My job requires quite a bit of traveling, and this past week I have been my two smaller and older Walmarts that no longer carry Star Wars stuff. This really, really sucks. Especially since they have quite a bit of space for GI JOE, Transformers, Power Rangers, etc. But no space anymore for Star Wars. Grrr....
:P

That really, really sucks, bro. But look on the bright side...at least you have some Walmarts around you. There's none of them around NYC. I'd give up my Tibanna Gas Mine for a Walmart! :D
-
The one's outside the city aren't that great. So, no need to sing the blues, Lando.
-
My Wal-Mart hasn't had a new box since... 2002?
It's annoying to here people say, "so and so store is the best!" all the time, when every damned store I visit is barren of anything past the 2002 waves.
-
Hey CHEWIE, I noticed that durring the POTJ line, the Wal*Mart in DeSoto wasn't carrying any Star Wars goods at all.
It looks like in non-movie years, only the big Wal*Mart stores carry the product now.
Makes things that much harder.

Plenty of HULK toys to go around, though. ::)

Ponda has it. A powerful ally, the internet is.
-
Yes, plenty of Hulk and Smokey Potter toys. WM is notorious for promoting the flavor of the month in toys.

Yes, even more Hulk toys have showed up. Never mind the stunning array of figures ::) those ultra cool hands :-\ but now we have Hulk Helicopters, jeeps and tanks. Whoo hoo >:( Between that, power rangers and yu-gi-crap there ain't much room. And I don't see that stuff moving.
Other Hulk items ::)
Mountain Dew cans and slurpee cups
cereal
vanilla pudding in green packaging ???

Hey now!!! I own a pair of Hulk Hand, and IMO it's the coolest toy this year. I'm trying to get a Hulk Hands boxing division going with my buddy's. "RRRAAAARRRGHG!!! HULK SMASH!!!!"

Yep, that's one of them! The other one I think is in Belgrade? Or is it another town...
Did you know there is a new nice Walmart in Potosi and another in Desloge? If you're ever in the area, I would recommend checking them out. Also, I did find the new red Battle Droid at the Walmart in Union. Too much driving I do at times! :-\
:P

I've been excited about my Wally worlds lately not the Super Walmart but the smaller one...they are building a new one near my house supposed to be the 3rd largest in the state!!!! Hopefully when it opens August 1 there will be many new figs to be had!!
-

the one in Monroe is pretty good, i forget what road its on though.
i want to say 287, but i am unsure.
but hey all wal-marts are about 40-50 minutes away from me... so i know wht its like not having them around.
but as little as i go to them, i'd be pissed if they had no SW items as thats what i'd be going for.
-
Sounds great Jedirhino, I would try to be there for the grand opening if I were you. You might be able to get some brand new stuff.
Yep, dimetrodon, I had a little extra time today while I was out, and went by a Walmart that is pretty far out of my way. I thought to myself, "aw hell, maybe they will have some newer stuff in, I might even score another red Battle Droid, Imperial Officer, or even a Yoda/Chian finally." But heck no, I went by there and they were stuffed with the Watto/Lott Dodd wave. Yay.
:P
-
Our Walmarts have nothing but the same old crap! All the Star Wars figures they have are from last year & they drop the prices on them & still they cannot get rid of them. Very sad. By the end of the year, they will put them out again in the bargin section with all those Hulk toys. ;D
-
To think,at one time I wanted Jango Pilot ::)
My wal-marts carry them, and one of them still has April 23rd run off.
-
WalMart has just totally collapsed for me as a source for SW figures. It's not even a factor anymore.
-
Ick. All the local (and even some far-away ones) all have that accursed Lott Dodd/Watto case with a few Anakin HD and 1st Dooku here and there. I don't even want to think how hard it'll be to get the Deluxe Obi-Wan and Jango, because retailers here by and large have given up on stocking them. I have the Spider Droid and Super Droid builder already.
-
Funny how everyone is having problem with Walmarts in their area. If not for Walmarts around here stocking the occasional new figure, I would have seen exactly 1 new fig in a store (Target). But due to Walmart, I've managed to pick up about another half dozen of the 2003 figs. I haven't seen anything new in a few weeks there though. :(
-
I think those Obi/Jango Deluxe figs are doomed at retail. No one's stocking them, and Target skipped them altogether. Now we have the CW 3 packs replacing them shortly. I'm glad I ordered from Newforce.
-
I found a blonde Imperial Officer at Target today, so maybe that's the place to be. I didn't find any Younglings or Yoda, or Red Battle Droid for that matter. Hopefully BBTS will stock them soon, cause I don't like buying cases.
-
Yeah, I think Target is primed to be getting in a lot of SW stuff soon. None in my area have barely anything at all right now (actually that goes for nearly the entire toy department!).
:P
-
When I went to my uncles house I bought a varation of the Endor Rebel Soldier (Clean Shave) at Walmart and they also hade a Ki-Adi-Mundi.
-
None of the Wal-Marts in Knoxville have had any new figures in about 9 months. Knoxville's dry.

Dimetrodon, I only talk about stuff like that over at the NJSWCC. You should post there some more.
