My local Target finally stocked some vintage, but they wanted $10 for them. Is that the nationwide price? I seem to remember it being $9. Also, they took the Special Offer sets that were on clearance and put them back at regular price, removing the stickers and damaging the packaging.  ::)

Yes.  We have a Target downtown here that charges $11.49 - and sales tax at that store is 12.5%  They are $9.99 and $10.99 everywhere else around here.  $8.99 seems to be old news.

quote beagan from rebelscum.com:

Target's website has 3 coupons right now:

1. $5 off any Star Wars mask (I picked up a clearance grevious for $5.98 = $0.98)
2. $8 off any Star Wars lightsaber
3. $5 off any Star Wars purchase of $19.99 (I was able to stack this with #2 above for net out-of-pocket $17 [$30 - $8 - $5])

A local Wal-Mart had older Vinty figs marked down to $4, but only had a lone AOTC Obi-Wan and a few Keyan Farlanders and ROTS Anakins. I did snag the Obi-Wan though, to put the head on the Legacy Clone Armor figure, because for $4, why not?

I've heard this happen at a few stores...  I haven't seen many older vinty figures at my WM's but I wonder just how they're determining these were older in the first place?  It scares me a bit too, if it becomes more widespread, that perhaps they're planning for the seemingly inevitable bump to $9.97 on that line soon.  :-\

It was weird too because they had a Daulty Dofine that rang up at full price, or $8.96... it did have a new barcode sticker on the back though so maybe that's how.

The $4 Vintage figs at Walmart - are they in the clearance section or the regular SW aisle?

I used the last of my BOGO free coupons at WM today. I picked up Ric Olie and Mawhonic. The woman at the cash register wasn't going to take the coupon since she said it was a internet coupon. "We dont take those here." I said it a legit coupon directly from Hasbro and it says buy one get one free on ANY star wars figure not just the one pictured on the coupon. She spend ten minutes with the managers while my five year old was looking sadder and sadder. She finally came back and took the coupon anyway. All along, she forgot to log out of her cash register!

Regular aisle for me.

Thanks, I saw some tonight, same deal. They had a Bom, Keyan, couple of Black Endor Rebels, etc. Decided to pass, but may hit them again at a later date.

I also saw an old TCW Deluxe set of Count Dooku and Speeder Bike in the red/white packaging, still on the shelf at full price for $16.97. WTF?

One of the worst selling Star Wars sets in recent year. One local store still had Gelagrub battle packs at full price.

Anyone else seeing the clearing out of older Vintage figures as a possibly very bad sign of things to come in the next several weeks?  :-\

This has been my experience at Walmart.  They just might have dropped the vintage line.  We'll have to wait and see.

Saw some $4 figures, but it varied from store to store. Wooof was still full price at one, and the cloud car pilot at another. No luck on the newer waves, but congrats to those that got them. Wal mart just always seems a little less than consistant, to put it kindly.  But Target has been on a head'scratching streak themselves with things going on clearance, back to full price, down on clearance again, and DPCI issues left and right.  :P
