I recently got an e-mail to join the MR collector society.  One of the "perks" will be to get the Darth Maul mini-saber.

There's also various gift certificates that can be redeemed for other MR items, like $100 for a replica....might have to get one of the Full sized Obi-Wan sabers!   ;D

Too bad they don't have any of the AOTC ones left.  :-[

Actually dude the $100 coupon is for a studio scale replica (ex. Snowspeeder.)  I still have the flyer from C3 and I'm staring right at it.  You get 2 $50 coupons toward LE or SE sabers.

I'm hoping to use the two $50 coupons towards one purchase.  Hope they let me.

I also noticed as soon as I purchased my Collector's Society membership, there's a gold mini Obi-Wan saber for sale....pretty freakin' sweet!

Just checked my CS membership page w/ my coupons and it says you cannot combine coupons.

Ok, I might need the help of a HyperSpace member here.   I realize it's a wee tad hypocritical to ask for help, rather than joining, but I seldom see any benefit of the whole HS thing.

It turns out SWS.com may have a helmet exclusive really shortly  Sad to say, but I might have spent too much money on a special ops helmet :-[ so the chance to get a helmet at regular retail price is really quite appealing.

So, who'd like to volunteer ;)

I'm a member.  Just let me know when they are up and I'll order you one.

Thank you :-*

In case anyone is interested, Entertainment Earth has the Schock Trooper helmet available to order.

I'm not sure how that's working for them, but I expect they won't last terribly long.

Now, let's see what the SWS.com helmet is...

I want that Vader helmet bad.  I just can't justify the price tag right now.

Yeah, I want it too.  I just think the timing and the pricing are going to be too much.  I've nailed down the blue special ops helmet and if EE comes through, the shock trooper helmet.  Beth should be able to get the SWS.com exclusive as well.  No interest in the basic white.  But that Vader....

When does it come out?  If it's 2006 2nd quarter or later, I might be able to pull it off.  Prior to that, it's pretty iffy because of the other helmets and the Sideshow/GG stuff.

That's sweet you got those helmets.  They are awesome looking.  I still have my pics of them from C3.  I keep reading Vader is supposed to come out late this year.  I'd love to get one, but it's all dependant on having a grand to throw out for one.

 :-\

This year's not good.  Sideshow Vader later this year.  Of course if I can that Vader there'd be no need for the Ben and that would free up just about enough cash for the Vader MR helmet...

I want to get that Gentle Giant Vader, but may just settle for the cheaper (and just as cool) new Kotobukiya Vader.

I'd like the Vader helmet but I've pretty much spent my limit on props this year from MR.  I've always benn under the impression that Vader orders will be taken before the year ends but that doesn't necessarily mean they will SHIP it this year.

MR is having a sale at Comic Con, according to their blog:

Star Wars:
Princess Leia Blaster LE $250 ($149 savings)
Princess Leia Blaster SE $350 ($149 savings)
Rebel Blaster $350 ($99 savings)
Stormtrooper Blaster $400 ($99 savings)

Non-SW:
Aliens Motion Tracker $300 ($99 savings)
Predator Spear $200 ($149 savings)
Star Trek Disruptor $250 ($49 savings)
Cinderella's Glass Slipper $250 ($49 savings)
Mouseketeer Ears $100 ($25 savings)

I'd love to get my hands on the Stormtrooper blaster, but even at that reduced price, it's still to much for my pocketbook.   :'(
