I also picked up a single Tri-Droid and Kashyyyk Trooper that I found hidden at my local WalMart.

I've been thinking about this a bit more, and I'm starting to think that the only thing that might be stylized are the character heads.
So for example take Captain Rex - let's say they start with the Evolutions sculpt of the Clonetrooper, trick him out to be an ARC-trooper, make it a stylized Jango Head underneath the helmet, I'm willing to bet the helmet itself will be a regular Phase 1 helmet like we got with the comic 2-pack Alpha figure.
I'm starting to think that Hasbro really has taken the "easy" way out here realistic bodies and armored characters with 3-D animation stylized heads on ball jointed necks can EASILY be reissued with more realistic styled heads down the line. Heck, they could have done the COOL thing and just put two different head sculpts in the packaging with the figure. I mean, look at what they've done with the two Ventress figures:

Now I'm really excited to see what comes out of Toy Fair this weekend.

I guess it all depends on how the figure comes.
If the figure comes in a smaller white mailer box only slightly bigger than the figure and the figure is in a clear baggie, then yeah, I think $6.99 is a bit much.
If the figure comes like the George Lucas Stormtrooper figure in a larger box and all carded up, then I'm okay with that. I'm sure we'll see how Captain Rex will be shipped at Toy Fair.
I'll still probably get at least three since (a) I have a mountain of the UPCs since I bought double TAC for the coins, I could sacrifice 60 bubble inserts and still have a full set - PLUS I have all of the inserts from the army builders and (b) two of the three GL figures I got came in less than mint condition so 3 gives me better odds.

Ok - so with all of the silliness we've see with Inferno Troopers and the blue Stormtrooper Commander, from the preview shot, why aren't the Stormtroopers featuring jungle cammo armor?
I wonder if the shot is just a mock-up - there doesn't appear to be any difference between the Wookie Warrior and the preview version we got for ROTS. I would hope that they use the repack as an opportunity to paint the figure a different color of fur.

As cool as that would be, I wouldn't count on it. I think Hasbro would dust off the molds for the Cloud Car and Dagobah Playsets and release both of those in the $20 vehicle assortment before they'd spend any money upgrading the AT-ST. I'm afraid that the AT-AT and AT-ST are all we're ever going to get - good thing the AT-AT and AT-ST are examples of some of the best work done by Kenner in the 1980s.

Picked up most of the latest 2" Titanium vehicles (didn't get the AT- OT or classic Galactica).
I also got 3 Hawkbat clones to finish off 2007 finally.
