The Original Trilogy / Re: A New Hope on TBS this week
« on: August 6, 2003, 09:54 PM »
Im finnaly sitting my grandparents to sit down and watch it, sunday, so they understand why I devote so much time, and conversations into Star Wars. They get the deal with Jurassic Park, but not Star Wars. Granted my grandmother is a Trekkie (she went to 2 conventions in NYC, and thats 2 more conventions that Ive ever been too for anything movie related) and my grandfather is a fan of war flicks, so maybe I will spark their intrests. :)

The Original Trilogy / Re: Next question, light saber colors
« on: August 6, 2003, 09:51 PM »
Heres how it works:

Sith make synthetic crystals for their sabers by sitting in front of a furnace, and using the Dark Side of the force to streingthen them.

Or some related stuff I read in a book about Maul at one point...

Sorry there Kevin, Michael would tear Jason's wimp arse apart. There is no contest, you can't take Michael down. Period. :D

No, Chris, I think your wrong. I think Jason would mop the floor with Michael, but thats just me. Plus there would be no cause for a story between them...there is no link between them...

And I do like Mike...

Wow, A fellow saber builder!

I used www.wordsmithdigital/saber/ as a guide, and although I dont have any pics because my sabers are now WIP, aside from the one I gave away.

Very cool.

There is no doubt in my mind there will be NO real winner. Somthing tells me that the damned meddling kids will end up offing both of them, just when one is about to deliver a victory blow to the other...Meh....If anyone had to win, I would Pick Jason Voorheese...He is THE BEST slasher film killer, period. He has like, the highest body count going.... :-*

I've heard that the Piermont Pier, just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge is a pretty good spot, too.  Ever gone for Stripers there?

No such luck. Down by the city sorta eh?

Ive mostly gone out, and once we managed to go under the twin bridges to a spot to fish there.

We usualy cast out from a boat, with a guide by the name of Don Wood, and we go out from the Henry Hudson park landing. Its great fishing from shore there as well!

Kevin

NEVER...EVER FISH the COEYMANS LANDING....Baaaad steel wires are all down in there from when they put in and took out docks...I hooked the biggest Catfish of my life, and it rolled my line around the chord and we had to cut it...
