Did he even fly a B-wing in the movies?
No...I had a dream last night that the flight gear came off and he had a vest included was how the figure was made.  I think they answered somewhere why they did this this way but I am too lazy to look.

I believe he is seen in the Rebel Briefing scene as wearing the B-Wing Pilot gear

It thought that the guy in the briefing is supposed to be a different Sullustan entirely? I think someone mad a mistake on the name plate.

In my imagination-EU, Nien was all suited up and ready to get in his B-Wing when Lando strolled over and said, "Hey - my pal Han is gonna let me take the Falcon... you wanna ride with me?"

To which, Nien uttered his trademark giggle-garble talk and said, "Let's roll, Dude!"  He ditched the B-Wing gear, put on his best co-pilot vest and hat and that's that.

Maybe Lando needed a co-pilot for the Falcon and had to ask around after the briefing was over.  Then good old Nien said sure why not.

Major Panno is the hit of the wave for me, among many fantastic figures.  The two Jabba aliens are close, though!

He's actually "Nutz Numb", which everyone in the starfleet makes fun of him because his name in the phone book is, "Numb, Nutz" and it pisses him off.

Sadly, he died at Endor.  The laughing finally stopped.

That's funny. Thanks for the laugh!

Unless there is something going on with the light, they still look like two different Sullustan masks to me. Nien Numb has a  darker color to his skin and his eyes and mouth are both a little more closed. And the lips look different. I'll happily take this figures as an accurate Red Sullustan B-Winger, and leave it at that. Hopefully we'll get a resculpt Nien Numb at some point.

I think I read somewhere that, Nien Nunb was B-Wing Pilot supose to be filmed in the cockpit of the b-wing fighter in DS2 Battle, Like Wedge, Green Leader etc. was supose to have a call sign but Lucas wanted Lando to have a co-pilot, so they used Nien Nunb and took the gear off and put a extra Han vest on. and now he have Nien Nunb we know today.

Another great wave. I'm really disappointed in the lack of Woof figure, but with the current contents, I'll overlook it.

Man...I see tons of people complaining about DSII Luke...really?

I really think it is one of the best Hamill likenesses yet...it is super articulated...and has some neat accessories (with a removable flap).  Not sure what all the bellyaching is about
