Title: Jedi Master Tholme???
Post by: jedistyle on October 7, 2005, 11:30 PM: Does anyone know how Jedi Master Tholme dies? I know he faked his death and came back as a test for Quinlan in Republic 76 & 77, but what after that? Thanks.

But I read someplace that he survived Order 66-though he'll probably be killed off soon; we don't need yet another prequel Jedi surviving into the OT or later.

Post by: MetalJedi on February 3, 2006, 06:59 PM: He's mentioned by Khaleen to Quinlan in issue 81. T'ra Saa was trying to get him to go to Nar Shaddaa to get away from the Jedi lifestyle for a bit right before Order 66 was issued.

Order 66 was supposed to finish the Jedi, it would be nonesense if such superhero-like characters just sat around for 18 years.

It was all to easy killing the jedi that he picked to show dying. Lucas made a number of point purely for the EU. He could have shown, definitively, that Jedi were able to survive the initial attempt on their lives.

I wonder if any of this will be flushed out in the new Clone Wars animated shorts? I'd think that Order 66 wasn't just a one just "just in the movie" kind of thing- just the beginning of the hunt to destroy the Jedi. It probably took years before the rogue Jedi were hunted down by Vader.
There are so many things in the SW universe that we need flushed out.

There's a pic of him in a Republic comic in a medical frigate with his leg stretched out, and it has a metal casing over it. He says that he'd rather not get a cybernetic leg because it'd make him something he's not, but at the same time, the leg looks pretty much like a prosthetic.
