TRU is my area restocked with Wave 3 today.  Was kind of surprised.

Huge thanks to JohnH on the K-Mart tip.  I stopped there tonight just because of your post and found wave 3.  Picked up Zartan, Firefly, Stalker and Shipwreck.

Already had a red Ninja from a previous find so I left the one I found tonight.  Also left a Cobra Officer, Snake Eyes v2 and Storm Shadow v2.

Now I just need to find wave 2 Beachhead and Buzzer and maybe the Cobra Trooper.  I've already passed on Lady Jaye and Serpentor a couple times...they just aren't appealing to me.

Looks like Stalker's crotch has been fixed.  I sure hope they don't go back and fix every figure because I just don't really feel like buying everything over again with corrected crotches..

Why they just didn't do this from the beginning is beyond me.  It worked well for the vintage figs, so why change it?

Glad I could help.  :)

Let me know if you want me to pick these up for you.  I feel very confident I'll see them some time over the next day or two.  Just shoot me a PM if you want me to.

Wave 3 is in my Pile o' Loot at BBTS. I'd ship them if I didn't empty it out last week. But at least I have some. Now I need to get my hands on a carded Stalker, Shipwreck, Firefly, and Zartan.  :)

16bit.com is reporting that EE has the listings for Wave 3 of the Comic Packs, and they sound pretty good:

Battle-Damaged Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes
Tomax and Xamot
Crimson Guard and Officer
Ace and Wild Weasel

YAY!!  More Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes figures!!   ::)

The rest of the wave looks extremely nice though.  Can't wait for Tomax and Xamont.

YoJoe is taking a "first look" at the 2008 figures, starting with Flash.

Ace and Wild Weasel

I'll bet it's this issue that comes with them:

One of my all-time favorite GI Joe issues and the one most often re-created by me and my friend Dan as I chased his Skystriker around the neighborhood with my Rattler...  :D

Does that mean that you might actually pick up that set Jeff?  Great line here and I think you're really missing out....

Man, that's a great cover.  I've debated endlessly within myself about whether or not I should pick up some old Joe comics, but the last thing I need to do is open another can o' worms.  :)

Couldn't care less about another Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow, and I'll already have a Crimson Guard, but the other two packs sound great.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but isn't that the issue where Battle Force 2000 (with the exception of Dodger) gets obliterated in Trucial Abysma?

This line is all kinds of awesome.  I'm so glad I've kept going with it after almost giving up.  ;D

As I was looking at my Star Wars collection last night that is overfilling my collection room, I realized that there is no way that I can also collect GI JOE stuff, especially considering how much I'm wanting to be able to get quite a bit of Indy stuff next year.... really hard to do since I really do like the Joe stuff, but it looks like I'm going to stop this Joe habit before it gets out of control when the vehicles and comic packs start being released.
