To all:
Just curious, how many JDer's have been able to find this wave at retail. I have never seen Kit or the SA Clone at retail, and only saw Tin once.
What gives? Considering this is all that I am focusing on as I gave up my completist ways, I am a bit bummed out. I scoured the better part of me area today to not find one Wave 3 figure.
Again, just curious if the distribution of this wave is only poor in the greater L.A. area.

I saw it only a few times in the last few weeks, and the Clone Trooper only once. Unless there's a pile of these waiting to go to KB, Hasbro didn't give this wave (or line) a real chance.
-
I've seen this wave in stores twice. The first time I saw all three figures and nabbed two SA Clone Troopers as I had limited funds and thought those would be harder to find. I hoped to pick up Kit and Saesee rather easily...I was wrong! I didn't see this wave again for weeks, when I did I was lucky enough to pick them both up but there were no Clone Troopers to be found. I have not seen this wave since.
-
I have only seen this wave at Toy's R Us, they had lots too!!
-
Personally, I have not seen this wave at all around me. But, to be fair, I only get to the stores about once a week. My wife and I live at least 40 miles away from any Target, Wal-Mart, or TRU. We usually get somewhere once a week, and I'll check the pegs...but I have never seen any sign of this wave. I did see the Mace/Obi/Asajj wave awhile back at Wal-Mart, but ended up leaving them. I'd really like to find a couple of those SA clones though, hopefully Hasbro will be smart and recard/rerelease that figure......I don't think those would ever pegwarm.
-
Interesting...
I did manage to finally nab a few Tiin's from a tip from JediMac for $2.38 at Target. No sign of Kit or the SA Clone Trooper.
Funny that the first wave was produced in mass aboundance, then wave 2 a little harder to find, and now wave 3 is nowhere to be found. Sounds like poor sales in wave 1 shrunk the production of the subsequent waves of this lines figures.
I have an extra Tiin if anyone can't find one.

Tiin can still be found around here. Kit takes a bit of work, but you can find if need be. Clones disappear quickly. Those really need to be recarded in the Saga line.

I've actually seen less of wave 2 around here. I only spotted them all once, and a few, stray, lone figures from the wave (usually Obi-Wan) here and there. I've seen a lot more of wave 3, though only the Clonetrooper once (so happy I picked up two at the time). Who knows, in a few months they may all be wrming the pegs...well, except for the Clone Trooper I imagine.

Billy Ray,
I hope that is the case. You never know...I'm just hoping this is not a fiasco and these end up being real tough finds. Considering me and my boys and my nephew are focusing only on this line at the time.
Same thing with the animated figures, I hope they make these in the same quantities as the accessory sets as I know plenty of kids that would love to play with these. I know - I know - kids don't buy these.
Yeah right, I beg to differ. Several kids from my son's basketball team dig Star Wars. I asked one kid, "What is your favorite video game, he replied - "Star Wars." I had to give him a hug ;D

Well folks, this is our first offical RARE Figure of 2003.Not even eBay has a less than usual amount of them up for grabs.
-
I just hope the Clone Trooper is released again on a Saga Card...they would idiots not too (wait we are talking about Hasbro here) The others are gone too but they hung around well into 3 weeks at a time
-
I've seen this wave a total of one time, at an Oklahoma City Wal-Mart about a month ago. Bought my two Clone Troopers, left the Kits and Saesees, and haven't seen 'em again since.
Funny, the Wal-Mart near me (not the same store) just stocked a ton of the (I guess) Wave 2 figures--Mace, Obi-Wan, Durge, and Asajj.
For some reason, I have a feeling that this new Clone Trooper isn't just a one-and-done figure. I think we'll be seeing a lot of them, in all kinds of different configurations, over the next two or three years.
-
I hope so.
-
Never saw them, I picked them up on-line.
-
I only saw them at retail the week before Christmas. I am glad I picked up those figures when I did. I have not seen them since.
-
The remnants (Kit and Sae See) are floating around at WM's in my area... 2 off the top of my head got in rather large shipments of these figures actually.
The Clones were scooped up immediately. I got the very last (And the only one so far in my collection) Clone at the one WM I speak of... Unfortunately, that figure was packed evenly with Kit and Sae See... Stupid Hasbro.
Anyway, I hope the Clone sees a repack on another card, or better yet is offered in some sort of set similar to the 3-packs. Hell, this figure is what the 3-packs should've had in it in the first place. Would've cost less in the long-run most likely.
The Kit and Sae's are still around... Not nearly as abundant though. Wave 2 was the wave that hit and was never seen again hardly around my area. I got the last Assajj one Target had, and have never seen Durge... The Obi's and Mace's held off for a while, but in about a month were all gone it seemed.
Clone Wars seemed to sell amazingly well. I remember one WM opening tons of Wave 3 cases, putting them out, and when I got there all that was left was one Clone (the one I got) and rows of Kit and Sae....
I went to that same Wal-Mart then in about mid-December, a month after I was first there, and they were down to two pegs of Kit and Sae figures... They REALLY moved a lot of CW stuff. Much more than I'd thought they would, and much more than Saga seemed to move.
The Clone Wars cartoon was one of the first things I've seen to get kids back into the SW line, if even for a short period of time. Shudder to think what a full cartoon series could do for it? :)
-
I got my Kit and Tin but no SA trooper. Haven't seen em since.
-
Come to think of it, I haven't seen ANY CW figures (non-animated) at all in the last few weeks. Even the TRUs around here that had tons of them have dried up. Are they warming pegs anywhere now?

I'd love to hear about the identity thing, maybe it somewhere in Watto's. Any hoot, Clone Wars have all but dried up in the SF Valley as well. Targets I can understand as figures dropped down to $1.38, but Toys 'R' Us, I can't quite figure out.

I saw some Clone Wars series 3 figures, last night at Target. SA Clonetrooper supriseingly was a pegwarmer, and there were only about 3 or 4 Kit Fisto's and tons of Saesee Tiin. :o And alot of Animated figures but there were no Wave 2 of Durge, Dooku or Yoda or Troopers.

Nope, i already have one! ;)

I have an extra Tiin if anyone can't find one.

I know this is kinda an old thread, but would you still happen to have that extra Tiin? I have only seen pics of him online, and he looks so Bada$$.
-
Does anyone have a Kit Fisto from the CW line??? Only one I am missing. LMK please.
-
I never did find the Clone Wars Kit Fisto or Saesee Tin. Never saw them in stores, and never got them through trades. I was really hoping to have found these, but since I haven't gotten them yet I'm not stressing out anymore about them. If I don't get them... oh well.
-
As far as I could tell, Wave 3 never did show up anywhere around here. I've never seen any portion of that wave, and to be honest, Wave 2 came and went pretty quickly too. It is funny, I kind of thought these figures would end up being pegwarmers...but I don't see anything from this line hanging at any of the stores around here anymore. I didn't really end up collecting the line itself (with the exception of one SA Clone from a friend, and ARC, and the Yoda)...but I was surprised at how well it sold. Actually, most everything from Star Wars seems to be selling well around here anymore (with the slight exception of the Bail Organa wave at TRU).
-
The only Clone Wars figure left around here are the first wave of Animated figures, and a buttload of Obi-Wan and Mace at a lone K-Mart.
Retailers really didn't buy into the first wave too heavily. I got the set with the Clones from Wal-Mart, and only Osco got the regular packed versions. Only ever saw one Red ARC at Target, which I'm guessing was a return.
Wave 2 showed heavily at Wal-Mart and K-Mart, and Durge and Asajj disappeared quickly.
Wave 3 showed at a single Wal-mart in town, and only about two times. Only got two SA Clones. I think that Wal-Mart still has a Saesee Tiin there. If anyone needs it, I'll be glad to pick it up. Just LMK so I can check first.
-
Wave 2 showed at KMart with a ton of pegwarmers, if you need a Mace, Durge or Asajii LMK I probably could get you one...as for Wave 3 forget it...I did win wave 1 on Ebay Yoda, Obi, and Anakin for $10 with shipping...I traded in those figures for the 2 packs at Walmart...figured it was a much better deal
-
All I need is the clone and I have all the CW line! Anyone know where I can find it? Ebay is just crazy to get this figure... >:(
-
Wave 3 was on Target pegs here for a while actually. I grabbed Saesee, but passed on Kit until I found him loose at CIII.
Here's how the basic line went for me:
Anakin Skywalker, Saesee Tiin -- saw, bought
ARC Trooper -- saw, bought blue and red, bought another blue later on
Yoda, Obi-Wan, Mace, Kit -- saw, passed for the moment, bought elsewhere later
Durge -- can't recall if I found or not, but have the one from the Swoop Bike Deluxe
Asajj Ventress -- can't remember if I saw her or not, will get the improved one from the Battle Pack
SA Clone Trooper -- take a guess. ::) :(
-
I found wave 1 at Wally, wave 2 at Wally and Target, and wave 3 I found at both Wally and Target.
In my move I cannot find my Kit Fisto from this wave! Neither have I found my boxed Royal Starship from Ep. I! Man, I hate moving (there here, I just have to find the right box!).
-
I only ever found wave three once, at TRU. What a shame. This was one of the best waves for SW ever. Three great sculpts, and no one could find them. :(
