After hearing news on both super articulated versions of Mace Windu and Qui-Gon Jinn, what are the chances of seeing a super articulated version of Luke Skywalker in his Death Star II costume? Hasbro said no comments on this question previous to comic con and the toyfare poll, since Luke was among the top 25, and at comic con hasbro made a comment about Luke's Death Star II belt being more detailed and hasbro wanting to do this figure. How soon will we see this version of this badly wanted character, you'd make many fan's happy. Also, what about SA versions of Obi-Wan, both TPM and AOTC?

When is Hasbro finally going to make a Super Articulated Luke Skywalker Death Star II figure?

Are they aware of the backlash the 2003 Throne Room Duel Luke Skywalker figure recieved?

One figure/character that I think keeps getting overlooked is a nice Endor Leia, complete w/ removable helmet and a good poncho, and of course SA treatment.

It's fun to speculate until we hear for sure. Which report is true, given the sources, I would say that both have some truth and some rumor.

The thing that worries me the most about TUBHC is the glaring lack of the word Vintage. It seem to open up the dreaded possibility of PT figs as part of the collection.

But think about it this way, OT figures that never saw the light of day in the Vintage era. Stormtrooper Han, DS Duel Luke, GM Tarkin, etc. Figures that would be awesome on those type cardbacks and SA! 

I like the way you think about the railing.  I would love to see them start adding in more diorama accessories to regular figures as well as deluxes.

 

Would def. make for a sweet diorama peice. Have one half come with the Luke and Vader, and the other peices with the Emperor and his throne room chair.

I'm on the same page as you all with the Luke. This figure has spiked some major curiosity as to how it's going to be handled, so I eagarly await an image.

like Ive stated everywhere, Ill be tied over for a while if its a retooled torso (new dsII sculpt) and new arms with ball joints, so he can hold the saber with two hands in attack position and have his binders on. If hasbro stays true to this figures title, itll be the DSII uniform. If they cop out, itll be a rehash Jabba's Luke with painted black hand.
