The label makes it look like this will be a separate set of some kind, either a box set through the website or through a convention. ;)

They're nice, but when people start hoping that they get down to $100, I have to say that they're quite simply way too expensive for what they are. I'd buy them if they were the same price as a kubrick/be@rbrick set, but otherwise it's an easy pass.

It seems that Lucasfilm and the license holders like to push certain characters. I, for one, can't get behind General Grievous as a villain yet he gets a lot of hype like they want us to be fans of him for some reason.
I get the same vibe from Jango. Good character, but he seems to get foisted on us at every turn. I'm a big fan of Shaak Ti but there are big droughts of nothing for her then when they do show her some love it's in a chase figure. Aayla, who I'm not as big of a fan of, gets a lot more product and I'm almost surprised she didn't get a chase figure...but she could be due for wave 10.

I'm just wondering whether the price will hold up as long as other items on this one?
This will be the 3rd Jango released and whilst one of everything collectors will be after a set I'm not so sure the casual collector would be after a set - they can get a Jango elsewhere, similalry I think a lot of collectors will also reason that they have a Jango so not go after this set. I'm also not sure that a young Boba is enough of a pull for those who are looking for reasons not to buy.

Right now, 3,129 yen is $32.00 US so 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 times over the initial cost. Bin's are now $139.99 to $159.00 us then add shipping anywhere from $12. to $22. it's a pricey. :-\

When were these packs set to release? I put an email out to my neighbor to see if her brothers ever heard back about them. I'd like to get them but I'm not going to go with eBay prices for them.

I sucked it up and bought one off knunt. I asked him awhile ago if he would be getting them and he said yes. When I saw them hit ebay I emailed him and he had 3 of them. Last I heard he had 1 left but that was last week.

I got it for $125 shipped. More than I wanted to pay but a whole lot less hassle then trying on ebay.

Just got my bill on the 2-pack. It ended up costing me $80 after the price, currency exchange, shipping, and then wire transfer back to Japan. Not quite the deal I was hoping for but its still a lot cheaper than eBay prices so I won't complain.

Got my AotC Jango/Boba box set in the mail today. Still a few things left on my shopping list, but it is nice to finally have this one in the collection. Thanks again for the tip, Dale! ;)

I just now noticed that this Jango from the 2-pack has a purple suit whereas the other Jangos have blue suits under all that silver armor. I picked up a spare Jango recently (thanks Doc!) to use the helmet for display with the 2-pack version, when I noticed it doesn't really match him like it does the other versions. I think it looks okay though. (Tip: the helmet pops off, it's not glued on, but there sure is a good airtight seal to fight while doing so. And, there's just a plain white kub head underneath. I was sort of hoping for a face. :D)

Yep... and it was even less than $120 thanks to one of those live.com bing.com (or whatever the heck MS is calling it these days) ebay/paypal rebates. 8)

It used to be called Microsoft Live Search, now I guess they call it "bing" instead (don't know why they rebranded it). Anyway, it doesn't always work (depends on when and where you buy), but when it does work you can save anywhere from 2% to 30% on an eBay w/Paypal purchase.
