Paul, I was hoping for a new Endor Rebel too.  Sorely needed (as are all SA Rebel figures really), and I had hope...  I didn't have a LOT of hope though and I figured it was inevitably going to be a Saga or POTF2 trooper repainted.  I don't even think we'd have gotten a kitbash out of them on that one.

I'm with you on this, in fact, there is no better candidate for an Evolutions set in the future than the Rebel trooper, spanning the Tantive IV, Hoth, and Endor.  That one would be a slam dunk.

One jackoff stood there and removed all the Utapau's and Scorch's from the 6 cases.

An employee jackoff or a customer jackoff?

A Customer.   The thing that sucks is that they employee let him take all the Clones out of the 6 boxes.  The employee should of only stocked 3 cases and left the other 3 complete for the back.  This is another problem where someone making miniumum wage could give to squats.

I hear you.  Especially if they don't know Star Wars at all, they really don't care then.  I think they make a little more than minimum wage though, maybe as much as $10/hour actually.  In the store reports I saw someone on the boards here named Holographic Elvis who works at Target, he'd know.

I'll probably be ripped for saying this, but I don't really care.   I really don't see the need for more than two of any figure, but I understand some people are into army building.  Anyone who needs more than 10 of any figure has problems.  You have an obsessive/compulsive disease and need to seek professional help.  You are taking figures away from others to fill some void in your life IMO.  Go talk to a doctor.  You are no better than a scalper.  Seek help.  These toys will not give you the love your mommy and daddy didn't.

Well, I need more than 10 of some figures.  I do not have problems.  Consider a stormtrooper for a moment.  Say you have a Tantive IV diorama where they are fighting Rebel Fleet Troopers and you have 10 there, then a Bespin diorama for Han's freezing and have 8 there, then a Battle of Endor diorama and have 12 there, and a Death Star diorama for the shuttle landing and have 30 there.  That's 60 stormies, all displayed nicely in cool dios.

So that's 6 times the maximum limit that I'm allowed to have before someone like yourself comes along and passes judgement on me and tells me I need a doctor, my parents don't love me, and I have problems.

If you ask me, if you care how many and what type of action figures I own, you should go get yourself one of those appointments with a medical professional that you refer to, or better yet, go get yourself a life.

I still think that Detroit's the favorite to come out of the East, but a lot can happen in a seven game series.

I have a different perspective on a 7 game series.  I think in a longer series like that, the law of probability has more time to take effect, and that the better team is more likely to win.  I think stranger things happen in a short series, where an off game carries a much heavier weight.  In the long run, more predictable things happen.

In other words, I'm going to go on record right now to say that as long as Ben and Rasheed Wallace, Billups, and Rip are healthy, the Piston are a lock to win the East.

Yeah, rough year for the Wolves...and KG.  It is obviously starting to wear on him now, and its sad to me seeing such a great player, who is still playing his heart out, being on such a crappy team.  It will be interesting to see what happens this summer, if he stays or is traded, or if he wants to be.

Yeah the Wolves are going absolutely nowhere.  They should be looking to rebuild.  Garnett is never going to win a championship with the Timberwolves, and if they deal him they can get a lot of draft picks and young players for him.

I saw on ESPN that its possible that Amare Stoudemire will make his season debut tonight.  Hopefully he's not coming back too soon, but if they can mesh him into the lineup without too many problems, they could definitely be a contender.  I think its amazing that Nash and co. have played up to the level they have this year without Amare.  I guess, with the Wolves struggling and likely not making the playoffs, go Suns :).

The Suns have been amazing in the abscence of Amare, primarily due to the play of Boris Diaw and Raja Bell who have been phenomenal.  With Nash and Marion, and now Amare back, I don't see any reason why the Suns won't go deep into the playoffs.  Will they be better than Dallas or San Antonio?  Unlikely.  Last year the Suns offense was top notch, but on the defensive side of the court they fell a little short.  Still and all, I wouldn't be totally shocked to see Detroit vs. Phoenix in the Finals, but I think we're a little more likely to see San Antonio or Dallas vs. Detroit.

Any definitive word on whether the GL Stormie is the CT version, or the VOTC version?

Man, I am so glad I am a loose collector... I guess if I come across any of these I can pick some up to help friends out who need them... but I still think these are going to push the hobby in the wrong direction.

 :P

This reminds me of when Topps baseball cards introduced the "gold" variants in 1992.  Say Barry Bonds had 50,000 cards produced, they'd make say 2,000 of them have a stupid gold leaf stripe on it.  This Star Wars packaging variant reminds me of that.

That would make a great avatar...  ;D

I don't know guys, the head on that biker scout is a little small and out of scale.  I think that helmet should be about 25% bigger.  I'm not too nuts about it.

Why would you leave the house in the first place?

Show me a hot chick, and I'll show you a guy who's tired of sleeping with her.

Toys R Us is well, Toys R Us.

Tons of falcons and a few Carkoon figures...

Yeah, that place has been a Millenium Falcon Warehouse since 1995 with no break.

My TRU actually just expanded the SW section from 3 pegs to 12 in the new planogram, which shocked the hell out of me.  Guess they'll be receiving something soon.  That store is so bad at what they do, it's nothing close to funny.

I'll give a thunbs up for the Fire Speeder pilot. I openedone last night and have to say I'm impressed, but my question is, why give so much detail and articulation to a minor BG character? Cody could have been done in this quality in stead.

Exactly, and exactly.  I really think at $6.99, every figure should have 14 points.  How they pick and choose which figures, and which joints get articulated is beyond me.  It makes no sense of any kind.

...sub-line hologram pack-ins, commtech chips, Freezeframes, Force Files, or other little gimmicks cost in the past then of course.  Give me less crud like this, and instead put knee joints on figures that could use it to make them better toys...

With the thought of that happening, I think I may have just felt some movement.
