Oh yeah, that was good stuff. 

As much as I hated the design when I first saw it on Hyperspace, I'd like a couple of those really sleek-looking "chick" robots. I'd really like it if each senator came with their own protocol droid (just like I'd like it if each pilot came with their corresponding astromech).

Alot of the human senators are pretty damn lame, but I still want them.

Well, I broke down and bought 2 of these (big) bad boys. Yeah, they're ******* expensive, and there's no justification for Target charging that much. However, it was easier for me to justify to myself, since I don't buy 2 of everything to have loose and carded. Plus, I don't buy useless repacks.

And my collection just feels more complete with this fighter. It really does look excellent.

Well, I take the subway to and from work, and most of the time I go out. I drive my car when I'm heading out of the city, but I have a Jetta, so it doesn't suck down much gas at all...except when I run the AC, but even then its not bad.

When I started this thread, almost a year ago, it was really meant to be more about the figures than the packaging. I liked the high quality of the VOTC figures, and I wanted to see that quality passed on to all figures. I certainly wouldn't care for or need Jar Jar on a vintage-style cardback, especially since all my cardbacks end up in the trash. But I would like to see Jango, Maul, Greivous, etc. redone as high-quality, super articulated VOTC-ish figures. That was the original point of the thread.

Of course, this was before the ROTS figures, where we got SA figures as almost a standard.
