I mentioned this idea over in Chewie's figure thread but here it is for your consideration. What if we as a group made our own takes on Chewie's Rykrof character? You can make him in any outfit you want as long as it can be identified as Rykrof.

Once we are all done, we can send them to Chewie to include in a photonovel about Rykrof getting cloned and he having to fight his way out of the cloning facility. There could be the twist of do we know if the original Rykroff survives?

One of the projects I've started to work on is a super actuated slave girl Leia using the MicroLady body. So far I've added the head and collar. As you can see she is extremely...ahh...flexible.

 I need suggestions on a paint color to match the potf2 slave girl leia head. What color or mixture of colors would you use to paint the body?

Since the monthly customizing challange is focusing on playsets this month and next, it was suggested we extend the group project to any character that appeared in the Clone Wars TV series. Since we've seen so many clones, lets try to avoid doing them and focus on other characters that havn't been done to death. There are some cool customs in the creatures that Ventress had to fight in the arena or some of the aliens in the crowd sequence where Anakin tracks down Padme. Maybe those weird looking tribal aliens from vol 2. A kick as Durge would be cool or his IG lancer droids.

You can make modern, vintage or cartoon versions of any character that appeared in the miniseries except clones. No alternate costumes this time around. The two main ones suggested are Snowbunny Padme and Yoda.

The deadline for this is February 28th.

Here we are at the beginning of our ninth group project. We've been doing these things since April 2004. You can see past group projects over at the FFURG Casting Calls. This time our subject will be a set of figures that Hasbro will never make not matter how much we beg and plead - the Tonnika Sisters.

Deadline for this project is the end of the year. That will give everybody something to do during Christmas vacation. It also gives you a good excuse to avoid visiting your mother-in-law because you need to get your figures done for us.  I know, like that will fly.

Let's start looking for fodder and reference material for these girls. You're allowed to card them but its not necessary. Vintage or modern versions are OK. The sisters can be in any outfit you desire but they must be recognizable as the Tonnika sisters.

Does anyone have a good reference shot for the Glasslite Vlix? I have a casting of one and would like to match the paint as close as I can.

Welcome to another edition of Group Projects. This time our subject will be some rather wierd chacters - US !   We are doing this group project in tandom with FFURG. They are making a custom of Chewbacca's alter ego Snoova. This group project will end at the end of September. The group project is open to anyone that cares to work on it. Final pictures will be posted on the April 2004 casting call. You can see it here!

The idea is to make the specified character as well as you can. You should post work in progress pictures thru-out the month. We can discuss techniques and parts used. Feel free to ask questions and post constructive feedback. It would be good if you could post a pictures of youself so we can see your reference matteral. I always try to take any feedback I can get and apply it to the figure. Any questions?
