Yeah, PK droids are TINY. They'd make a great packin even if not articulated. Though I'd like at least 5 POA with them at least (shoulders, legs, head)

Likely we won't see these two or three to a card either, so as a pack-in to a regular figure, they'd do nicely.

I agree with that totally. Pack-in they need be and normal articulation a must.

Tey How w/Chair and PK Droid woud be AWESOME, and we certainly wouldnt have to worry about another pegwarming Neimoidian. Now I know to vote for this next year.

That would be a cool figure with all the stuff, but I don't see that happening. Most likely if they do this one it will be like the Lava Miner with no platform to mine lava from.

I was wondering if anyone notice what looks like a PK Droid (might be a Pit Droid) with a Eopie in tow on Tatooine in E-1? That would make a neat set for that Droid if it is a PK Droid. I guess that is just wishful thinking though, because I don't see that happening for a long time if ever.

I would have to agree with OCB and Jesse on the figures from E-1 though. Some would be neat to have, but I could live without them. Anything they do needs to have SA articulation. I don't want any more half new/old figures like the Endor Trooper.

I would hate to pay $7+ for a little PK Droid. It would make more sence to make it a pack-in with Tey How or some other Neimoidian IMO. Aren't these PK Droids smaller than the Pit Droid? I thought they were only about knee high as the Pit Droids are about waist high. I could be wrong.

You guys need some Museum Wax. I picked some up last year at an art supply store.

Yah, I need some of that museum putty but its a little too late to order.  :-[

I think I have seen that stuff at Michaels before. Worth the look in any case if you want to go that route.

Fritz,

Great work and thanks for sharing your visual "How-TO" guide. It's always cool to see how others go about putting together their work.

One question, I have been wanting to ask for a very long time, but always forget when I post a reply. What is that wall section you use in some of your pictures from? It has all the gun shells and looks beat up. I really like it and need to find something like it for myself.

Thanks

Wow brent that is an awesome little setup. very simple but outstanding I may try that myself..

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have loved damn near everything Ive sen in this thread, I want to congratulate you all on some of the most excellent work I have ever seen.

This diorama is going to kick major ass. I cant wait to see the pics of it all put together.

I have to concur with what Darth Ennis stated. This is going to be an awesome sight to see. I wish I could go just to see this in person. We had and have the best working on this project. I think everyone needs to give themselves a pat on the back for the great work and Master_Phruby needs a round of applause for rounding us all together. I want to thank him for giving me the chance to add something. I really enjoyed working on this project. Thanks Paul.

As for the gold Epcot ball, there was a story about when Disney was planning a second theme park for Disneyland. It was going to be named Westcot and was going to have a giant golden version of Spaceship Earth. Some say it was going to house a version of the Living Seas. Harley's globe reminds me of preproduction pictures of this ball. Of course, Disney never built Westcot but gave us DCA instead.  :'(

Cool, I never knew that. I guess you learn something new every day as they say ;).

We have our gold Epcot ball!!!

I was thinking the same thing when I had it painted silver. I bet if you cut it open, it would be like one of those earth core models, on how many different colors I gave it. I'm glad the globe made it intact though. I was fearing the legs would break and kept second guessing myself for glueing them in place, but all looks good.

As for Sarge, he hasn't returned any e-mails sense the 16th of Apirl. I hope everything is okay with him and his family.

Modern Trading / Limited Time Trade List TSC & TAC Stuff
« on: May 2, 2007, 07:38 PM »
This list is for a limited time. Trying to get some of the TAC figures I will most likely never see. I have multiples of most on this list. Will also consider trading for items from my normal trade list (link here).

I'm also looking for someone that would be able to get 2 sets of C4 exclusives (Luke & Droids), which have for trade a set of Order 66 and/or Treachery on Saleucami Battle pack, if anyone is interested.

Thanks for looking

I like the bright green myself, but I would suggest weathering the engines and other hardware on it. More so as if a teen or young man is owner and keeps the finish looking good, but the mechanics would be dated. Think 50s street rod, where the engine is beefed and the car looks good (finish wise), but the wheels are stock and the interior is shot. Also would give it a weather wash just to age it a bit. If you remember Organa's speeder looked used and he could afford a gold plated one. Just some ideas.

Fritz,

Have some question for you.

Where did the hands for you X-Flies alien come from? Also what did you use for his life-support unit? This guy looks cool.

On Phef a Mearkatian, where did you get the Schleich mercat? Target has some animals I was looking at near the Knights & Dragons stuff. I don't remember who made them, but I might have to get me a few and see what I can come up with. That mercat works really well, great job.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 2007 Saga Legends
« on: April 22, 2007, 02:48 AM »
I have a question on the coins? I know this is in here somewhere, but there are many posts to go through.

They are not character related, right? I seen the pictures on RS, but are each figure going to have a different coin? Or are there only going to be 6 different (1 for each movie)?

I'm interested do to I can see me passing on many of these figures, but would like the coins. Thanks for any information.

Chewie,
Great work, and I really like the droids you made for it. That one with multiple legs looks simple, but is really cool looking. If it just a FX-7 used? Do you have enough droid parts? I have a few more if you need them, like some of those mouse droids, and a interrorgation droid if they can help. Oh and a few of those C-3PO piles from the Bespin Chewbacca. I can shoot them to you or just send them with the globe. Let me know.

Brent,
I don't see any problems with the buildings. If you see problems with the tape you used, I think I see what you are talking about, but it gives them character over something that would be perfect. I really like that add ons you used.

I wish I could see this in person. Once complete, everything is going to be awesome.

jedistyle,
If you add some smoke stacks to the top you could make it a fast food type place. Add a grille in the back, as most food to places would be more permanent than some others selling odds and ends.
