Jedi Council sets 3 & 4

I'd buy them just for the base at that price, but the fodder's great too.
Shame those later sets were so poor compared to the originals. There are some actually really great figures in those first two 3-packs for the Council. Yarael Poof and Oppo still rank as 2 of my favorite Jedi figures.

I have to agree with Jesse that Yarael Poof and Oppo are great figures that came out of the first two sets. I have never purchased the last 2, waiting for that frozen day in hell when TRU marks them down to a reasonable price.

i picked up the last 2 sets in august at tru for $9.99 each. i was tempted to grad 2 more just for jedi fooder but didn't. i wish the first sets where hanging around like these, i missed out on those!

With the Star Wars "break" coming up here until July (although there's still plenty of stuff to track down), I've kind of started looking at some holes in my collection of things I had to skip when they were originally released. I always regretted that I couldn't pick up the rest of these Jedi Council sets when they were released (I got the first two, in the Saga packaging), and was hoping to someday grab them just to have the bases/chairs so I could "complete the circle". I think it would be a neat idea to somehow re-release the entire circle with some of the upgraded Jedi in a pack of some sort, but I'm guessing I'd be in the minority there. For the heck of it, I clicked on the link Jeff posted to Amazon a few years ago - and the price for one of the sets was $99.95 (through a different company). Yikes. I should have grabbed these when they were clearanced out, but just didn't have the funds at the time. Do many of you have a big council display with all the sets together? That was one of my favorite things about the prequels, it was kind of cool to see the Jedi Council.
