Love my R2-D60 thanks to Phruby.   :)

I'm pretty sure this means we're looking at a 5POA main lineup.

Hopefully what Hasbro hinted a while back about 3.75" black series continuing holds true; I'm not feeling too good about all of that though right now.

Thanks for sharing this list, Nicklab.

Bought that set for my son for Christmas.  He really likes Rebels quite a bit and this seemed like a good buy.

Emperor Palpatine - Homeword - Naboo.  Dark Lord of the Sith and the undisputed leader of the Galactic Empire.  Attempted to mold Rykrof Enloe but failed.  He takes great interest in Baron Tylin Gere's quest to acquire an ancient Sith artifact.

Darth Vader - Homeworld - Tatooine.  Dark Lord of the Sith and follows the instructions of his master, Emperor Palpatine.  During the Clone Wars, he was once friends with Rykrof Enloe.  He considers Rykrof a traitor to the Empire but also is fully aware that Rykrof once helped protect Padme Amidala.

Another dark, cool night on Dathomir's Aisle of Mist...

...which has become infested with the undead!

Near the eastern coast of the island, Kala Mly Shundi swiftly maneuvers through the Dathomir foliage.

He knows the only chance for Rykrof to have time to recover the Sith artifact is to lead Darth Vader as far away from his friend as possible...

...and soon, he may be forced to sacrifice himself in order to save his friends.

Less than a kilometer away, Vader cuts down a bloodthirsty inhabitant of the forest...

...but is careful to avoid them in groups, when possible.

He senses the Jedi's position and continues to push forward...

...and is unexpectedly met by one of his seeker droids.

The droid hovers before Vader...

...and informs him that the Emperor wishes to make contact.

"Open the communication channel."

A beam of light then emits from the droid's projector unit...

...and Darth Vader respectfully takes one knee.

"You disappoint me, Lord Vader," his master sneers.
"Your orders were to observe the situation... not to get involved."

"Enloe's Jedi companion is a threat," Vader attempts to explain.
"And the artifact's contents have been released... if Tylin Gere acquires it, his forces will be overrun."

"Then see to it that the artifact is secured," Palpatine hisses.
"But don't let this Jedi draw you away from the objective..."

"...and open your eyes to the opportunity that has presented itself," Palpatine pauses.
"This Jedi has been protecting others in hiding..."

"Kala Mly Shundi will lead me to other Jedi?" Vader asks.

"I have foreseen it," the Emperor smiles.
"But Enloe's role is vital... leverage the situation with his family to our advantage... report to me once you have completed this task."

Once the transmission ends, Vader stands to his full height...

...and Kala senses that his enemy's focus has shifted.

Meanwhile, Traedon Cusiro has tracked down Rykrof's protocol droid, T-3PO.

"I'm saved!" T-3PO springs to life.
"Badoo Corba agents... here on Dathomir... and horrifying beings..."

"Yeah, I know," Traedon grimaces.
"The group's split up all over the place... I found Doskin's body...or what was left of it..."

"Oh dear," the droid laments.
"I hope nothing's happened to Master Enloe!"

"He was headed toward the complex," Traedon says.
"Follow me... and keep your voice down."

"I should have stayed on Urelia," the droid mutters.

Nearby, Rykrof has entered the heart of the Imperial research facility...

"The lab's down this hall," he nods.

"There's a functioning droid in there," Freelo adds.

"Don't forget we've got Stormtroopers following us still," Caller reminds the pair.

"Just keep a lookout," Rykrof insists.
"I'll be quick."

"Who are you?" an Imperial research droid inquires.
"Badoo Corba agents?"

"No... we're not Badoo Corba agents; we were sent here to recover the artifact..." Rykrof explains.
"...by Baron Tylin Gere."

"I see," the droid responds.
"Then you are free to take it to him."

"But as I'm sure you're aware, the results of the procedure have been... mixed."

"What was the intended purpose of the procedure?" Freelo asks.

"The resurrection of Amalaech," the droid responds.

"Is that what this is all about? Bringing back a religious Badoo Corba prophet?"

"That was the intent," the droid explains.
"When the procedure failed, they blamed the Sunnellion scientists that were contracted to administer the contents of the relic."

"They tortured... and forced injections into the scientists... resulting in the outbreak..."

At that moment, the hand of the lead scientist reaches for Freelo...

In a flash, a laser blast from Rykrof's weapon sizzles through her skull!

"This is intolerable," Freelo exhales.

"Here they come!" Caller suddenly yells.

"Take cover!"

A laser blast then zips past Caller, right into the droid!

"Caller, get down!" Rykrof shouts!

Several shots blaze past the trooper...

...but it's too late for Caller...

...as he is gunned down by the Imperials.

"Dammit!" Rykrof yells.

Right then, Freelo slips, narrowly avoiding a laser blast...

...and is rendered unconscious!

"Hold your fire," the lead trooper shouts.

Rykrof then watches in disbelief...

...as Darth Vader enters the lab!

Unable to raise his weapon, Rykrof's heart races as the Dark Lord approaches him.

"Good; the relic is undamaged," Vader observes.

"As for you," he turns.
"...your next actions will determine your fate."

"...and of those you hold dear."

"What do you mean by that?" Rykrof asks.

At that moment, Vader drops a tracking device at Rykrof's feet.

"Leave this complex, and see to it that your Jedi ally takes you to his hidden base," he hisses.
"Once you have arrived, activate the beacon."

"You can't..." Rykrof starts to protest...

"There will be no negotiations," Vader insists.
"Do exactly as I say, or your wife and son will be destroyed."

"There is a functioning Badoo Corba shuttle in the north landing bay for your escape," Vader explains as he turns away.

Rykrof then picks up the tracking device...

...and conceals it.

"Secure the artifact," Vader orders his men.
"And allow Enloe and his friends to escape."

Outside, Traedon and T-3PO have reached the perimeter of the complex.

"This looks bad," Traedon observes.

"They've got this place locked down pretty tight."

"I'm going to need for you to distract those Stormtroopers."

"Distract them?" T-3PO objects.
"Sir, given my current condition..."

"Quiet," Kala Mly Shundi whispers as he approaches the pair.

"Wasn't sure I'd see you again," Traedon admits to the Jedi.

"Something has happened inside the facility," Kala says, changing the subject.
"I sense a disturbance in the Force."

"Like what?" Traedon asks.

"I'm not sure. But this mission... has failed."

"I wholeheartedly agree with you," T-3PO announces.

Back inside the complex, Rykrof helps Freelo to his feet.
"I'm okay... but what happened?" the Mon Calamari asks.

"Caller's dead... I'll explain the rest after we get out of here," Rykrof tells his friend.

"Stay close to me."

"But... where's the relic?"

"The Imperials took it," Rykrof replies.

"Just be ready for whatever may be on the other side of this door."

Once outside, Rykrof and Freelo find themselves at the north landing bay.

"Look on the far end," Rykrof grins.
"That shuttle looks operational!"

"I'll clear a path," he says.

"If something happens to me, get to any ship you can and get out of here."

Rykrof then eyes a metal rod that could be useful for defending himself at close range.

"There's so many of them," Freelo observes.

"...they're coming from all sides..."

"...maybe it's safer back inside?"

"If you want to get out of here, that shuttle's your best option," Rykrof argues.

The undead then begin to focus on Rykrof...

...who fires a quick shot through the skull of the closest one.

He then recognizes the walking corpse of Mubaas Fuuda!

"Death's too good for you; you son of a bitch," Rykrof growls.

He then blasts a hole through the former leader of the Badoo Corba!

"Behind you!"

Rykrof then quickly spins, blasting the would-be attacker!

"That was too close," Rykrof says.

He then smashes through the helmet of the last undead blocking their path!

"That ought to do it," Rykrof coughs.

But more of the artifact's victims continue to take notice to the commotion...

"Quit dragging your feet, Freelo!" Rykrof yells.
"I did all the work here!"

"I was covering your blind side," Freelo retorts.

Rykrof then opens the hatch...

...as more of the undead move in.

Within moments, the two survivors are safe!

In the adjacent courtyard, several Stormtroopers stand guard...

...as the Imperials prepare to disembark from the infested island.

"Well?  Did Enloe escape?" Darth Vader asks Commander Resibar.

"Enloe and his companion just made it to the shuttle," the trooper reports.

"Good," Vader replies as he turns away.
"I will inform the Emperor of our success..."

"...there is no need to stay on this planet any longer than necessary."

Dathomir... a twisted world...

...one which Rykrof Enloe swore he would never again set foot upon.

Yet, in order to save his family from Imperial Baron Tylin Gere, Rykrof has been forced to acquire an ancient Sith artifact... which is believed to be housed in an abandoned Imperial research facility...

...where the horrific power of the artifact has been unleashed!

As Rykrof's strike team enters the base, the foul stench of decaying flesh overwhelms his men.

"And I thought the forest smelled bad," Freelo groans.

"You're sure it's safe to breathe in here?" Rykrof asks his new ally.

"Positive," Ganton confirms.
"The toxin never went airborne."

"But watch your step," he continues as the group follows his lead.
"There's things down here far worse than what you've seen outside this place."

"Things like what?" Freelo asks.

"Things like I never thought could exist... the Badoo Corba had provided prisoners that the scientists were using..." Ganton frowns.
"This artifact you're after holds a power that's... it's..."

"...it's just not natural."

"Ganton, have you ever heard of a Murakami orchid?" Freelo asks.

"No... I can't say that I have," Ganton confesses.

"It's been said that generations ago, a Sith Lord created a formula using one of these rare flowers that caused the dead to rise... driven by a hunger for the flesh of the living," he explains.

"What we're seeing here with the artifact... may be connected to this legend."

Meanwhile, the voices of the group have attracted an inhabitant of the facility...

"Come on, you guys," Caller shouts back to the group.
"I'm not seeing anything down here to worry about..."

"Grulaaarrrhhh!"

"NO!" Caller screams!
"Get it OFF me!"

Just then, Rykrof fires a laser blast through its skull!

"Like Ganton said; watch your step," Rykrof frowns.

"Holy mother of Alderaan," Caller exhales with relief.
"That was close..."

"How much further until we reach the lab?" Rykrof turns to Ganton.

"Still a ways to go," Ganton replies.
"There's a checkpoint station several corridors down.  Once we reach that, we'll be just a few chambers away from the lab."

"I really hope Kala gets here soon," Freelo softly whimpers.

Several kilometers south, Traedon Cusiro, Kala Mly Shundi and HK-88 continue their journey to the complex...

...and come across an abandoned Imperial hover tank.

"Well, what have we here?" Traedon smirks.

The former bounty hunter quickly leaps onto the vehicle...

"If we're lucky, there may be some supplies in this bucket of rust," he smiles.

To his surprise, the hatch pops open...

...and an undead occupant attempts to pounce on him!

"Son of a bitch!" Traedon yells as he stumbles backward...

"Nraaaalaaah!!!!!" his attacker bellows...

...before being cut apart by Kala Mly Shundi!

"It is unwise to stray from the group," Kala says.

"Thanks," Traedon laughs, though shaken.
"I had it under control though."

"This... infestation... must be stopped," Kala replies as Traedon finishes off the decrepit body laying before them.

"Forget the tank," Kala continues.
"We don't have time to salvage materials.  We must be on our way to the facility.  I sense Rykrof is already there."

"I also feel... a presence..."

In a flash, the team's assassin droid is destroyed!

"Your mission ends here, JEDI," Lord Vader hisses.

"Traedon, get to the complex..."

"Are you crazy?"

"...the mission is what matters," Kala replies as he turns to face Vader.
"GO!"

Although conflicted, Traedon heeds the order...

"May the Force be with you, old friend," he prays.

"A brave gesture," Vader says as he approaches Kala.
"But your sacrifice will mean nothing. You have already failed to save your friends."

"You're wrong, Vader. Or should I refer to the boy I once knew?"

"You live in the past," Vader responds as their lightsabers clash.

"...and in doing so, will soon suffer the same fate as your brethren."

"My death will gain you nothing," Kala snarls.
"With each day, the Empire's enemies grow..."

"...the day will come when the entire galaxy comes crashing down on you."

"I sense your fear," Vader laughs.
"It once gave you strength... it now makes you weak!"

Kala then turns, knowing his only chance to save Rykrof is to lead Vader far from the complex...

All the while, Vader's troops have entered the facility...

...and are moving closer to Rykrof's team.

"This must be it," Caller grins.
"The checkpoint station!"

"Last time I was here, this door was sealed," Ganton observes.

"Well, lucky for us; it's open," Freelo smiles.

"Don't you get it, Freelo?"
"This door was sealed for a reason."

At that moment, the Stormtroopers enter the chamber!

"Blast them!"

"Damn it," Rykrof curses as the room fills with laser fire!

"It's a trap!"

"They must have followed us!" Rykrof shouts as Caller takes down one of the armored troops.

"FREELO!  Look out!"

"Oh no!"

Showing no mercy, the Imperials continue their assault...

...as the undead Badoo Corba prisoner prepares to lunge on Freelo!

"Freelo, get down!" Rykrof yells...

...as he blows a hole through the attacker's face!

"Come on," Rykrof continues.

"...we have to get out of here!"

"They're heading to the lab!"

"Move in with caution," Commander Resibar orders his men.

"They won't get far."

Two corridors down, Caller removes his helmet.
"Damn... helping you isn't anything like I expected," he wheezes.

"I know the feeling," Freelo trembles.
"Not sure... how much more of this I can take... and Ganton... poor Ganton..."

"You're doing good, Freelo," Rykrof assures him.
"And I promise... I'll get you out of here once we have the artifact."

"Those Stormtroopers are coming," Caller warns.

"We need to keep moving," Rykrof agrees.
"We're almost to the lab."

The obscure world known as Dathomir is one that Rykrof Enloe swore he would never return to following the Clone Wars.

But in order to save his family from the sinister Imperial Baron Tylin Gere, Rykrof has broken that promise.

...and encounters beings brought back from the dead by the very artifact that he has been sent to obtain!

The group's actions have attracted the attention of the planet's most menacing beast...

...a bull Rancor!

"Spread out!" Rykrof orders his men as the creature charges the group.

"And keep your distance!"

"Run for your lives!" Freelo screams as he disappears into the forest!

"Freelo's gone!" Caller shouts as he strafes away from the beast.

"I knew this would happen!" Rykrof spits in frustration.

"Find your friend and keep him safe," Jedi Master Kala Mly Shundi tells Rykrof as his lightsaber blazes to life.
"I'll handle this."

Rykrof and Caller then set off in pursuit of Freelo.

Just then, Kala allows for the Rancor to take him in its grasp.

"Kala!" Traedon shouts in horror.
"What are you doing?"

Ignoring his comrade, the Jedi allows for the Force to flow through his core as the massive creature pulls him toward its mouth...

...then quickly maneuvers himself into an attack position!

His lightsaber then penetrates the skull of the Rancor...

...bringing the carnivore to its death!

"You Jedi come in handy.  Maybe Order 66 wasn't such a good thing after all," Traedon smirks.

"We must find Rykrof and the others," Kala replies, changing the subject.

"The plan was if anyone got lost, to press on for the artifact," Traedon counters.
"I'm sure that's what Rykrof will do once he finds Freelo."

"Bacha tu melsay," HK-88 agrees.

"Very well," Kala concedes with great reluctance.
"We must continue to push forward..."

Nearly a dozen kilometers away, unbeknownst to Rykrof's team, their camp has been discovered by a hoard of the undead!

Rebel Trooper Doksin runs in horror...

...facing impossible odds!

Meanwhile, protocol droid T-3PO also flees the scene of the attack...

...but his stalker continues to gain ground!

"My joints weren't made for..."
"Whooaa!" he cries as he loses his balance.

"I've fallen and I can't get up!"

Within seconds, the undead trooper pounces on the terrified droid...

"No!  You can't eat me!" T-3PO wails.
"Can't you see I'm made from metal?"

At that moment, a blast of laser fire simmers through the trees...

...striking the creature in the skull!

The corpse of the former Imperial Stormtrooper lies silently on the ground.

"I'm saved!" T-3PO gleefully exclaims as he searches for the source of the blast.

"Master Enloe... is that you?" he asks.
"Are you there, Sir?"

"Hello?" he continues as he regains his footing.
"Master Enloe?"

Suddenly the droid finds himself staring down the barrel of a Rodian's holdout blaster!

"Don't shoot!" T-3PO begs.

"Enloe...?" the alien inquires as he and his companion approach the nervous droid.
"Rykrof Enloe is here on Dathomir?"

"Why yes, he's my master!" T-3PO proudly announces.
"Do you know him?"

"We most certainly do," the Advozse warrior laughs.
"We are Badoo Corba!"

"You're terrorists!" the droid realizes.
"I'm done for!"

Some time later, Rykrof and Caller continue their desperate search for Freelo...

"You've got to be kidding me," Rykrof growls.

"Rykrof!" Freelo smiles.
"I was starting to get worried!"

"You idiot!" Rykrof vents.
"What the hell are you doing?"

"Taking a break," Freelo tells him.
"I have a cramp in my leg."

"Do you realize what's at stake here?" Rykrof hisses.
"You can't go running off like this."

"Now we're separated from the group..."

"...and something's still jamming communications!"

"Take a look over that ridge," Freelo replies casually.

"There might be some supplies in that walker over there?"

"Might be worth checking out," Rykrof grumbles.

"Looks like it's been here for quite some time," he observes.

"I don't know... what do you think, Caller?"

"Drop your weapon!" an Imperial officer shouts as he appears from behind the crippled transport!

"Not a chance!" Rykrof immediately responds as he and Caller point their blasters at the man.

To Rykrof's surprise, the man lowers his weapon without a fight.

"I don't want any trouble," he says.

"My whole unit's dead... no point in fighting you... or anyone," he concedes.
"My name's Ganton."

"My name is Rykrof Enloe," Rykrof says.
"Tylin Gere sent us here to recover an artifact... what happened to your unit?" Rykrof asks.

"I worked for Baron Gere on the Dantallion... he sent us here months ago once he secured a deal with the Badoo Corba," Ganton explains.

"We were at the research complex, but the terrorists turned on us..."

"Then those walking corpse things appeared... we heard an explosion...  it was complete chaos," he says.

"I don't know what happened... we chased a group of the Badoo Corba into the forest... and things got worse..."

Sensing the man's desperation, Rykrof realizes that Ganton could be an asset to his mission.

"I see... can you get me to that complex?" Rykrof asks.

"Are you crazy?  I'm going back into that nightmare..."

"Look, we can get you off this planet," Rykrof tells him.
"But we have a job to do first.  You get us to the complex, we'll get you out of here.  I promise."

"Doesn't look like I have much of a choice," the man admits.
"Follow me."

"Here we go again," Freelo frowns.

For nearly two hours, the group follows Ganton deeper into the forest...

...and finally reaches the complex!

"I was beginning to think this place didn't exist," Freelo states as the group looks on.

"We've got to find a way in there from this side," Rykrof observes.
"Quietly."

"Looks like a multilevel facility," Caller points out.
"Most of it should be underground."

"If so, the laboratory should be on the first level," Freelo offers.

"I'm in debt to you for getting us here," Rykrof tells Ganton as the Imperial begins to step ahead of the group.
"But I'll take the lead from here."

Rykrof and the team then approach the complex...

"One thing to remember," Rykrof insists as he turns back to the others.
"We all stick together in there..."

"...nobody is to get separated from the group."

"There's no telling what we're going to find in this place."

All the while, Rykrof is unaware that the Emperor himself has an interest in the Sith artifact.

A fresh team of Imperial forces has arrived on the island...

"The advance teams are ready to move into position," Commander Resibar informs his superior...

...none other than Darth Vader himself!

"Good," Vader says as he turns to his troops.
"We proceed from here on foot.  I do not want to alert our enemies to our presence."

"Understood, Sir."

"Take Enloe alive," Vader instructs his men.
"Kill all others that stand in our way... make no distinction between the Rebels and Badoo Corba.  They are all terrorists with the same objectives."

"But do not engage the Jedi... leave him to me."

"Yes, Lord Vader," the Juggernaut's commanding officer replies.

"The relic will soon be in my master's hands," Vader hisses as he heads into the forest...

Photonovels and Movies / The Enloe Trials Chapter 3 - Revelations
« on: December 3, 2014, 01:33 PM »
I received a PM recently reminding me there are people here who may read here, but not frequent the other forums. So, here's chapter 3 - but if you haven't read the previous installments, it might be helpful to do so.

The Enloe Trials Prologue: The Baron's Crusade
Chapter 1: Seeds of Insurrection
Chapter 2: Atrocity

Feedback, as always is very welcome.  Even if you don't like what you see.   :)

The Dantallion...flagship of Imperial Baron Tylin Gere.

In the recent months, Tylin has waged a secret war...

...as he attempts to locate an ancient Sith artifact that is now in the hands of Badoo Corba terrorists.

He has destroyed Rebel outposts...

...and shown no mercy to his enemies.

He has even ordered the execution of members of Rykrof Enloe's family and blamed it on the terrorists...

...all the while, unaware that the Emperor has been monitoring his progress with great interest.

...while the scientists in the employ of the Badoo Corba pursue their own agenda.

Now, Tylin's Star Destroyer approaches Naboo.

On the surface, Imperial Stormtroopers patrol the capital city of Theed.

Meanwhile, Alyssa and Caldin Enloe are escorted to their new residence.

Alyssa is very concerned for the well-being of her son and does not understand Tylin's intentions.

Knowing that Tylin is set to arrive at any moment, she checks on Caldin.

"Why don't you check out your new room?" Alyssa smiles.
"Down the hall, last room on the left."

"This place is great!" the boy exclaims.
"Wait until Dad sees it!"

"I hope I'm not intruding on anything," Tylin then says as he enters the home.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" Alyssa asks Tylin once her son has left the room.

"You were unhappy aboard my ship," Tylin replies.
"I thought you may be more comfortable here, back on Naboo."

"Yes... it's better," she admits.
"But we can't go on like this. I need to speak with my husband... now."

"I'm afraid that's not possible," Tylin frowns.
"If we open a communication channel, his mission will be jeopardized. It could even get him killed."

"You know how dangerous the Badoo Corba are," he continues as Alyssa turns from him.
"Just look at what they did to your home on Urelia. Poor Josser... and Palom..."

"Please... leave me," Alyssa frowns.
"Caldin keeps asking about what happened to his grandfather... I need to be alone when I explain things to him."

"Just know that Rykrof is doing the right thing by going to Dathomir," Tylin offers.
"These are hard times for all of us, but while your husband is enacting revenge, my men will be here to protect you and your son."

"You know I have always cared deeply for you, Alyssa."

"And I have always loved my husband," she carefully replies.

"Of course. Rykrof is a very blessed man," Tylin smiles as he senses her discomfort with the conversation.

"Now... I must be going. If there is anything you need, please inform the security team outside. They will be on constant guard duty for your safety."

Far across the Outer Rim, the obscure world known as Dathomir is avoided by most travelers...

...meanwhile, Rykrof Enloe's strike team has landed on a small island in the southern hemisphere of the planet.

Encamped at their landing point, Freelo and Traedon Cusiro wait impatiently for Rykrof to report in.

"In my opinion, this place is cursed," Freelo whimpers as he observes the surrounding forest.

"I don't really care about your opinion, Freelo," Traedon sneers.

"If there's one person not cut out for this mission, it's you."

"How rude!" Freelo replies.
"I'll have you know, I've become quite the marksmen!"

"Is that so?" Traedon smirks.

"Can you two quit the bitching please?" Doksin asks.
"I'm trying to work here."

"Mind your own business," Traedon warns the trooper.

"Now, fish-face... let's see what a great shot you really are."

"Draw your blaster."

"Uh... I..." Freelo hesitates.

"Just what I thought," the former bounty hunter laughs.
"Still a puss."

"What's the problem down here?" Rykrof interrupts as he approaches the camp.

"Ain't no problem," Traedon smiles.

"There better not be," Rykrof warns.

"Listen," Rykrof adds.
"I'm risking a lot allowing you to be part of this team, Traedon."

"Easy there, Commander," Traedon grins.
"We're all on the same team here."

"Master Enloe," T-3PO interjects.
"Kala Mly Shundi shut down his commlink.  I'm afraid he may be in trouble!"

"His last reference point was about two kilometers north of our location," Traedon points out.
"We should check this out."

"That's what we get for splitting up our scout teams," Rykrof grumbles.
"Traedon, why don't you two come with me and we'll see what's going on?"

"Go ahead sir," Doksin offers.
"I'll stay back with the droids."

The trio then set off into the wilderness...

...unaware of what dangers may await them.

"Stop," Traedon whispers.
"Up ahead... look at that..." he nods.

Ahead of the group, an Imperial Stormtrooper slowly plods through the forest.

"What are Stormtroopers doing here?" Rykrof whispers.

"I can get off a shot, before he turns around," Freelo eagerly offers.

The trooper then begins to slowly sway back and forth.

"Don't shoot him," Rykrof whispers.
"We might be able take a prisoner here..."

"I don't know about that," Traedon tells him.
"Something's not right."

Just then, the Stormtrooper turns toward the group...

...revealing a bloody, decaying face!

"Prisoner, MY ASS!" Traedon shouts as he raises his blaster.

Then suddenly, Kala Mly Shundi appears from the trees above!

...and in one swift motion, he decapitates the man!

Rykrof and the others stand in silence as they attempt to comprehend what they just witnessed.

"Great work!" Caller shouts as approachs the group.

"Tachu nota!" HK-88 agrees as he appears from within the forest.

"I hope that didn't startle you," Kala tells Rykrof.

"What... just... happened?" Rykrof stutters as he approaches his Jedi friend.

"I'm afraid we are in for more than we bargained for on this island," Kala says.
"The contents of the relic... are no longer dormant."

"Did Tylin tell you about this?" Kala asks Rykrof.
"Did he tell you that the Badoo Corba had used the relic?"

"No!" Rykrof insists.

"Used the relic?  What are you talking about?" Traedon asks.

"We ran into two more of these things earlier," Caller says.
"The artifact we're after is responsible for this."

"...the relic that the Badoo Corba took was said to contain remnants of an infectious viral agent that attacks biological tissue... and transforms its victims into what you just saw," Kala explains.

"My senses tell me the Badoo Corba scientists have been unable to contain the virus," Kala continues.

"They may be in an even more desperate situation than we have found ourselves in."

"Whoa... if they learn how to weaponize this, there's no telling what they could do," Rykrof tells the group.

"Tylin must have sent a strike force here to recover the relic before he forced you into this mission," Traedon offers.
"And these... Stormtroopers... are what's left of his team."

"Damn... something's jamming the commlink signal," Rykrof then realizes.

"The Badoo Corba must know we're here," Kala tells him.
"We don't have time to go back for Doksin."

"Time is of the essence," Kala continues.

"...we must find the Badoo Corba stronghold before nightfall."

"I agree with the Jedi," Caller says.
"...and I don't think we want to run into any of these things in the dark... especially not when they're in a group."

"Alright," Rykrof concedes.
"Let's get moving."

That evening, back at the camp, T-3PO nervously approaches Doksin.

"Sir, I've been trying to contact Master Enloe," the droid frantically announces.
"But the commlink isn't working!"

"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about," Doksin assures him.
"The Badoo Corba don't even know we're here."

At that moment, R4-22 squeals a frantic warning...

...as something emerges from the trees.

"That man... something's wrong with him," T-3PO observes.

"It's a nightmare!"

"Get behind me, get behind me!" Doksin shouts.

The group quickly falls into a panic as they become surrounded...

"Curse my metal body, I dropped the commlink!" T-3PO cries.

"WE'RE DOOMED!"

"NOOOOOO!!!!!"

30th Anniversary style would rule.  Cobra Troopers galore... Ultimate Cobra Commander.. Storm Shadow...other classic characters... I'd be in... so would my son.

I don't think Hasbro has helped their own cause much, but I do agree with nearly everything you said, Jesse.

145
Yeah if I made a list of the "I want to......"'s I'd have one hell of a long list.  I have a ton of things on the table all the time.  Rarely much time to finish them.  I've had my Turbo Tank torn apart since I bought it.  I should put it back together till I'm finally ready, as I really just needed to see it apart first.

I was able to get a 3rd one last night - $39.00 was fine.  If I ever get around to customizing it I'll share pics.  My version would be a relic though of one during the OT era... some sort of battlefield graveyard.

146
And thanks to my local buddy Jim, I now have an MTT for $31 which I intend to customize into a more believable vehicle for the size...  Something of a Squad level transport, or even maybe just basically a "cargo truck" type of vehicle.

I like the idea of a squad-size armored vehicle for the Separatists that would be sent into urban environments though.  Smaller, easier to maneuver, maybe a little zippier.  Maybe a little bit of a defense upward towards higher levels of buildings?  I have some ideas anyway.

Either way, for $31 it's tough to pass up any vehicle this large.

I'd love to see pics when you do this... I know projects like that take a long time though - I have ideas I've been toiling around with for years but haven't started on yet.

I've got two of these that I paid much more for, and am hesitant to customize one for some reason.  If I can score one on the cheap though, it could make for a great project this summer.

Picked up Vizam and Merumeru at WM this morning. Guess my area just skipped wave 2 entirely.

Hopefully Wave 2 gets skipped... If not, Waves 3 and later might not really get distributed until Fall at this rate.

I dunno, seems to me that in Fall 2015 would be a weird time to release a big item from Rebels... Seems by October-ish it will be Ep7 time for the toy focus.

Ah, ok - thanks.

I think I've seen this a time or two in the past (I believe back in 2010 because I remember seeing armies of TVC 4-LOM and Dengar for $9.99 at some Target stores, $10.99 at others - or something like that), but not to this detail.  I was never able to see any real correlation with which stores had higher pricing than others.

Jeff, do you see a connection with the higher pricing being in more affluent areas?
