Ha.  I actually saw that car in person here in L.A. at some point.  It was at Citiwalk at Universal Studios, on display during either the AOTC or TPM premiere.  Don't recall which one now.  The R2 is definitely a new addition to it.

Pretty funny geek mobile to be sure...  I like the Holographic Obi-Wan dashboard accessory there.

Very interesting to see that the Playmates' prototype was VERY similar to what we now have as the Hasbro unleashed line...
