Title: ROTS Burger King Promos

What the hell is a boga?  And chase Happy Meal Toys (or whatever BK calls them)?  Wow, they're really stretching this collectible thing. 

I'm not going to go out of the way to get all of these, but may pick some up if I eat at BK (which may not be all that much now since I got a Veggieburger instead of a bacon double cheeseburger  >:()

I found that funny. Sorry to hear about your Burger misfortune. I've loved BK's promotions since they did The Lost World Jurassic Park Watches. I can't wait.

Very slooooooooooow connection today, so didn't see the RS pics, but undoubtedly I'll pick a few up.  Fortunately up here you can just outright buy the toys, sometimes you have to buy food or a drink, but not always.  BK Kids Meals is the officious name up here.  

The pull backs look pretty neat.

Wind ups are meh, ok.  Can easily pass on Watto and Amidala, maybe Grievous (I may be the only one, but he does very little for me).

Squirters are also meh, Boba, emperor, maybe Jabba.  Jar Jar (aka spawn of ewok) only to melt or shoot at.

Plush doesn't do a thing for me, but the kid will undoubtedly want them.  She'll probably love the frickin' Ewok, showing George that yes, the target audience is four to five years old ::)

Image viewers look pretty boring too.  Maul, Luke, maybe Mace.

Oh look, a chase piece.  Great, just ******* great.  Hmm, Walmart employees hoard chase figures to sell on ebay, I can't imagine Burger King employees doing the same ::)

I wonder if they'll offer up complete mail away sets like they did for their LOTR toys?

This may have been covered already in the thread, but has there been an exact date set for Burger King's promotion, or has there been anything exact released as to what they are going to be doing?  The flyer on "that other site" late last year disappeared before I had a chance to see it, and I didn't know if I should be on the lookout or not.

The Kelloggs stuff is still just trickling out in my neck of the woods.  There was a whole case of the Lava Pop Tarts in front of one of the local WMs, but I'm sticking to my frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts with sprinkles, thank you very much.  I'm thinking of  :o going back on my statement in another thread somewhere and picking up a box of Froot Loops to get a saber spoon, but if I don't find one, I won't be all torn up about it.

The one thing I do want out of the food promotions this time around is the plush M-Peror.  Keep in mind that I still have a dancing Jar Jar, opened and "batteried up", so that should tell you that I tend to like the sillier stuff when it comes to non-action figure related SW merchandise. :)

I'm looking forward to the Burger King promotion, but I'm really hoping there is some way to just "buy the set" or something.  We're not really big fast food eaters anyways, and I definitely don't think I could eat there 20-30 times or whatever it would take to get all of the collectibles.  We'll see how that goes.  I'm becoming sucked into the M and M promotion as well.  I guess its ok, because I do like me some M&Ms, but I don't need quite that many.  So far I've picked up and kept the packages featuring Han and Chewie, and thought about trying to get the complete, normal sized, package set.  Looking at the checklist, it looks like characters start to get repeated on the packaging...with minor variations on the quotes and/or pictures, so although I think there are like 72 different packages, I might just try to get one each of the characters featured, if I go any further with it.  From what I have seen, these are the characters featured, on various packages:

Anakin Skywalker
C-3PO
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Han Solo
Queen Amidala
Mace Windu
Luke Skywalker
Chewbacca
Princess Leia
Darth Vader
the Emperor

I also got my final UPC code for the Star Wars cookie jar offer.  I'm trying to figure out which one to get, or to try to get all three.  Not that we have anywhere to put them anyways :).  Also still hoping to get the other saber spoons, have the red one so far.  There are some other items that look neat as well, like that R2 cereal bowl thingy, and the Anakin/Vader "FX" plate.  I feel like a kid trying to get some of these food products/promos, but they are kind of fun.

Good to know Brent.  I don't mind eating there once in awhile either, and actually do enjoy their food for the most part...although it has been awhile since I've had it now....but I just didn't want to have to eat basically solid for a month if I tried to get all of these things.  I'm surprised more details haven't shown up yet regarding this promotion, its been pretty quiet since we first saw the layout months ago.  Isn't it supposed to start like the Monday before the movie or something, I thought I read that somewhere.

I don't recall the start date, but I was thinking the same about the start time for the promotion.  It's actually key to my hopes for a lot of promotions.  Canada is dragging it's backside with respect to promotional items for the most part, so part of me still hopes to see the BK promotion and possibly some of the other promos as well. 

About the only thing that's shown so far that I've found is the M&M packaging.  I've only seen the large packages (my wife bought one for me - Luke) but my wife has apparently seen the smaller packages too.  No dark chocolate though and I love dark chocolate and have been really looking foward to trying the dark M&M's. 

I reckon I should gain about 30 pounds next week in Indy. :-\

Galactic Hunter (http://www.galactichunter.com/absolutenm/templates/full_article_template_1.asp?articleid=4386&zoneid=2) has some information, as well as a big ole group picture, up covering the upcoming Burger King toys.  It sounds like you will get 2 in an adult's meal, and 1 in a kid's meal.  I'm still hoping you can just purchase the whole set somehow, because for some reason, I like these :).

Well, the Burger King promotion supposedly starts today, according to this article (http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/promo/news20050510b.html) at the Official Site.  31 Toys in all I believe, with a "wave" released every week for six weeks or so.  At least that is how I understand it.  Is anyone else going to try to collect these?  For some reason, these toys kind of appeal to me, and I'd like to get a whole set....but it might be tough because I'm not really a big fast food eater.  To go from nothing to eating there every day to get those toys, might be a bit extreme.  Maybe wait for a set to show up on ebay or something, or if they somehow offered them individually without the food.  Anyways, is anyone else going to be trying to get the whole batch of figures...or have you found them already?

Well, here's my BK story, I'll call it BK-I'll have it MY way...thank you.


Called about 10:40, there's one 10 min. from me.
Asked if they had the Vader, The girl stated "there's only one per case and he's gone as of this morning.  Bingo, all I needed to hear. Went down immediately, and asked the Manager the same thing, same response by the girl who I talked to on the phone a few min. before, so, I pulled out the sheet showing that there were 5 per case not one- so I said "According to your story that means there's 4 more Vaders in there right?"  long pause, they look at each other, then the manger says "Well, that means we'd have to dig through the entire case and we just can't do that for every customer"  I said, funny that kid in front of me just had that lady over there dig through the case for a Luke Skywalker figure" aniother long uncomfortable pause, knew I had them....

WEll, long story short I finally got the Vader, just should n;t have to be this difficult.


Then I hear a few things, the manager and the employees are all grumbling "I knew everyone would want this Vader, this is going to be a problem".  We can't go digging through the case everytime someone wants a figure, just give them any and they'll have to take it.  Then 3 or 4 of them were trying to figure out what the actual promotion was, wether or not it was 1 per meal, 2 per meal, $1.26 per figure or per every 2 figures.

What a mess.  How hard it is to find ANY help let alone good help these days.

Well that is interesting, since everyone is saying that the Vader is only one per case.  Is the sheet listing the number of Vaders on the website? 

As for these items from BK, yeah, I'll probably try for them.  They're supposed to start here too, but none in the town I work in.

No luck with Vader here either. At one of the BK's, the "just opened" case that they brought out as soon as BK opened seemed to be mysteriously devoid of Vader figures. "Well, we just opened it". Really? Do you know why there aren't any Darth Vader figures? "Well, I dont know, maybe we didnt get any".

Thought about checking out our closest BK after work today, but we'll have to see.  Part of me is considering just trying to pick up the whole lot on ebay, instead of having to go in there each week and ask to rifle through their boxes.  Plus, I don't think I could ever eat enough fast food to get all of the toys.

Completely mixed messages and pricing all over the place.  Depends on the particular BK what you can get away with.  I got a kids meal and was resoundingly reminded that I neither need nor like the food there :-X

Ebay it will be, if at all. 

FUnny thing is I really thought they looked cool at C3, today in the display they looked kinda crappy.  Of course no Vader in the display, those all went this morning ::)  Not worth the time and effort.

I got the run around at a few BK's.  Two different BK's only had 1 figure and that was it....and they don't tell you that until after you've bought your kids meal (legit) and bought the value jedi meal to purchase two additional toys.  Like I really wanted 3 Jabbas ::)...thanks BK. Another BK asked me which two I wanted and after I told them..they said sorry, we can'tgo thru the bags and pick them out.  So I said I would...(which they wouldn't let me do)...so what was the point of asking me again which two I wanted??  The best I could do was sweat talk one of the young female cashiers to grab one for me later on as she came across a Vader.  She said if I came back on Friday when she works again, she'd have one set aside for me....I have a feeling I won't be getting DV this Friday :-[  End result for the day..$13 spent, the dog ate alot of fries and I got 3 Jabbas and 3 Bespin Lukes.....eBay is looking really good about now!

I bit the bullet and ordered a set on ebay.  Cheaper than buying a meal for each toy plus fast food does not agree with me and I get sick 80% of time.   From a health standpoint I did the right thing.  Granted I could of bought the meals and tossed the food, but why bother.

I'm really leaning towards going the ebay route as well.  I haven't visited BK yet (wasn't feeling well yesterday the way it was), but thought about going today....but now, the more I think about it, the more I know that I don't want to eat that much fast food to get these toys.  I'd like to get a set, and I could (hopefully) find one just as cheap online...without all the artery clogging food :).  Now its time to figure out what is a decent price to pay for a set, how much do the actual toys cost you at BK?  I've heard anywhere from $0.58 to $1.50ish, depending on if you buy a meal.

I was able to purchase all 5 plus the Vader for .99.  Going at off peak hours seems to net better customer service.

The ebay logic to me was the fact I dont care for fast food and did not want to deal with trying to track down every item.  I put a price in my head that I was willing to pay $2 for each piece.

Well, I said I wasn`t gonna buy these at BK, just hit eBay, but I was jonesin for
a shake today. I got a shake and a fry and 2 toys. After I paid, the manager told
the cashier that from now on, you had to buy a meal to get the figs.
Oh well, got me a Jabba and a Falcon. I will probably just hit eBay for the rest, but
I also have my scouts out there who go to BK a lot, and don`t care for SW in the least  ;)

How are you today?  Yesterday, began the start of the Star Wars Epic Collection at Burger King.  This collection covers all six Star Wars movies with a total of 31 Super-D toys.  I wanted to know if other JediDefender Forum Members would be interested in helping each other out with this collection. 

By my home, the Luke Skywalker, Millenium Falcon, Han Solo, Jabba the Hutt, and Wicket are available.  Still on the search for the Darth Vader.  If anyone is interested in trading please send either a PM

What sucks is BIN prices for complete sets were not too bad a couple days ago.  Now they are double the price.  I preordered from a seller who specializes in Fast Food pack ins.  He had over a 2500 rating and feedback of 99.9.  Hopefully they come through for me.

Ok well I just got back from my journey to another Burger King. I went up and asked to see which toys they had. She came back with the 5 i already have. I asked if she had Darth Vader. She looked at me confused, I tried to explain the one in the middle of the picture in the window, that didnt work either. So finally i was like the black one. Her face shone liek she understood. After a few min. she came back with Darth Vader. Through broken english and mostly spanish, she explained to me this was the only one they had becuase it was one per case. She didnt know why it was one per case and said they will probably get more later. SO basically she really had no idea it was a chase figure. The only thing is, maybe it really is one per case and not five. She didnt seem liek the type to scam me, although who knows if the manager got in there to took the others.

Last night I hit a BK and got Vader and Jabba with the adult meal (an additional $1.29, added to any value meal, for two figures).

The advantage to going at 9:30 at night was that the kid actually asked me which ones I wanted and rifled through the box for me. I was going to get Wicket and Jabba then he said, "We have Darth Vader too," so I got him and Jabba.

Vader is so cuuuuuute! I was sitting in the booth fiddling with his stubby arms and grinning like a total idiot. ;D

Plus I won a few free food items from the scratch-off game pieces.

Went back today. The cashier just grabbed two at random: Wicket and Carbonite Han. I was OK with both of these so I didn't ask her to look for specific ones.

I don't think I will go for all 31 though.

Yesterday I got a kids meal with Luke in it.  Today, I got a kids meal with Han in it -- and after I ordered, I noticed the sign that you can get two toys for $1.29 with the purchase of an adult value meal.

My husband bought a value meal last night, but I guess he didn't see the sign or they didn't have it up yet, because he didn't bring me any toys.  I haven't asked for Vader, because I wasn't sure how difficult he was going to be.  I think by tomorrow, though, the employees oughta recognize me when I stop by for lunch, so I'll ask and see what I can get.  I gotta call hubby at work and tell him to pick up toys with his dinner (we're working different shifts these days). 

I guess I got lucky with the cereal -- the first three boxes I opened with spoons in them had the three different colors in them.  Now I'm just waiting to have some money in the bank to send off for all the order-with-proofs stuff.

I haven't seen the Pepsi Yoda at Wal-mart, which is about the only place I've been.  I must say, I'm kind of glad they don't have the collect-all-24 can promotion this time.  I'm gaining enough weight from eating M&Ms, Chips, and Keebler cookies.

Jeff -- you are so lucky to get those grocery store displays.  Way to go!

Thanks for the BK checklist, JesseVader; I'd been thinking I needed to put one together for myself.  At least, though, there's not three different chains involved this time.  I had a really hard time keeping all the toys straight for Phantom Menace.

My wife and I had yesterday afternoon off from work to run a few errands, and I had mentioned the Bk promotion to her, so she said "let's go eat there".  We rarely eat fast food at all, and I don't think we had been to BK in a year or two, so we decided to check it out.  We both got adult value meals (and made them Jedi value meals), so we each got two "toys" with our meals.  I don't know if I was the first to ask about them or what, but the lady working brought up a brand new box (case), cut it open, and revealed the five different "bags o' figures" inside, and basically just told me to pick the ones I wanted.  I got to open the bags up and take whatever I wanted.  I just grabbed a Han, Luke, Jabba, and Falcon.  Then we won a free chocolate shake on one of our scratch tickets, so I went to redeem that and asked if they sold them individually.  She said, 99 cents each, limit of two per day, so I told her I wanted to buy two.  She brought the box out again and said to go ahead and pick out what i wanted.  I went for the Wicket bag, thinking that if the rumor of 1 Vader per bag was true, he'd be the easiest to "feel" in that one. Sure enough, found one quickly, and also picket up the Wicket, so I have the complete set for the first week.  I was pretty happy to get the Vader, didn't really plan on it.

I really like these, they are neat little toys.  I guess I like the idea of the complete set, because it has a nice entire Saga feel to it, intermixing the OT and PT together nicely.  I don't think I can stand going in there each week for adult value meals though, so I might attempt to buy other waves via ebay if possible.  I think I saw some people selling them wave by wave, so I might go that route.  6 down, 25 to go :).

The BK Jabba actually fits in with the Galactic Heroes reasonably well.  I guess if Hasbro never makes one in the GH line we at least have a reasonable substitute :).  Hopefully the pic shows up ok, not the clearest I know.(http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/users/4257a815za877966d/c464/__sr_/fd36.jpg?ph1NQhCBOiRcfbUL)

Hello,

My wife and I got back from BK, and I scored TWO Darth Vaders! ;D  The guy was real nice he gave me the box to look through I grabbed the Falcon and the guy asks me if I want Darth Vader.  Of course I say yes and he goes to the back and brings me one, then my lovely wife asks for one too and he goes back to the back and brings another. 

The Vaders are indeed 5 in one box.  In one box there are 5 different bags of toys (plush, wind-up, pull-backs, squirters, and image viewers) and in each bag there is 1 Darth Vader.

So it seems someone at BK opened all the bags and pulled out the Darth Vaders.  I'm going back next Thursday because thats the day the guy said they expect another shipment.  If I come across another Vader I'll let you guys know.

Someone check my math here:

Vader ratio is 5/200.

Each week there are 5 toys not including Vader.

Taking away Vader, the ratio of each toy is 39/200. 

Toys are available for only a single week each (barring any carry over of stock). 

Each week, Vader remains available at the same ratio.

The promotion runs for six weeks (30 toys; 5 per week).

Vader is available for all six weeks. 

5 Vader x 6 weeks = overall ratio of 30/200 (if all the Vaders were released in a single week). 



Now, unless my math is wrong, and it could easily be, Vader really isn't that tough and anyone crazy enough to pay much above retail really is crazy.

I'll do some math:

a chase vader that's ONLY 5 per week(yes thats only 5 per WEEK at any location during a national promotion!)
+ add to that it's only costs a buck
+ add to that he's one of the more popular characters of SW
+ add to that the fact that most employees grab them before anyone else can
+ add to that if you want a complete set, guess what? you'll need him

 = scalper heaven on ebay. ;^)

Heck some of the guys can't find the normal ration figures let alone Vader.  Sheesh.

My math could be wrong too but should your overall ratio be 30/1,200?? you multiplied the 5 by 6 weeks but not the 200 by 6 weeks.

You've got a point here, but we both missed something.

It is 30 out of 1200 for the Vader

BUT....

It would be only 39 out of 1200 for each of the others because they're only available in a single week, whereas Vader is available for every week of the promotion. 

All I'm saying is the ratio is nearly the same.  Most certainly the Vaders will be harder to find.  I'm just supposing that after a couple of weeks it won't quite be the same level of difficulty.

I may have missed this but what does the Vader do?  I now it is limited but what is all the fuzz about?  I thought these were just kids toys like from the happy meal but offered with any purchase.  Am I wrong?

I read in Sandtroopers.com that some guy got in an argument with the manager b/c he wanted to sell the Vader for $20 and the cops that were there had to intervine.  There are some crazy ****ers on ebay paying more than $20 for a crappy fast food promo.  Don't they know that they are feeding the scalper problem big time by doing this.

Does the Vader do something special that is worth all the attention or $20?  Or is it that some people will buy anything that is Star Wars related even if it is a dog turd painted to look like a wookie turd?

Ran to the closest BK after lunch (didn't want to eat there), to see if I could pick up all or some of the Week 2 offerings, but no dice.  I got the whole first wave (plus Vader) there last week, no problems, but now they say you can't buy them individually (they sold them for 99 cents each, limit of 2 per day last week), only with the value meals.  Sorry, but I just can't stomach (no pun intended) that much BK food each week.  To ebay I go.  Hopefully it won't be too pricey to pick up the week by week waves, maybe having the Vader already will help some.

How hard is it to run a promo like this? I went to 1 BK today - and they had week 1 toys. Apparently, they gave out week 2 last week  ::)

So I went to another BK in town, and they had week 3 toys... they gave out both week 1 and 2 last week  ::)

So now what am I supposed to do? I guess the good news is that I don't need to eat any BK next week.

With all these food promos (BK, Kelloggs, Keebler, M&M's, etc.) Lucas should partner up with a local gym so I can work off some of the pounds I'm putting on just so I can get all these figure, posters, banks, cookie jars, saber spoons... and everything else I'm buying all this crap to get.

They put out week 2 locally yesterday and like a dummy, I figured I'd be safe to just go pick them up today.  Got 4 out of 5 (no Chewbacca) so I'll have to wait until this is all done and see what I can snag off of Ebay.

Since this promotion started, I've stopped by Burger King three times now.  The first week, my wife and I went there to actually eat (mainly to get the toys, but we each got a meal), so we got a "Jedi Meal" and each got two toys with our purchase.  They just let me pick the toys right out of the box, open the bags and everything and I picked up Han, Luke, Jabba, and the Falcon.  After eating, I thought I'd ask them if they sold them individually as well.  The worker said "yes, for 99 cents, but limit of two per day".  Fine, not too bad, so I buy two and find a Vader and pick up a Wicket as well.  All set for week one.

Thinking that I could buy two each day, I went in on Wednesday to see if they had the new wave.  I asked if I could purchase some of their Star Wars toys, and the worker then went to her manager and came back and told me that "since these are a promotion, we will only sell them with the "Jedi Meal", we can't sell them individually".  I said ok, thanks and was on my way, figuring I would go to ebay for the rest.  Then yesterday, after we went to a 1 p.m. showing of ROTS, I stopped off at this same BK again, just to see if it made a difference who was working.  I asked again if they sold the toys seperately, and they said sure...99 cents each, how many do you want?  They brought a cardboard box lid up with an assortment of what they had, and I picked up a Chewie, Darth Maul, R2, and the X-Wing (they didn't have Yoda...drat).  BK seems to be quite inconsistent with these, but hopefully they will continue selling them seperately....I don't want the food really :P.  I was happy to get most of the Week 2 offerings, but it is a little frustrating being 1 short ;).

I got some yesterday but they would not sell them at all.  I could only get them with a happy meal or magic chest as they call it here.  Si I went to a few other BKs and that was the policy.  So I went back with my two nieces and ate there.  I got the plushy Boga and General Grevious.

Thanks...I was glad to find it too.  I didn't want to have to go to ebay to pick up one individually, where if I found it locally I could get it for 99 cents.  I was looking at the toys I've picked up so far last night, and really, to me these aren't too bad of little toys for a buck each.  I'd still rather BK would sell the entire sets of them, instead of having to stop in each week trying to find them, but it is a fun little collection overall I think.  The Yoda "flipping" action works pretty nicely :P.

Got lucky today. A local BK was clearing out the last of weeks 1 and 2, and I got the last ones I needed, so I'm only down Chewie and Vader.  Not bad.

I have an extra Han and Jabba, but if I can't trade them off, I know some kids who would love to have them.  :)

I stopped in at BK yesterday hoping to get the "Week 3" toys, but when I asked the cashier that I went to told me that she had "just gotten back from vacation today, and was told that they are currently sold out of toys".  Maybe their shipment hasn't come in yet, or I'll have to check out some other BKs.

Well, I was really going to stay away from these toys because I figured I'd get addicted and after getting one, now I am in need of a full set. Yesterday I first got a Podracer with a kid's meal (no big deal, I hadn't eaten BK in awhile so I managed). Then today I went to see if I could get em seperately, no luck, so I bought a couple kid's meals. The lady placed all they had out for me to choose (waves 1 and 3), so I got the Millenium Falcon and Jabba. Then I get my food and get to the car and as I'm driving off I find that there was a toy in each of the bags aside from what I picked, two Obi-Wans. So now I got an extra for trade or something. Then I went to another a couple hours later and asked if they would sell em seperately, they said they didn't do it anymore because then there'd be no toys left for the kid's meals if only the toy was bought (I sorta understand this). So I got a Jawa. Long story short, I still have one of the drinks and a cheeseburger in the fridge and I'm not quite sure if I can last having to buy a meal for each toy I get.

It seems like there's a different story at every BK.  I've only been to one so far, but we could get one with the Kid's Meal, and then another 2 for $1.99 with an adult meal.  But that's still a lot of BK.  (It's actually my favourite fast food, but we don't have a BK in town here.  Damn.)

Yeah, it seems like many of the BKs are quite inconsistent.  I stopped in this morning at our closest one, before running to Wal-mart, and asked if they had the latest wave.  The girl working brought up what they had, and it was the 5 from week 3 (which I still need).  I said in the past I was allowed to purchase them for 99 cents each, and asked if I could do that, and she said "no, only with a meal".  I thanked her and went on my way.  I really want to get all of these, but I'd rather go the ebay route than have to eat all that fast food.  I'll check the other BK across town this weekend that I went to last week, and told me I could buy as many as I wanted for 99 cents each.  I've gone into our closest BK probably 4-5 times since this promotion began, and it has been a different answer every time.  First time...with meal, or 99 cents each limit of 2 per day.  Next time, only with a meal.  Next time, 99 cents, as many as you want.  Next time "sold out", and then today "only with meal".  Crazy :).

Finding the Vader is increasingly difficult!  I was at a Burger King on Tuesday, and the lady said they had one in a box in the back, but weren't able to open any more up until they sold their current stock.  Argh! 

The worst part is you see them on eBay for a billion dollars.  Imagine that.   ::)

We have three BK's here in town, and when I ask for Vader - they still say "Who"?  The kids at the counter are clueless.  In fact last week I went in mid-week and told the girl that I needed to catch-up on the "Jedi Toys".  She looked at me real funny and handed me a packet of Ketchup and said, "Ok mister".  I couldn't stop laughing, I had to collect myself to explain that I needed to purchase some of the Star Wars toys.

Picked up wave 4 last night from my local BK so I am currently on target and haven't missed a wave yet.  In regards to Vader I got mine one morning on the way to work at like 9:00AM.  Seems pretty crazy how many people want him one day for lunch I think every person in line bought toys and everyone asked for Vader.  But hopefully everyone can find these at there local BK rather then the ebay route,

Went across town to catch the movie again this weekend, and stopped at the BK over there that will actually sell the toys (at least so far) without buying the food.  I was able to pick up Week 3 in full, so I was happy to get those.  3 weeks down, 3 to go now.  I hope this particular BK, although it is a little further to drive, will continue to sell the toys seperately.  Our closest BK has been quite inconsistent with this.

They are closing the local BK that was willing to sell the toys separately without having to purchase a meal.  It was practically across the street from where I work.  Today is their last day of business.  I will have to to the one across town now.  They make you buy a value meal, and you can only purchase two toys with each value meal.

Hot and cold BK story here. 

Went to BK last night for dinner :-X and they refuse to sell anything other than what they want to use up first, so I ended up getting Dave an R2 and X-wing, so not wasted, but couldn't access any other toys.   :-\  Worse, it appears I've maybe screwed myself a bit by going to the same BK as the others seem to be past week three and onto week 4 already.  I got some of week 3 in Fargo, but wanted to get most if not all. 

I was able to buy as much of week 4 this morning as I wanted without a meal (thank the Heavens) so I picked up Amidala, Grievous and the Jedi Starfighter passing on the Boga and JarJar >:(  What about Vader?  Grrrrrrr, sorry, we can't sell that one.   ::)

Fortunately a buddy from the Spawn board got me one, so I have a Vader now ;D  I guess the spawn board's not all bad after all.  Heh.

I was forutnate enough to find a BK that sells two for $1.29 as many times as you want as long as you bought one value meal. It means I only have to eat there once a week to get the toys, which really saves my waistline.  ;)

Stopped at BK yesterday, and they had "just got in" the new wave, which was Week 4 here, so I picked up all five of those for 99 cents each (Leia, Boga, Jar Jar, Grievous, Jedi Starfighter).  4 weeks down, just 2 more to go now.  I really like this promotion, and the toys are pretty cool (especially for 99 cents), but I'll be relieved when it is over with and I (hopefully) have all 31.  Should make for a nice display.  I'm just happy I got a Vader the first time I went in, so that headache was out of the way.  I've only ate one meal there the entire promotion, which is another bonus ;).

Went to the same BK last nite and the guy there was cool.
I asked him about the toys and he was like how many boxes do
you want? 2?3? I know he was joking...anyways I asked for
toys that I missed showing my sheet of lists and he went back
and brought out fresh box from the back and was able to
get most of the missing waves. So now I just need the last
wave. Got another Vader so 3 so far. I think some BK employees
are just nicer than some others...

I haven't won anything beyond food, but the nifty thing is that I'm essentially recouping the cost of the figures with all the food I've won.

Yesterday I picked up C-3PO and Clonetrooper from Wave 5. But I missed Wave 3 entirely when the stores here started Wave 4 early. Looks like I'll have to widen my search pattern.

The BKs here sell them $1.29 for two with meal, or $.99 individually.

The freebies are foldout kid's activity pages that have the figures on the back cover.

I was able to pick up the Clonetrooper, Wampa, and Super Battle Droid from the BK again without a food purchase. So close to completion ...

Stopped off at two BKs this morning while taking a trip to Target, and although they both had the new wave (just today), they wouldn't sell them to me without purchasing food.  I passed for now.  Looks like this weekend I might have to take the trek out to the one store in town that has sold them to me, as many as I wanted, no questions asked every time so far.  Hopefully they havnen't changed their minds on that so far :).  I was disappointed too, pretty good wave this week overall.

Went to the BK that sold em seperately and found out they aren't getting anymore and all they had to sell was Han. Then went to the other close one that made you order a value meal and found out they sold em for $1.29 each w/the meal instead of, as the sign above them said, 2 toys for that price. Crap.

And now I've decided to get a second set to keep sealed, so I'm only missing 8 for the complete open set and 18 for the sealed set.

I took a trip across town a bit to the one BK that has always sold them to me without the food.  I was able to pick up all of wave 5, so only one week to go.  As much as I like this little promotion (they really aren't bad little toys for roughly $1), I will be happy when this is over next week and I don't have to run around town after them.  Just as a side note, there have been three BKs I've visited, and two (while inconsistent) have insisted you have to buy food to pick these up while the other one will sell you as many as you want for $0.99 each.  Guess which one has been getting our business? ;)

Agreed!  I have really enjoyed the promo, but it will be nice to slow down on the BK food consumption. 

I travel between two cities for work, so I see the inconsistencies everywhere.  The city where I work had three Burger Kings (one sold all of the toys separately for 60 cents each) the other two require a meal and only allow two toys per meal.  The one that was selling them separately went out of business last week, so all week I have had to eat BK (especially since this is the best week of the promo).  When I’m home on the weekends (we have quite a few Burger Kings), but the one near my home allows them to be purchased separately for 99 cents each.  So now that the 60 cent place closed, I try to get all I can at home before I head to work on Monday.

Salads are better at Wendy's. 

At BK I usually order a Whopper Jr. meal with rings instead of fries and a diet coke.  Marginally less calories than a whopper meal and I'm still full.  It's crap regardless. 

The chicken fingers at BK suck too :-X

Same here, and I've been quite happy for that.  The first day these came out, my wife and I happened to have the afternoon off, so we decided to try the food.  We hadn't eaten at a BK for probably almost 2 years, and really haven't eaten "fast food" (aside from pizza once in awhile) for a year plus.  Needless to say, we weren't too impressed with the food.  Anyways, that was the first and last time I had to buy food for this promo.  Everything else I have been able to (luckily) purchase seperately.  Hopefully I can get this last week's wave the same way, and wrap this collection up.  It is a fun one, but I'll be happy when it is done with.

Picked up Fett, clonie, and 3PO and I must admit - for FF promos, theses are pretty  cool!

I am VERY tempted to collect all 31 but I don't want to eat there and I don't have the balls to just stop in and buy toys.

I did the same.  I could not see myself eating that crap.  I preordered a set online and received them Sat.  I was satisified with the price I paid and my body thanks me too.

I was able to pick up the last wave (without food, hooray) last Friday, so I'm all done as well.  All in all, a nice little promotion and cool toys for 99 cents each.  I am glad to be done with it though, one less place to stop in the "Star Wars" route now ;).

These are some of the neatest little collectables ever I think...  I only wanted the Plush but BK's are a bitch to find for me.  Not many left around Pittsburgh, and of course my area is the least likely to find a BK.  Used to have 3 within 15 minutes or so but they're all gone now.  Only one was within an hour away and it's a direction I never go anymore.

I appreciate the help!

Anyone else maybe have some?  The Boga, Jawa, and an extra Chewie would be appreciated greatly. :)

Some general thoughts on the BK toys now that it's over.

At the the Pgh show a few booths had the toys for about $3ea.  A few had maybe a handful of random loose they would part with for a little less.  Full sets were about $40+.

My Burger King (one that's kinda near Jesse too) would take the plush and put all of those in the kids meal bags, so any of the kids typically would get the plush unless they asked for somethign different, making the plush a little harder to snag.  I would imagine they weren't the only ones that might have done this.  This would lead me to beleive that down the road the plush ones may eventually be just slightly harder to find(just a hunch), plus one of the employees also said a lot of times theres a brother and a sister, so they would try to give the sister a plush or a Padme.

One or two booths would give me the same story that Maul was $5, Fett was $7 and Vader was $10 (these were the HTF ones is what they would say)

Persoanlly all said and done, from a collectors standpoint I thought the promotion was kicked off poorly, I found the Vader first day, but was a hassle to get. The employees at first didn't have a clue as to what the prices were, how many figs you could get, etc. but after the first week it ran smoothly.  I the actual toys themselves were great (for what they are) both from a collectors view and from a kids view.  Also, I think with 31 toys available, these will hold a collectible "value" better than the toy promos of the past.  They all in general just seemed kinda hard to find(lots of BK would be sold out of them), and you don't see hundreds of thousands of these lying around leftover like the Pizza Hut cups or Taco Bell SE and EP I toys.  I really didn't see a ton of them at the Pgh. toyshow like I had imagined I would.

so, maybe that gives a general idea of what the "market" on the BK toys will be like ??????  just my general thoughts, observations, and opinions.

Overall I really liked this promotion. They were great figures for the value (spot-on likenesses for Obi-Wan, Padme, etc.) and pretty easily available in my neck of the woods, where you can't throw an Ewok without hitting a BK.

I hope they continue this series again, perhaps for the DVD release in November. We already know they're doing some kind of watches as a tie-in.

The first couple of weeks, it was a total pain to get them all, and I also had a hard time getting the plush ones. The Jawa and Chewie in particular took me until week 4 to find.

I got Vader during week 5, which was great. I figured I'd still be looking on ebay for one had I not found it then.

I'm glad that I don't have to go to BK every Wednesday to get these anymore. Now I wish I'd have picked up all those Episode I toys and cup toppers, and I want to complete my 1997 Taco Bell set. I think I need R2, Boba Fett, and that Vader/Yoda cube thingy.

Galactic Hunter (http://www.galactichunter.com/absolutenm/templates/full_article_template_1.asp?articleid=4846&zoneid=2) has a few pics up of a possible BK "Super Deformed" Stormtrooper, complete with Imperial symbol light up feature.  Judging from the pics, and the logo on the bottom, it is indeed a BK toy.  Possibly a ROTS DVD tie in?  I had originally heard there were going to be watches for that promotion, but maybe the Super D toys were enough of a hit that they're going back to it.  I wouldn't mind having a Stormtrooper, but I hope they don't go too crazy with a bunch of other releases.  It was enough of a pain to get the whole set the first time :).

Well, they're back for the DVD release (http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/promo/news20050908.html), and it looks like we're getting 17 more.  All the details at the linky.  16 "normal" releases (4 for each new category), and another chase Darth Vader with breathing sounds.  They also mention that the Vader will be "a tough one to find this time".  Goodie.  As much as I enjoyed this promotion, and they are neat little toys, the thought of tracking down another 17 doesn't have me overly thrilled.  I made it through the last promotion only having to eat at BK once (until I found one that sold them all seperately, as many as I wanted).  Hopefully it will work out that way this time too, or I'll just wait for ebay.  We'll see.  More neat toys, but yikes, maybe too many of them.

I'm starting to wonder if that watch promo is still going to happen.  The last Burger King I was in was giving out little flyers showing the upcoming Super-D figures, but nothing was mentioned about the watches. 

I could take or leave the watches themselves, but the tins they come in look pretty cool.

That's kind of what I thought too.  The watches aren't anything spectacular, but I do like the tins that they come in.  I'm wondering how much they'll be, or if they'll show up too.  I might try to get the Han/Fett one if any, and I might just watch on ebay if its a pain to get them at the store(s).

As far as the Super D toys, I'm hoping to get the rest...particularly the OT ones.  I'm not looking forward to stopping at BK every week again either, but hopefully the one store that sold them to me (without food) throughout the last promotion will do the same again, we'll see.  Has there been any word of which ones are coming which week?  There was a vague schedule that seemed to be followed here at least (but not everywhere), and that makes it a little easier to know when to go in and what to look for.

Do salads count as adult meals?   The food really got to me last time because for the first half of the promo they made us buy food locally.  During the latter half it was better as I could just pick up the toys. 

I'll be getting the full run again.  Watches?  As said above, tins are cool.  I still have my homer "Mmmm, burgers" watch from several years ago.

My husband wrote a letter of complaint about our local BK recently; several times we went in, ordered with "no onions" and they were loaded with onions.  The district manager was really apologetic, and asked if there was anything he could do to make it up to us and get us to try the restaurant again (they are changing management at the store, apparently), so Tim e-mailed him back and told him his wife had a sick mental compulsion to collect SW stuff, and could he please get 'em to save some of the signage for me.  The guy said he'd make sure they did.  Yay for me -- if it really works.....

Update: At least one of our local stores in Pensacola has the watches.  They claim to only have one (Luke/Stormtrooper) in stock.  I don't know if the people there are stupid or if they really are just sending out one per week.

Today I picked up Super D Chewie and 2 Watches (Darth Maul/Obi Wan, and Luke/Stormtrooper). I asked for Vader Super D, but they said they didn't have it. They did have Obi Wan, Stormtrooper, Chewie, and the Snowspeeder. I was going to buy Obi Wan but they wouldn't let me buy the toy by itself, and since I had already eaten, I let it go.

Picked up the first four today.  Also snagged the two available watches - Ep I and IV.  The tins are really quite nice, the watches are absolute crap.  My daughter likes hers though. 

Toys are cool, but I had to pay $2 for the second pair.  Yeesh, I can hardly wait for the employees to get lazier. No Vader for me yet. 

OH and there was an obnoxious woman there berating the employee because she couldn't get either the Vader super-D or the Vader watch ::)  Classy adult reaming out a 16 year old girl that's never seen a Star Wars movie.  Nice, real nice.

The BK by my place has been wonderful for both promo's, surprising to hear so many horror stories. :-\

Picked up all 4 of week 1 toys (plus Vader), and 2 watches (ANH & E1). In addition to the toys & watches, there are 6 different lenticular gift cards, 1 for each movie.

I was able to use the gift cards to pay for the promo's, and did not have to purchase any food.

Success on Wave 1. And then today, another BK here actually had the second wave of toys already, so I'm all caught up thru week 2, even including Vader. W00t!

Like last time around, that particular BK is the best I've found for the Super-D toys. They just have a big box you can root around in (instead of trying to describe which ones you're looking for) and in fact the employee volunteered to look in the back for the other two characters they had that weren't in the box (Anakin and Vader).

That's what my cab driver called me at C3 :D  I gently explained to her that I understood her confusion but she'd better be careful as some of the more militant fans might not take her mistake so kindly. 

I forgot to mention I have an extra series 1 Vader to trade for the second Vader if anyone's interested.  It's a little early to panic about not finding one, but at least I have something decent to trade.

Why the hell I sucked myself back into this madness I have no idea but I went to both BK's here in Hillbilly country and they stated that I can't pick and choose who I want.  I got whoever was in the rolled up bag, even though I purchased two extra and the girl understood the reason why.  I wasn't at all pleased with that but lucked out and got Mace, Snowspeeder and Queen Amidala.  Then, I bought two gift cards (and made them give me two different ones) and went to the other BK (getting the same song and dance about not being able to hand pick what I needed) and ended up scoring Chewbacca.  So....I assume I missed week one figures even though this promo started on Monday.  I did get two cool gift cards (Luke and Maul) and need to go back and get Leia and Han. 

All in all, now that I have once again started this crazy collecting cycle, I do like the figures.  I'll have to contact the network back in the U.P. and see what they can do for me.  Nothing moves that fast up there!! ;)

We had lunch on Monday at one of the local Burger Kings, asked if they had the SW toys in, the stupid woman tells me yes, then proceeds to give me the old toys.  On Wednesday, I called several BK locations, and the only ones that had any toys in said they had the old ones.

Thursday, my husband called the same one where we ate on Monday, and the woman told him they had the new toys in, but weren't allowed to open the boxes until they got rid of all the old ones.

I'll be calling the BK HQ in Miami Friday morning to complain. This is a national campaign. They should have to let you have new toys.

I am assuiming, if I go by the little booklet that is in with each figure, that  the columns are NOT the order of the weeks.  Jill picked me up Obi-Wan and a Stormtrooper in Marquette, MI so I am stumped as to what I need.  I might have missed R2D2 but I have the Esky crew working on that.  My niece called and said she got me a Vader so I owe her big time.  I guess that it must be easier (in larger cities) to just pre-bag the toys so maybe I was out of line in my rant yesterday.  I know Ann Arbor, MI will let you pick what you need and it's a helluva lot bigger than Chilli but I guess it's per franchise.

I stopped by BK this weekend, the same one I found during the last promo that has no problems selling you just the toys (whew).  Luckily, they have the same policy this time, so I picked up the entire first wave (sans Vader of course).  Although I would like to get one, like Ben said, I don't think I'll stress about it.  I got the last version the first time I went in, and as long as I have "a Vader", I think I'll be ok.  I'm actually kind of interested in the watches too, mainly because of those spiffy tins.  I might just stick with the 3 OT ones though, we'll see.  Is there a sort of release schedule for the watches as well?  I was curious what was available which week, or so far at least.  I didn't ask when I picked up the toys, but probably should have.

The tins out first up here were ANH and TPM, the first movie of each trilogy respectively.  I'm sort of expecting them to follow that trend, though I'm not sure exactly how the timing will work with three pairs of tins and a four week promotion. 

I'll be making my weekly journey to BK either today or tomorrow, so I'll post then what's about.  The tins are indeed quite spiffy.

I just read on RS that this week is supposed to be episodes II and V, and next week will be III and VI.

I forgot what toys will be out. I just know that the one I'm really looking forward to, Jedi Luke, isn't out until the last week.  :P

Same here Ben, I'm really looking forward to that Jedi Luke as well.  I'm debating whether I want to collect the entire run this time or not.  Many are repeats of the first waves (although different), and I have to admit I do prefer the OT-based ones overall.  I picked up all of the first week for that reason, but I'm not sure about this week.  I wouldn't mind getting R2 and Jedi Luke, and some of the ROTS-ish ones don't look bad either.  We'll see.

I'm hoping to stop by BK to see if I can get the Han/Fett watch this week (and maybe the Luke/Stormtrooper one if they still have it).  I'd really like to get the three OT watches, although my wife thinks I'm crazy for wanting them. :)

They kind of ruined it with this rehash party, huh? I'm skipping Mace because it's just the same guy. It's not Bespin Luke vs Jedi Luke or anything. I'd pass on R2 too if he didn't have the cool gimmick of actually projecting an image of Leia (albeit out of his ass this time). I gone back and forth on Yoda, and even Vader at one point. Rehashes... And they didn't even do Qui-Gon, Dooku or Lando. >:(

I saw one of those on eBay a few days ago.  Bidding went up to around $120 but it didn't reach whatever the reserve was.  I'd be amazed if they sell on SWS.com for $500.  I wonder how many they actually have...

All I'd have to do to make room for that is to build a second floor on my house with an open ceiling in the living room.  No problem.   ;D

Stopped by BK yesterday to check on the watches, and picked up the two OT ones....Han/Boba and Luke/Stormie.  I'm holding off on the PT ones for now, although I might get the ROTS one.  The others are tempting too, just for the tins.  Didn't have to buy any food either, but they were a dollar more ($2.99 each).  The watches are ok I guess, but I think the tins are the best part of this promo :).

I went to BK tonight to get week 2. They just opened their case of week 2 tonight at about 8:45. Sheesh.
They also didn't have any watches for week 2 (AOTC and ESB) so I scored some grub and week 2. The jerk manager wouldn't give me one of the Vaders out of the freshly opened case either. So this place has now lost my business just based on the fact they were ******** about the whole thing. I know I said I didn't want the Vader, but if I can see the ************ in the box, come on.

So I head down the road to the next BK trying to get the week 2 watches. They wouldn't sell them to me without buying another value meal. My reaction, verbatim: "Are you ******* serious?"

I knew I shouldn't have bothered to track this second series down. I've had to go to two different BKs both weeks, and got treated like **** at each one.  I should just stop now and wait a couple weeks and get the whole damn set for less than it would cost me buying them each week.

My BK series is done. I have a complete set coming in the mail from a Snowtrooper here in Canada, saves me time and money tracking the figures down. Hell for $2. CDN per toy plus shipping, me thinks I did well.  8)

My BK experience below:

1st trip to my local BK in at 7:00 AM and just asked for two Vaders (one for me and one for BigDumbWookie) no problem 99 cents each.

2nd trip in the PM at another BK - a huge waist of time.

3rd trip to my local BK in the AM - clerk was talking with two co-workers with an empty store and told me she could not look for them as she did not have the time???

4th trip to my local BK this AM - the store manager advised me they did not have week 3, then she came proceeded to the back and came back with a sealed box of 200 or so.  I saw her opened the box and there were 50 each of week 3 and 4 Vaders.  I bought one R2 and x3 Vaders for 99 cents each to help out some JDer's.

I have one extra breathing Vader that I would really like to trade for a Chewie, Ben and Stormtrooper from week 1, pm me if anyone can help out.  I'll throw in a few dollars if needed

These little guys are too cool for school.

My stupid local franchise is still giving out old toys, either leftovers from the May SW promotion or leftovers from the just-over Wallace and Gromit promotion.  I am so angry. I have called the BK Miami HQ twice and left complaints. They gave me a number for the franchise that leads to some guy's voice mail. I've left two messages there. Finally got a callback from someone else (not sure if he's from the franchise or HQ, he just said "Burger King" and he left a number that's not a local number and no area code. 

Two of the stores have had the new toys on display and the banners up, even tho' they don't have the toys.  Went to another location today, and they had taken the display toys down; don't know if they sold 'em or hid 'em.

Now that we're two weeks into the promotion, BK locally has put up a sign saying you can get a fulll set of toys and watches with a $50 donation to their children's charity.  That may seem a bit steep, but the watches here without meal purchase are $3 and the toys are $2.

$2 x 17 = $34
$3 x 6 = $18
Total = $52, cheaper plus the huge benefit of the donation to the charity. 

Only problem is I'm now halfway through the toys and have four of the watches.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Week 2: go to local BK. Ask for new toys. Get told yes. Get bag. 4 old toys.  :( get told those are the new ones from the box we just opened.  >:( Argue with cashier (after getting my food already  ;) ) who goes back and finds 3. Tells me "that's all we got this week".  >:( Missing Mace Windu  >:(

Week 3: go to local BK. Ask for toys. Get shown 7 different toys - all 4 from week 1 and the three that I have from week 2. Get told "these are the ones that are in the box we just opened".  ::) Then they bring out a Vader  ;D. But I'm still missing Mace from week 2 and all from week 3  >:(

I can't wait to see what next week brings  :-\

Things are looking up in Pensacola, if the two guys I talked to this morning keep their word.

First, I finally got the right number for the higher up that had left the message last week. After I reminded him who I was and why I was mad, he said it was a "misunderstanding" that led to the local stores having the May toys.  They're "working" to get the new ones into the local restaurants.  And, he's going to send me a complete set in the mail, for free, as soon as his people get back from Thanskgiving vacation.  Hopefully that will include Vader.

Then, I had an e-mail from a different district manager than the one who stopped answering my e-mails. Apparently, the city has more than one DM.  He said the new toys should begin arriving Friday, and supposedly he's going to have one of his stores set aside a set for me (again, he didn't say anything about Vader).  I assume I'll have to pay for those, but that's fine, as long as I get one set to open and one set to keep packaged.  I'll probably try to pick up a few extras during the end run, since I have some overseas friends I trade with.

I've got at least one each of all the watches, with a couple of extras (gotta keep one of the Hans with me at all times <G>).

Gift cards - we went in over the weekend and the stupid woman didn't know how to ring them up.  Now, I told her how to ring them up, because I was there for the training session the first time I bought one, but she didn't listen to me).  So, the next day, we went in to the same location, and the cashier said they could just give them away without ringing them up.  So, I completed my set, and got an extra set. 

Hopefully, these two guys from this morning will keep their promises, and the toys are taken care of and I'll be happy.

I'm still not sure I'll eat at Burger King again after the promotion.  It took an awful lot of effort to get this stuff.

Thanks for the offer to help, DaBigKahuna, but the full set - including the Vader - finally arrived on Friday.  Hallelujah.  I went by one of the local BKs and they had the watch display window, with all the watches in it, put aside for me. Alas the standup part, they said, was destroyed by somebody's kids.  Then I stopped by the other BK that I've gone to the most, and that manager had a fresh drive-thru banner, never used, advertising the watches. Woo-hoo!

We went back to the first one Sunday night, and the manager there said she had it from the district manager to give me the big blow-up Darth Vader from the promotion last May. Apparently it's stuck up in the attic somewhere.  So, we'll go by later that week and dig it out.  Both stores promise me I can get the display kids meal toys when they take 'em down next weekend.  So, from being very frustrated, I'm now pretty darn happy. :)

I stopped by BK while we were Christmas shopping this weekend to try and pick up the remaining stuff I wanted.  I had hoped to get the "Return of the Jedi" watch with Leia/Jabba, but although they said they had "all six" that was the only one they were missing.  I picked up the ROTS Vader watch, as well as the Luke Jedi toy though, and was happy to get those.  I didn't end up getting all of the toys this time around.  Money is tight right now, and some I wasn't overly interested in anyways, so I just picked up the OT-stuff, the OT watches aside from the ROTJ one they were missing, and the one ROTS watch.  Is BK supposed to continue selling these this week and beyond, or is the promo all wrapped up now?  Just curious.  Hope everyone found/got what they needed.

I managed to pick up the last four toys yesterday after having finished out the watches earlier in the week.  Arrived at work today to find a nifty little Vader waiting for me thanks to DBK (thanks Matt :)), a very kind gesture.  And with that, I bid BK a fond adieu and will now attempt to lose weight again prior to the Christmas stuff fest.

I grabbed one of the last Vader watches from my BK, that was the one outselling the rest by far.

Also, they sold out of the last wave of figs before I could grab them.  Doh.  All the others hung for weeks, but that last wave, forget it.

With a little help from my PSWCS buds on the last 3 I needed, I completed the second BK set this week. Still need one or two from the first set that I just never got around to snagging and one of the fry boxes I fogot to snag.

Also completed all the promo stuf like fry boxes and cups, BK magazine, etc. and also have all 6 cards form the BK 2 promo.

No, don't worry, they're not coming back (at least not that I know of). 

I expect most people have been so poisoned by the experience at BK that they didn't venture forth during the recent Sponge Bob Squarepants promotion.  Still, I thought I'd ask, because we missed one item that my daughter wanted and that's the Arctic explorer Sponge Bob (blue with a teeth-gritted look on his face).  If anyone can help out prior to me hitting ebay, it would be appreciated.  We have a few extras of the spongebob things as well if you need something.

Older thread, but I was just curious about something... for those of you who collected these, either limited or the entire line, do you display them?  I collected most (not all of the second wave) of these, and had them on display - but with the arrival of a few new things (AT-AT from Mikey, a few new figures, etc.) I don't have room right now.  I'm trying to figure out what to do with them, because I like seeing them all together but I'm not sure there is anything else I'd like to pack away to make room for them.  Ah, the constant issue of display space :).  Do any of you display these, or just pack 'em away?
