader - Mace Windu cToon card
This deal expires March 8th.
So, has anybody else gotten any of these?
-
are the cards actually good for anything, like redeeming points for free stuff at the site, or are they just there? with no purpose?
-
No, they're just there. They're kind of like virtual trading cards. You can either keep them, trade them, or "auction" them for Orbit points.
-
and then you can use the "orbit points" to get free stuff?
-
Free stuff online. Free stuff that you never actually touch. Free stuff that satys inside of your computer and never comes out.

It's cool to have but then if whoever is funding the Ctoon cards ends their contract, the ctoons are taken off the CN website.
