DN, you've been busy!  8)

I really like these trooper customs, I especially like the use of the VSTC X-Wing Luke legs on some of them.  I didn't realize what they were at first but they turned out great.

I also like the idea of degenerating clones - very interesting.  Good use of the Clone Pilot body to make him ... portly.  ;)

By the way, are you casting the AT-TE Tank Gunner heads or do you just have a billion of them?  I love the fact that your clones all have removable helmets or no helmets.

The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
Is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

I'm still working on trying to get those eyes to stand out...I'm fighting a losing battle.  :)

I have alot of Clone heads because I rarely do a clone custom without a face because I think it adds presonality.

Except for this one I'm about to show you. I've updated Captain Ratay a bit- I've renamed him an ADSC (Air Drop Shock Commando), added an Evo Stormie pauldron, and added a pair of goggles next to the belt.

I've also created two more helmets for Ratay.

Here is the standard helmet with the pauldron added with the goggles.

One of the new ones: low-light adapted helmet (flashlight added)

The final one: Reinforced Commando helmet with anti-armor DC-17

Well, I hope you like them. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Here's my advice:

Use the Scorch helmet. But, make sure you dirty up the gun a bunch. It doesn't fit in at all if its clean.

Looks great with the Scorch helmet.  I agree with Roton, you need to dirty up the gun to match your other weathering!!

That Scorch helmet is brilliant!  I know I posted over at RS, but I feel the quality of these customs deserves a post over here(I'll try to make this one a little more in depth)  I love your weathering on this guy, that wash really helps to bring out the details.  I suggest dirtying up the DC-17 a little, but not as much as the figure, kinda as if it was kept safe for the one occasion where an AAT needed a hole in in very quickly ;).  keep up the good work!

Your Ratay is looking great!

I love the multi helmets and as others have said, it's cool that all your Clones have the removable helmets - really adds to them I think.

Also love the way the kama looks with the gear - very cool!   :)

On the low-light helmet I thought the visor looked a little clunky, so I found another SA helmet in my fodder bin and repainted it.

I've also straightened up and cleaned up the lines on the Scorch visor, and added a light silver drybrushing. I dirtied up the gun a bit, but the flash on my camera kinda washed it out.

Now on with the pics:

I'm gonna stop now and say he's finished.

I sprayed my other 367th figs with a "matte" sealer, but it messed up my paint and made it glossy, so I'm just going to wait to pick up some new SA clones and start over.

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Absolutely the finest paint work you've accomplished, DN, and that's saying something. This paint job is in perfect scale for the figure such that it looks like it could be a 6" or 12" figure. FWIW, I think that's the mark of model painting perfection, when you can trick the eye into thinking the model is much larger than it really is.

Bravo, dude.

Nirvana, I ust LOVE what you've been doing with these softgoods accents on your recent clones.  The cotton knit fabric you've chosen is JUST right for that scruffy, battle-worn look and goes great with your wonderful weathering.  Always great to see softgoods on clones -- heck, on anyone!  :D

Fantastic man. This is your best work yet. You've got to tell me your %'s on your wash, so I can try and duplicate it for some ships I'm working on. Keep up this level of work, and you'll truly be amoung the best guys here.

Cheers!

Thank you everyone for their really kind comments- I entered him in an awards contest at another site, we'll see what happens.

InRem, it's good to see you back and your compliments were very nice- they really mean alot.

Findswoman, to get praise on my cloth work from the master at cloth work is really cool too. Thanks.

Famine, I don't really have a fixed ratio for my wash paint- it's pretty watered down, and I just measure by sight to get it the tint and consistency I want.

Once again, Thanks all around to everyone- I really like this guy.
