I just received the Fury of Combat set in the mail.

I received my order from HTS today for the SDCC exclusives (Spider-Man, Thor, Captain America).  All figures look really nice, and though I'm an opener, the packaging is great.

There's an image of the armored version of Whiplash in the new Diamond Previews.  I'm kind of surprised that it hasn't been talked about so far.

The figure was shown at Comic Con, though I don't think a lot of people were talking about it then, either.

TRU.com has the Fury 4-pack in stock.

I ordered two sets (one for another collector) and got free shipping.

I picked up three of the four Target 2-packs today (skipped on Spidey/Goblin).  I wanted the new Wolverine, Punisher, and Black Panther, so I had to eat more superfluous Iron Man figures.  Wonderful.

Speaking of Whiplash ... I saw one (and two Fusion Armor Iron Mans) on the pegs today at a local Wal-Mart.

I think they're $6.96 at local Wal-Marts (same as Iron Man figures)

They're down to $6.99 at Targets around here.

I was able to get SDCC - Cap, Thor, and Spiderman (along with the Visionaries comic set) yesterday from HTS.

Same here.  The all went up just as I left the office, so a co-worker/fellow collector ordered them for us.  He said that it took him nearly 30 minutes to get his order to process.

The thing that sucks about the Classic Havok is that his headpiece is a separate piece attached to the center of his head (on front and back) by tiny pegs, and Hasbro's tight-as-crap packaging causes it to warp, which leads to it inevitably flopping to the side of his head upon removing him from the package.

I had the same problem with the one that I picked up.

The MU drought may be coming to an end.
A local Target had at least four cases of the Juggernaut wave on the pegs this morning.  I picked up the variants of Archangel and Havok.

Holy crap!  your store had pegs allocated to hold 4 cases!

It will be nice to find those variants you got - grats!

Yeah ... they actually added more pegs, but they still didn't have enough room for all of the figures.  Some of them were on the shelf below.  They also got in a ton of Spider-Man figures, which also added to the clutter.

I also got Iron Patriot, Iron Spider-Man, Winter Soldier, and Wrecker from a case that I split with a friend.
I still need to track down a Skrull, and I have absolutely no interest in Mary Jane.  At all.

I don't know how I can be so in love with all things Marvel, and have such an aversion to DC.  But as of right now I do not even plan to see Green Lantern.

On the collecting front, I have about 150 of the 3 3/4" Marvel figures, but zero DC figs.

I can't even really articulate why DC doesn't interest me.  It's just different.

It's exactly the same for me ... nearly word for word.

Wow, Blake Lively looks great as a brunette.

She would look great bald.

And by God, if none of us ever hear about one of Neal's erections ever again, we'll all go down as winners this offseason.

Sorry about that.  I have to know my audience.  I won't speak of it again.
