Last time I checked the Pilot Obi wasn't a pegwarmer.  :P

He most certainly is here there has been at least 20 on the pegs for 3 weeks and they haven't gotten any new cases in.

I can't say much of anything that hasn't already been said. I just got a load of figures from Dave, he packaged them carded cause he got too "lazy" to package them loose. Even though I could care less about the card since most of these were for custom fodder, they all arrived minty fresh. It was a pleasure dealing with you Dave. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :)

$40 for 3 sets didn't end up so bad. I'm not thrilled with the Luke or Leia but The Chewie and R2 are great. I don't have a loose VOTC Chewie or R2 so this is well worth it for me.

Dawn of the Empire (ROTS) Wave:

Repacks:
Pilot Obi-Wan
#2 Anakin/Vader
Emperor Palpatine
Tarkin
#6 Shocktrooper
Imperial Medical Droid
Polis Massan

New/Repaints:
NEW Imperial Officer w/ blaster and mouse droid

Vehicles/Beast:
Obi-Wan on Eopie (Boga Obi sculpt)
NEW V-Wing

Or how about no repacks. ::) Esspecially not those, they are all pegwarmers with the exception of Tarkin and the shocktrooper.

I really like DoctorPadawan's list. Hasbro has the ability to make SA figures, so there is no excuse not to. Add a V-19 Torrent fighter to the CW wave, and I'd be good. :)

I'm really excited for this movie. I had never seen the show before but I started watching it on SciFi because it came on before Stargate, and I got hooked. It really is a great show. I need to get the DVDs, but there are so many different DVD box sets that I need now, I don't know when that will happen. :-\

Ooooo look I got a new colored lightsaber. :P

I commented more in your thread, but that is perfect. The armor is a great color it is still a dull earth tone but it is different enough from the rest of the body that it breaks up the color and makes it look like a whole new figure. Thanks for fixing Perrenial's picture too BTW. :)

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: CHEWIE's CUSTOMS - updated Sunday 9.25.05

Wow he looks much better. :) I'm glad you went with a non-colorful look. The clone trooper gloves look really good on him too. Is there a face under the helmet?

I like the Alderaan Guards but I think I would have used a different holster, one less falical. :P

Tame Heem and the Niemodian look great. I really like that pale blue color.

I've got lots of family and friends in San Antonio and one of my best friends that I've known since i was about 6 months old is in College Staion, he goes to A&M. He is in ROTC there so he has been doing a lot with the Katrina Vitims and will be doing a lot for the Rita victims. He and I agree Rita is going to be bad, but we think Texas will be better off that LA. They don't have any cities below sea level so the flooding should be a lot less severe. A lot of people have already managed to get out as well. I think that the government has learned from Katrina too, so hopefully this should be handled better. Best of luck to all of you in Rita's path. :-\

I love that ubese Perennial! The part choice is fantastic, the Jedi robes and the Royal guard boots fit together perfectly. I like how you changed up the helmet color too.

Would you mind cropping that picture so it isn't so big when I stick it in the image thread? :P

I think that you should give the commander a white colorashion(sp) like Commander Bly.
JNiebs-

And then he wouldn't be a Utapau Shadow trooper. What whould the point of that be?

DD I think it looks great. I agree on the pouches. While I normally like my clones weathered abit, I think that this one looks better like this and I'd skip the drybrushing. That will definitely sell well. :)

Oh one more thing I'll add all the entries so far to the image thread sometime late tonight or later this weekend since it is the last week of September now. :)

Justin - I commented more on this in your thread, but he isn't my favorite, I think that the arms are way too long, they look goofy. I think it has potential to be are really good custom, you just need to shorten the arms and maybe break up the color by darkening his armor a bit.

Paul - I'll be lucky if my Trando turns out half that good. I LOVE how you used the fleshlike color. It makes him very un-Bossk like, which is a very good thing. Nice choice of accessories, I really like the mine, it is very fitting. He looks like he could blend in with normal civilians which is what really makes him look so good.

CHEWIE, I like this one but I don't think it is one of your best. I think the drybrushing and base colors look really cool,  think you could try and break it up some more though. Maybe change the color of the chest plate and jetpack to something a little lighter or darker. You could also add some different colored switches, lights, or insignia to the armor. I think the arms need to be shortened quite a bit, they really really long. Your wingspan is supposed to be the same as your height, his hands almost reach his knees and his arms are bent. I have ridiculously long arms, I'm 6'4" but I have a 6'9" wingspan, and my hands only reach the half point on my thighs. I think it is because of the gloves you added, they are a good choice but they add too much length to the forearms, you should trim down the forearms some so the arms are a better length.
