Found the Target exclusive TIE Fighter today for $13.98.

Why? Because they were out of the R/C Hailfire droid, had raincheck slips, but shelf sign offered Clone Wars Starfighter substitute for $13.98. I saw the sign...great, but they don't have any clone wars vehicles...but they had the TIE, which scanned at $13.98. So I got one.

Then I foolishly went to the other Target, and no such thing there. They had the hailfire, vehicles were the normal price. Oh, well, shoulda trusted my gut on that one, which said "it's just this store".

Friday and saturday Toys R Us having another 2 for $9.99 sale on Star Wars (Legends and Clone Wars), plus GI JOE, IRON MAN.

Meijer stores have a 20%  general merchandise items over $14.97 coupon for this saturday only. (I dont know if that's store chain wide.)

My brother and I both got Kenner Lando just before seeing ESB, so he must've been cool to us at the time.

I only have the comic pack version of VOTC Lando.

POTF Disco Lando can never be topped. Ha! Muscle bound, cartoony faced and wearing bell bottoms.

Seems like they've never gotten his shirt color right.

Three camps, with Original Trilogy favoritism.

Main Interests:
Aliens
troopers (empire, rebel, clone)
background characters
Bounty hunters

Secondary:
Concept art figures
EU characters from perquel/OT timeframe
Pilots (Not a ship collector, so...)
Seperatist/Droid army
Main heroes/villains

Less interested:
Jedi
Sith
EU characters from 1000 years before ANH or far after ROTJ
Astromech droids

There's exceptions, but I'm just prefer the average joe with a gun over the destined sword wielding champions. Also, astromechs don't do much...I mean for $7 or $8...I want something poseable that can hold stuff.

The CDC Dr. Jenner was a downer. Also, I find it amusing had the survivors been one day later, they'd have found smoldering rubble. But everyone got a hot shower!

Also, Doc didn't know if it was a virus or what. Okaaay...I think they'd be able to establish more what it wasn't at least.

The brain scan thing was neat.

To add to the "not picking up weapons" thing,  the doctor noting that some assault rifles were left around...

Seems to me they need to consolidate some vehicles...too many for what, 11 people now.

We are left with two mysteries (beyond the virus), the helicopter in Atlanta and what the doctor told him.

I found Rebel Commando and Wooof at Wal-Mart for $7, then found them again at Target for $6. So I will be returning a Wooof to Wal-mart. I don't know why only those guys were left. Not like one of each, either. Target had three Klaatu and four commandos...Ackbar and R2-D2 bartender really are more popular than them? REALLY?

I dislike the Commando's hunched neck, they took a page from 1996 and the Tusken Raider who liked to stare at the ground. Also, I accidently puched a hole through his trenchcoat with the packback peg. Sucks that his head isn't swappable with hoth rebels, not without carving or whatever.

Wooof is  pretty awesome.

Flamethrowers are good for clearing out a tight-quarters area...  Just spraying and praying with them, they're less effective.

I guess they've been largely replaced by incindiery weapons like the M202 "Flash" (which I'm not real familiar with really, other than it's more a rocket launcher).

I have a feeling traditional throwers are still available in surplus though.

Possibly. But I learned that the military doesn't use them in the field as weapons from hanging around GI JOE message boards where some know-it-alls about the real military occassionaly chime in. Of course, there were like 4 different flame thrower characters on the 80's-90's GI JOE team, to heck with miltiary reality.

I liked Robonino's partner. One of the better new alien designs.

I like how they admit that Padme's elaborate hairstyles are just wigs.

The ending...what was up with that? I'm starting to think Palpatine might be a bad guy.  :P

They really need to make the Coruscant robot cops as figures. Not that they'll have anyone to protect besides Padme.

I'd like to know how Kamino went from a "lost" world outside the Republic, to having a place on the senate. "Oh, yeah, we grew the clones here. And now they are part of the Republic. THIS IS NOT SUSPICIOUS TO ANYONE."

Rebel Trooper, I fear, as others do, he'll be too tall. *crosses fingers*

Barriss Offee looks okay. This is her first action figure. Yes, something was released years ago, but I'm pretty sure it was a 3 3/4" statue.

Evazan might turn out well...heck, couldn't be worse than the old version.

Bastilla Shan...no idea who that is...reserve judgement on...even though no EU character should be made before Mosep. Or Solomahal for that matter. It's okay if they release Ms. Shan before Reegesk and Tzizvvt, but one them should be in the wave immediately after her.

VIVA MIXED WAVES, btw. No a Solo or Kenobi or Skywalker in sight. (I'm daydreaming, they'll appear! EN MASSE.)
