Curious about the name. Until I hear different, I want to believe it's in honor of Ned Beatty.

It will be confirmed if the droid squeals like a pig.   :o

Something is up with NED-B. They emphasized twice that he's just a loader droid and doesn't communicate. Yet clutching a hammer behind his back, presumably ready to bash the stormtrooper that confronted him, suggests he has a heightened sense of self preservation, an unlikely feature of a loader droid.

Someone mentioned the name drops. Saw a YouTube  vid surmising about the mother and son heading to Corellia (part2). Both characters are named in imdb. The boy is Corran and mom is Nyche. Corellia + Corran + Nyche = Corran Horn spotting?

Yes! I missed out on R3-B0017. Hesitated to hit eBay but was close to shelling out when the Christmas bundle gave me hope the same would happen with the Halloween droids.

I was expecting a lot from this series. So far so good.

I'm curious about this series. Hoping to see more info soon.

It's a relief that casting and such is steering this away from the Lite Brite crew. Still, something tugs at me -- I kinda want to see a back story that would make their appearance in BoBF more palatable.

This has to be the Vespa gang. Too prominent in BoBF and explains why they look out of place.

I totally forgot that Hasbro and Jazwares partnered almost a couple of years ago to re-introduce the MM car line. It makes sense they'd bring back Star Wars.

I figure Hasbro is the license holder.

Just got an email that Blonde will arrive tomorrow. Got the notices for the other two a few hours earlier and they'll arrive from 5/26 to 7/23. Basically, they still don't know.

Oh, well. Glad to see pre-orders are rolling in a little earlier or at least we're getting a window.

Those look nice. I only want the figures but some of those vehicles will probably be the only rendition we get of the ship.

Kenner Retro Collection / Re: 3rd Party Kenner Retro-Style Toys

I like Mighty Jabba's Collection YT vids.

He gets a lot of the files from Desert Octopus on Cults. Mainly retro style but some can pass for modern. And the files are inexpensive.  Anyone into printing should check it out. https://cults3d.com/en/users/DESERT-OCTOPUS/creations.

Hasbro will never make the Hutt twins. I might finally set up the printer I have sitting unopened for 1-1/2 years and have a go at it.

My favorite part is the upholstery nail taking the place of the harness buckle; creative if you're a 7-y.o., mind-numbing for $180 profesionally produced toy.

The more I think about it, the more I believe there will be a niche market and it will become a sought after item in the future.

Rob, I don’t want to alarm you but you might want to check out this review from an initial release about a month ago... (there might be an ad at first.) https://youtu.be/_zGQ0s69UKc?t=571

And if the announcement affirmed that TVC is going plastic-free, enough of the collecting community would have been stirred into a negative frenzy much like what happened a couple of weeks ago and taken the shine off of what should be strictly Star Wars.

Time and place for everything.

I'm still concerned about people swiping things from the packages

Stopped by the toy aisle at Target and saw the heads removed from the Marvel figure in a few of the open-package boxes.  >:(

Hope the new SW design has a cutout to see part of the figure but not big enough for fingers to pull out the head.

Could this change pave the way for a few build-a-fig waves (without jacking up the price) to entice sales? I can certainly hope.
