Last night I found Leia in Boushh disguise on green card and lando calrissian on orange card. They're both kinda beat up but the figs are okay. Never had them before so I might keep them BUT if anyone wants to trade for them or needs a second (or third) they're up for sale if you want them. ;)

Awesome find! Brings you back in time, doesn't it (seeing those POTF2 figs on pegs)?
-
I found a GC Yak Face at HEB once. I din't buy him because he had a poor card. Ironically enough, I never owned one.
-
About a year ago I found a POTF2 Emeror on the pegs at K-Mart. About that same time my TRU was remodeling so they found some old POTF2 figures somewhere and had them on the pegs. I think it was all Ewok Celebration Leia

Heh. No.
One store around me still has medic droids on green cards at full retail. Strictly openers they've been moved around the store so often. Found some Episode I Padme Naberrie today and there's an omnipresent supply of Shmi around as well.
-
Some Rite Aid drugstores around here still had green cards and EU carded figures on the pegs when EP1 figures were nearing the end of their run. I always found that funny.
I heard someone on Rebelscum say he took his figures BACK to Wal Mart (years later) and they still scanned into the system, where he was able to return them. I'm wondering...you think maybe this was the case?
-
Worked for me, and NO, they didn't become peg warmers. They were gone within a week.
-
The Wal-Mart near me is undergoing remodelling. I guess they are also cleaning out their storage area, because over the last week some POTF2 figures have popped up on the shelf (nothing rare or HTF). However, I went in last night and cruised by the toys, and found a purple carded Dash Rendar! It had a sticker on the bubble for $4.79, but it rang up for $2.49. Score!

Not a bad score there Karma! Any odd find like that is a good one.
-
Sweet deal. I wonder how many other stores have stuff in storage that have sat there for years.
Well done. 8)
-
Thats pretty cool Karma. I missed most of those so for me to find any in the stores would be cool. I agree it makes you wonder what else it stored away in some of those other warehouses.

I walk down the aile, past the same old SAGA crap, and then at the bottom of the shelf is a MINT Dewback and Sandtrooper from POTF2 days... Of course I bought it... Very awesome snag, I think I'll leave it in the box since it's in such great shape. :-*
-
You do mean the 3 3/4" version, right? If so, nice find! ;D
-
Yep... the 3 3/4 version alright... Stamped 1997 on the box... :-*
-
cool

Nice find Brad! Was it the regular price, or did they have it discounted?
-
Great find Brad! 8)
Not something you would see everyday looking for Star Wars stuff! I would expect to find that in a specialty store.
-
a few months ago odd job had the ronto and jabba...
Hasbros definitely got a cleaning problem.
lol

I've heard a rumor that you can still return toys to Wal Mart (if they ever sold it).
I believe someone from RS did that a long time ago, and it caused an influx of POTJ figures in his area during the Saga timeframe.
Maybe a fellow collector liquidated? Or maybe they were just cleaning out the back room. :)
-
::) ...or maybe a collector was moving, decided he'd rather have the in-store credit, and returned it by taping a Saga TIE Bomber UPC to the back.
-
Wow it even showed up in the computer when you took it up? Pretty cool.

I actually found a luke skywalker in X wing gear at a walmart. The crazy thing was he was holding his helmet! As I examined the package I realized someone had carefully cut open that package removed the figure and swapped heads with a different Luke. The person then cut the helmet off of the head and put it in the figures arms, put everything back in the package and place it back on the shelfs! I swear this is true.Someone must be pretty bored.Needless to say I bought the figure. It was here in Las Vegas.

Nice Find!

Congrats!
-
Any other wierd walmart finds ? I never seem to find anything at walmart that i need >:(
-
Nice find! Yeah, every now and then I'll find an older figure pop up at Walmart or TRU. The ultimate find will be when someone finds an orginal POTF figure! :P

The last time I saw a POTF2 figure at a retail store was the CommTech Greedo and Han Solo that I saw at WM sometime around Christmas of 2003. Now that I think about it, I probably should have bought em :(.
-
The only Walmarts here n my neck of the woods were built in 2003 and 2005 so they don't have any old POTF2 stuff in their stockrooms, but there is a Rite Aid in Ridgefield Park that still has 4 POTF2 Ugnauts 2pks and 3 8-D8s hanging on the pegs priced at $8.99 each (if they were a buck or 2 I'd snag them myself :( ).
