Episode 3 is very top 10 worthy.. However, JP beaten by Titanic? LOTR? That's what I don't get.

Ehhh, he doesn't ruin the movie at all or anything, but by the end he is kind of annoying. He's not that bad IMO though.

I'm also wondering what they'll do with this. I'm hoping to see some of Vader, some of Yoda, C3, R2, and some new characters. Maybe in one of the episodes learn how Chewie and Han meet.

This would be interesting. I look forward to getting the DVD even more now. I agree that it does read well, and would be neat to have Qui-Gon lend his voice to the movie. And its not like it would be really long and stretch the film out.

Although Shrek is good, JP is MUCH better. I also don't get how Shrek beat JP. I also don't understand how LOTR beat it.

Back in the TPM release days, there was an interview with Lucas (or it was Williams, dammit, I don't know) about Duel of the Fates and the Phantom Menace music in general, and there was mention of some piece of music Williams wrote that got omitted, with Lucas commenting that it was "too dark, but beautiful" and that he wanted to stash it away from Ep3.
I've always wondered about that comment years ago. Maybe DoctorPadawan remembers?
I'm hoping we'll hear something that shares a lot in common with DotF but an undertone more along the lines of the ROTJ Final Duel chorus.

I loved ROTJ.
I think that it will be answered well in Episode 3. But possibly he needs Sidious to help him convert Luke to the Dark side, then they can over throw Vader, and that's why Vader saved Sidious from Luke's swing at him.
