Title: 12" or 4" customs?
Post by: Phrubruh on June 10, 2006, 10:44 PM
Here are a few customs I've been really impressed with. They look like 12" dolls using dragon bodies.

These are actually 4" tall figures using the Microman body! These were made by Steelbonnet over at CC. In my opinion, these things could pass for much larger dolls due to the great joints of the microman body.

What do you think? I know they arn't star wars but they do show off some great advanced customizing techniques I thought you might enjoy.

Those are quite impressive.  Those Microman bodies look like they give fabulous results when done right (and you, Phruby, are among those who do them right :) ).  However, I'm afraid the bulkiness of the clothing, especially on the first figure, gives away that it's 4" instead of 12"  Of course, that's only to be expected at this scale and by no means detracts from that guy's fine work.  :)
