For those of you that have not seen the actual figure of my namesake, 'Rorworr', that is included with the 'Invasion of Theed' RPG, here he is...
He comes on a nifty POTJ micro card. The back has images of 16 POTJ figures and it is a .0000 card. I recommend the investment (the game retails for about $16) and there is no reason you shouldn't open it up to release a carded and bubble blistered, Exclusive figure to display with the other great POTJ stuff! If you are going for the 'loose' collection, he is a must have! I have already bought and broken open 2 boxes and I hope you can see why I adopted his name. A young, dashing wookiee ready to kick some butt! Chewbacca is tops in my book, but the idea of a lesser known wookiee getting an action figure is way too cool!

My wife gave me this guy for Christmas.
I'm an opener for the most part, but can't bring myself to do it yet. I love his haircut.
Haven't played the game yet either.
-
I've never seen that before. Very cool!
-
I bought that figure off ebay awhile back. I like him. :)
-
Yeah, he's definately a neat "extra" you got with the RPG core box set.
I would have loved a second one to cast the head... I'm hoping we see more wookie figures in general at some point, just for some variety. A wookie with a removeable bandoleir would be great for us customizers too at some point since Wookies don't all dress the same.
I'd love to make an accurate scale/clothed Roworworrworrowororr someday, but that'll only be if I nab a 2nd one to boil/pop...

I picked up a couple of those at clearance, and I’m really glad I did – they’re fairly hard to find in the UK now. Looks great sitting alongside my other POTJ stuff :) .
-
Man, I'm glad I clicked on this thread.....I hadn't seen that figure yet....pretty nifty.
-
ohhh, i like that, what is the availabilty of this figure like in the uk?
anyone know where i can get hold of one?
do it retail expensive?
-
The UK price was about 15 pounds in FP and a few other specialist places. I actually got my two on sale for a fiver each in James Thin booskshop in W-S-M.
-
weston super mare?
-
Yep, but until very recently, the “M” stood for “Mud”.
-
it was a cool figure at the time. but i didn't really need any other wookies... as Chewie is THE wookie.
sold one cheap and traded the other for a bossk and sandtrooper.
but if you plan to reconstruct kashyyyk then by all means make soem wookie customs :D ;)
-
if you want this fig cheap i'm pretty sure you can get the Invasion of Theed for $7 at waldenbooks.
-
I think it's a totally cool figure, but bloody ugly. Really, I do. I haven't had the heart to open it up, so I'm looking through a mini plastic prison, but the detailing looks cruddy to me.
Happy to have it, just not that impresssed.

I bought the game for the figure. I am a MOC completist so I can't bring myself to open him. But what a great looking figure. Like Rorworr said, I love Chewy but this fig is awesome. I wish they would make more wookies and hopefully they will with the release of EP3 because I have been hearing rumors this episode will have a wookie battle scene where Chewy helps out. I can't wait. But for all who don't ahve the fig yet, I highly recommend it.

I purchased one on ebay the other day and I am still waiting to get it. It is already opened, so that settles the issue for me.

It'll give your wookie ranks a little diversity. Mine is chilling in my Cantina, which is a huge cluster mess. I mean, the one-eyed green thing from MOnster's Inc. is in there saying hi for god's sake!
So's the Nazi Ghestapo Officer Toht from Indiana Jones. He's Seig Heiling a Trandoshan in a tan coat I made. Looks really stupid, but that was more the goal I guess.
Casting the unique wookie head should be something I attempt at some point because it is a definitely different sculpt.

I have never even heard of this figure. What movie was he in? I noticed that Brian's Toys has him as loose, but no carded. I have never heard of Rorworr. Weird! ???
-
Rorworr (also my namesake on other forums and formally here) is not in any movies. He is a character from the RPG Invasion of Theed game. Hasbro decided to make an exclusive figure to help sales I guess. So, I guess we would call him a modern EU figure.
He comes on a green POTJ minicard and is packed in the RPG box with dice, character sheets and info, the game rules and guides and an adventure (Invasion of Theed). I have a source that has 3 or 4 collecting dust on the shelves if ever anyone wants me to pick this up for them. I have already bought 3 games ($14 or $15) to get to the figure. He is just a Wookiee and I can't resist.

Ideal for wookiee troop builders.
potj sculptors made his face slight different from Chewie.

Just nabbed this guy off Ebay for about $5.50 shipped after applying some holiday Ebucks I earned. Happy to get him for such a low price - knocks another figure off my "to do list". :)
