Well, I grabbed a Luke Trooper off eBay.
Probably overpaid a bit, but I had kubrick fever, yeah, thats it.
I saw Tony won one earlier, so I didn`t feel bad bidding against him.
Got it for $52 bucks plus shipping, so 60 total.
I had a 10% off PayPal coupon that I used also, so grand total was $52 and change.

I've bought stuff from that seller before and he's been pretty good to deal with. Doesn't change the shipping cost to Canada, ships pretty quick and stays in contact - all cool. He also will undercut the declared value so I almost always avoid customs fees with him.

It's nice to see the prices coming down. I think Vader may sink as low as $50-60 for a while, but I was happy with that price. I also think Vader's value will climb higher again in time after the shipments are done in a couple of weeks and nobody's waiting for their boxes/cases any longer. But I thought that was a fair price, especially with the coupon and from a seller I've dealt with.

If I can score Han/Luke (from my box) or for around $50 each it will make my total costs for this series around $250 including the shipping. That's fair to me and I'll have a few extra figures to part with as well. I like that I'll have extra Vaders and Stormies as well, nice case count. Obviously pre-ordering from Robby.jp would have been the best alternative, but live and learn.

Now, I need a Rebo band set for $100 and a $30 Droids R2. That's not asking too much, is it?

I might just dump the 100 or so for it.... opened the 100$ Indy, so why
not Fett?

Been out of the game here a little too long, Jeff is hooking me up with one of his Boxes so I should at least get a set of 6. The Han and Luke are neat but to me would be very easy customs so I may pass on them and just buy an extra Bespin Luke and Han somewhere and swap heads. The Vader is the tricky one for me. We'll see what I do on that one. I hate how much these damn things have gone up in price over the last two years but alas, such is life on a foreign collectible

Just want to set things straight, because I don't know for sure yet:

1. Is "old Anakin" part of the normal Vader figure or is it a chase as well?
2. Is it possible to get Luke and Han variants in the same box or is one limited to HK?

Yes, the "old" Anakin Head is the standard figure. The Luke Head w/Damaged Mask is the Chase.

Neither is limited to HK or Japan, they have both been found in both places. What is different between the HK and Japan Master Cases is the placement of the Chase figures (apparently).

It is NOT possible to get BOTH Han and Luke in one box of 12. You get 2 Han Stormtrooper -or- 2 Luke Stormtrooper in that particular box, no one has found chase box with one of each.

No place I know of, most are sold out. If you want a box of 12 now it's going to be hard to get at a cheap price. Even on eBay they go for $97.

Might be best just to get the set of 6 plus the extras. $:-\$
