Ha.  I actually saw that car in person here in L.A. at some point.  It was at Citiwalk at Universal Studios, on display during either the AOTC or TPM premiere.  Don't recall which one now.  The R2 is definitely a new addition to it.

Pretty funny geek mobile to be sure...  I like the Holographic Obi-Wan dashboard accessory there.   :P

Psst....

Here's some more info on that guy.  He used to be a prop builder for Star Trek and a toy designer for Mattel and Playmates.  Read the article below to learn a little bit more about this guy and some of the other SW things he's had a chance to do:

Very interesting to see that the Playmates' prototype was VERY similar to what we now have as the Hasbro unleashed line...

It's pretty funny how often this car comes up.  It's been all over the SW Community and then some appearing on all sorts of sites.

Pretty good for a "dork" :)
