I'm so glad that "Monkey Man" is still called "Monkey Man."  I was worried that Lucasfilm/Hasbro would start giving everyone "names" like they've done in the SW world.  I was happy with Hammerhead and Walrus Man...

Not only that, but the single carded Marion, and the Deluxe one seem to be the exact same figure.  Has Hasbro ever done that with SW?

I find it funny how the Indy with the Whipping Action has the best headsculpt out of all of the Indy figures that we've seen. Lucky for me, I think that Whipping Indy looks really cool and it may very well be the only Indy that I buy.

I wonder if the heads will transfer well?  I'd like to see Indy from the KOTCS w/ RPT get a new (younger) headsculpt, and have that act as a kitbash whip duel Indy from Raiders...  It's the right outfit, just needs the younger headsculpt.  The whipping figure doesn't look bad though, I agree on the headsculpt, it just needs a little more articulation really.

All the headsculpts on this line seem pretty sketch, unfortunately. :-\

I, for some reason, enjoy the action feature instead of articulation. Reminds me of lightsaber attack figures from various Star Wars lines, which I enjoyed as fun toys. I'm hoping to do a head swap between Whipping Indy and Deluxe Horse Indy, which are the only two Indy's I plan on getting. I wouldn't be suprised if I cannot do that, as Hasbro probably wants to keep oppurtunities open for selling collectors more Indy figures. (Now with more accurate head!)

Thanks for the heads up.  Nice to see that the figures are listed at the "normal" Star Wars price of $6.99 - so hopefully they won't be any more than that at retail.

ya know though, if you plan on buying a lot of them as soon as they hit, getting in an order with a good coupon like the current 10% off and free shipping one isn't too bad a deal actually.  Saves running around to stores trying to find figures that people probably have already picked up all the army builders and Indy's out of.

Ok, so I'm thinking that SA Indy, Sallah, and Belloq will be my only figures from RotLA. I want the German Motorbike Soldier though, which I'm scared to buy because I know it'll end up with me buying an army of German soldiers. I'm trying to stick to buying only main characters from the Indy line, but that Deluxe set with two Germans is really tempting...

Not only that, but the single carded Marion, and the Deluxe one seem to be the exact same figure.  Has Hasbro ever done that with SW?

Sharp eye, I went back and looked, and it looks like that set uses not only the basic Marion (with weathering), but also a repainted/new head Cairo Swordsman as well.

Yeah.  I think I'll pass on the single Marion figure, and maybe the single German.  Why buy one for 6.99 when you can get 2 for 10.99?

Oh, and yeah, I could order these from HTS, but then I wouldn't have the rush of walking into the store and seeing a big, big display, and loading up a cart!  I'm sure they will be up front in TRU like Spiderman and Transformers were last year...as was ROTS and AOTC.

I'm sure the Indy stuff will be up fron until June 26 when the Clone Wars stuff hits.  Expensive friggin' summer.
