Thanks for the link Matt - that is alot of information.

If I decide to do the diorama I will go vintage. Slowly...Rancor = yes.

As far as the arena diorama, I added some more stuff, and will get a decent picture up soon.

I agree with most folks, if I am going to take the time to track down vintage figures, I want to give them there vintage counterparts.

Just the thought of having all vintage is more appealing to me.

Mile High Comics confirmed this for me. It is referred to the Whittman run and had a 35 cent cover instead of at 30 cent cover.

They were sent straight to shops in 1977. I just purchased issues 1-3 bagged. I am thrilled.

Also, won an auction for issues 1-3 (35 cent cover) sealed in a bag from 1977. These are referred to as the Whittman reprints. All 3 for $12.50 shipped!

Some say they are harder to find then to original 30 cent cover issue.

By the way I received the 30 cent cover in wonderful condition! Looks like it just came off the racks. Take care all.
