Kenner Retro Collection / Re: 2023 Kenner Retro Collection - ROTJ
« on: October 19, 2022, 09:07 AM »
My 5 year old and I have played both games a million times now. People buy it. Why wouldn't they do it again?

Nothing boring about this line. I'd love more new figs and this is the least helpful to my vintage collection with only one place holder but I still think it's fun.

If you're looking for spot on adaptation then stay away. If you can deal with an adaptation that takes lots of freedoms but still is new LotR and give the whole season it's due before rushing to final thoughts then it's very fun/good.

I would say if you believe Galadriel has to act a certain way then just skip it.

I am a big fan of the word adaptation not needing to be very rigid to still enjoy things though.

I was enjoying but not loving Rings of Power. The finale last night has me super excited for s2 now.

I thought they were building up the faces of the rebellion. Not those characters themselves.

Well of the Souls / Re: Hasbro 2023 Indiana Jones Line Announced

My perception was the Indy line didn't do well at all 10 years ago. Most all the stuff I bought was on clearance. Are they wary of that?

Did anyone test this? I don't know who they took scans of but it wasn't me.

Just wanted to say this line from Steve is my favorite quote of the year.

"My Original 96 figures are being 'prepared' (prepared to ship, prepared to be delayed, I don't know)"

It is so on point. I always thought once stuff was preparing to ship I was good but then WM said hold my beer

My Amazon order went from 2023
To end of August
To end of September
To this  Wednesday.
Then I changed which card I was going to use and now it says "we will email you when we have a ship date" and doesn't even show up in my orders unless I specifically search it.

That happened to us once with a food product my wife ordered. I assumed it probably got damaged on way here.

I pre-ordered her. Beautiful figure. It feels less of a punch to wallet when you pre-order. You can break it up over three payments.

Mine has been "preparing for shipment" for a couple days now.

I received the same email but now just got a new email saying September 27......

Very cool. I miss buying carded vintage figs.

Any chance anyone else pre ordered the Visions Am from Target? I got an email last week that she'd ship 7/31 and now she's back ordered. Curious if they got less than expected or none.
