Good figure - alas, he's out!  ;D

However, Hasbro SHOULD limit IMMG quantities ... I still have that itching feeling he'll be a pegwarmer. Maybe not a YARNA, but not an instant seller for some people, either...

I'll be surprised to see anything as a pegwarmer the way figs have been shipping lately.

The more I look at those pics, the harder I find it to believe that Jabba will only be two pieces.  There is a clear split along the torso between his head and his body and that combined piece seems too massive to fit in a box.  I still think it's either a 7pc set or the rail piece comes with the tail.

Here's another idea - what if the BAF pieces are randomly packed?  You might have a couple Jabba'sin a box of 12 or maybe you'll have 12 Jabba tails.  I'm guessing you'll at least be able to build Jabba with a box, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see random bonus parts.

Brent - it's Medicom.  Of course there will be chases.   ;)

Well, at least we'll know for sure in another short 8-9 months.   :P

Question for Adam if he has both the TAC versions of the figs and the new boxed sets.  When you compare them side by side, does it look like to you the paints apps are slight variations?

What I noticed when I saw these at TRU was that some of the figures looked darker/dirtier (Snow Trooper, Fett, Stormtrooper), and a lot of the rebel figures looked as if their paints apps were a touch lighter.

From what I've read, there are some paint app differences as well.

Oh stop it.  I am not going to buy them!  Probably.

I know I had one out on him. . .pretty sure SI beat me by one spot.

Me too. Nice to know that I was several people away from getting him.   ;)

Rob - if it's any consolation, I saw an brief yesterday explaining that Wells only got a bunch of first half carries because Hightower fumbled.  KW liked the way he was running, so he played most of the second half as well.  However, Hightower remains the starter.  I think coaches often use these opportunities to send a message to both players and hopefully get better play out both.

As for Westbrook, he has had great stats over the years, which is why I just couldn't let him go past me in the third round.  When he does play and is at full strength, he has a chance to be RB of the week.  That said, the stats are deceiving as he left some of those games he played in the past few years and was questionable prior to playing in others. The stats will show that he played Week #7 this year too.

A month's hardly a long time to wait between waves.  one wave a month is actually a pretty steady pace.

Amen.  I just got done picking up 50-some-odd CW figures the past few months.  A month or so off is a nice break! I do share McMetal's eagerness to get the mail away going on this though - Nahdar may be one of my top 5 CW figures thus far.

Hmmn...that's a really interesting thought.  Just 6 Jabba pieces in a box along with 6 figures and maybe one of the 6 figures is a chase?  Ugh.   :P

I've seen the rancor swap out too. I've been told by employees at Target that some managers will put those types of things back out on the shelf regardless. Ignorance is bliss type of thing.

Well, I guess for kids they would still get a rancor.   :P  That makes it ever so slightly better than returning a brick.   >:(

Can anyone clarify the waiver wire process for me?  I thought it was set to a rolling list based on prior pick-ups, such that whoever had the latest pick moved to the end of the list.  For example, Caprica and SI just picked up players and are now #11 and #12.  But SI just picked up the Dallas Defense yesterday, so why did he stay at the top claim position after that?  Ruiner picked up J. Charles yesterday as well, but he's listed as #2 for claims priority.  Are waiver players treated differently from Free Agents?

Poor Westy.  I have him another league and had much higher hopes for him this year.

Rob's fantasy football rule #18:  Never, ever, ever draft Brian Westbrook.  He misses significant time every single year.

I'm normally right with you, but when he slipped to the end of the 3rd round I couldn't pass on him.  I fully intended to get McCoy just in case, but he went 6th round, which is way earlier than I wanted.  I ended up with Jacobs, R. Brown, Westbrook, and K. Smith, so I still have 3 okay backs to use for now.   :-\

Just out of curiosity - is this based on someone just looking in the package or someone actually opening a set?

Is there a chance that the remaining accessories were put in a baggie off to the side where they can't be seen instead of them taking the time to have the accessories fit into slots in the tray with all of the figures?

Nope, he opened the sets and there were no extra accessories.

Wow, that stinks.  I'm not getting the sets anyway, but I feel bad for those that were going to get these in place of the carded editions.  Does make me feel better about the higher prices I paid for these individually though.

Ugh.  Is that the POTF2 Rancor on the right?  That's weak.  I suppose it came with the POTF2 Luke as well?   >:(

Dressel confessed to having dreams about me.

In all fairness, this started long before we started playing fantasy football together.

But now I'm dreaming of 5 wins in my next 6 games.  The next game looks particularly good with Randy Moss on bye and Westbrook still being scraped off the field with a spatula.

Poor Westy.  I have him another league and had much higher hopes for him this year.   :(  On the bright side (if there is one), the Eagles are entering the tough part of their schedule, so he might not have done all that well anyway.  I know, replacing a RB is nearly impossible in a 12-team league, but maybe those of us with Westbrook will actually be better off starting someone else for a few weeks.

Not sure how long pics will be up, but it looks like that rumored DCUC 13 lineup is likely true.  Pics at the Fwoosh (and elsewhere).

Hmmn...I couldn't access it.  I did find this list though.  Couple of good figs that I'd buy:

-Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes)
-Blue Devil
-Cheetah (both Modern & Classic Versions)
-Cyclotron
-Donna Troy
-Negative Man (with Black Variant)
-SuperBoy
-Trigon (Collect & Connect Figure)

Found them over here as well...

I'd get Cheetah 2 and maybe Superboy.  Would love to get Trigon too, but as the BAF I'd have to pass.

If anyone happens across an extra Ugnaught v2 and doesn't mind picking him up and sending him my way, I'd appreciate it.  Maybe he won't be a big deal, but I haven't seen one yet and don't want to miss out.

Our MN group may have a spare for you if you can't find this soon.  My spare is spoken for, but I know a few of the other guys have picked up extras this last week.
