My team is off to an incredible 1 for 25 start at the plate.

Awesome.

You must have been looking at my team page.

Another question, have we ever considered expanding the bench by a spot or two?  I'm constantly feeling like I need another player or two but have nowhere to put them.  I know that's part of the challenge, but I'd be totally into a slightly expanded roster.

I'm for it too, as long as the vote is unanimous.  If it's not then we can institute it for next year.

Ah, okay, so this is a new thing because of Prince Fielder then... that's lame that they can't just do that if it's obvious where he'll be playing this season.

3B is not really new to Cabrera, he played there plenty in the minor leagues and for Florida.  I think the move to Detroit was when he really started at first everyday.

When I drafted Cabrera, I thought he'd be my 3B, but he's only got 1B designation.  Any idea if that's going to change?  Everything I read calls him the Tigers 3B, and say she took ground balls at 3rd, and that he got hit in the face fielding a ball at 3rd, etc...

He'll need to play 5 to 10 games there before Yahoo will give him the eligibility.

I've gotten a couple reports out west from friends too, so these do appear to be surfacing at retail once againl.

I saw 5 of them in Walmart in NY yesternight.

Unenthused.

Been workin' on a little stretchy-twisty-headed Reed Richards action.

Also Simon Williams with activated ionic energies:

I'm much more impressed with the Legends line this time around vs. when Hasbro first took over.  I'm also a bit surprised as to how these are mostly sold out everywhere I go.

Yeah almost everywhere I go, they have Klaw and blue Iron Man.  I've caught waves being put out fresh twice, once for Wave 1 and once for Wave 2 and got almost everything I wanted on those 2 occasions.

I have not signed up yet.  If you guys can't have a league if I sit out, I'll probably play.  But otherwise I'm just going to sit the year out.  I have too many hobbies right now.  And when I play, I go for the jugular and spend a lot of time on it and following box scores.

Thanks guys I appreciate it.

Sure I can pump out some copies I guess.  I need to do that for the stormie helmet and these legs and a couple other things.

The Johnny Storm is just a head swap custom.  I think the head came from the generic JOE trooper with all the weapons from ROC.  I saw it in the store and I was like, "sweet, a Torch head."  The body is from Reed Richards from the 3 pack.

Oh p.s. as I sit here I am working on a long stretchy twisted neck for the Reed 3 3/4" figures.  You guys might want that too if you're gonna buy some translucent legs for Sue.  I might be able to paint them for you too for the phasing effect.  I posted over in OPP forums though (where I am an exalted moderator haha) that I didn't articulate anything but the hip.  The pegs in the ankles and pins in the knees would completely mess up the translucent effect in the legs.  See the marvel legends showdown Sue for what I mean on this.  All of the joints showing inside the legs ruins the phasing effect in my artistic opinion:

Turn off your google safesearch and teh prons find you.

So, I took matters into my own hands here and made an Invisible Woman phasing into invisibility.  It's the same legs as the regular Sue Storm, molded and casted with clear acrylic resin:

And here she is with the rest of the Fantastic Four!

So does James Harrison get a bounty, or does he just do it for free?

How did they end up bringing back the Torch?  I stopped reading after he was left in the negative zone to die...

I guess SPOILER ALERT is appropriate.

So Torch stayed in the Negative Zone to seal the door so the Annihilation Wave wouldn't come through.  He killed a **** ton of the wave by going nova, twice, then Annihilus smacked him over the head with some mallet or something.  Torch died.  Then some creatures in the annihilation wave brought him back to life with some healing worms or something.  They used him as a gladiator in an arena for their amusement.  He died and was resurrected over and over.  Then one day they couldn't kill him and he broke out with the other Gladiatiors.  He beat Annihilus down and took the cosmic control rod.  Then he took command of the Annihilation Wave and showed up to help the Avengers and Fantastic Four fend off the Kree invasion of Earth.  Mehhh and that's pretty much where we are now.
