Not really many army builders either, so I'm not burning through money for thesewow thats true.
I agree there was lots of leaked photo's.
Also, a lot of people (such as myself) have no recollection of this from the films and are still waiting for it to show up in the animated series. (other than as a minor background detail). There's just no "wow factor" in terms of anticipation.
I know I'm in a minority of 1 on this, but I think there could have been a lot more hype generated from unveiling a new "BIG" TCW vehicle. You know, like the Twilight.
Which of the following Clone Wars vehicles would you most like to see added to the 3 3/4" line up?http://www.rebelscum.com/scumpoll/p989.asp?v=1&k=
Huh, I just realized that the warthog in the above picture is NOT the final product. It looks like it's a mock-up made of foam or balsa wood parts. Look at the texturing and I noticed a holding pin in the second picture where the windshield meets the fender.yer i have to agree
Don't get me wrong, this is a great piece, but since it's not the final product, I wonder if McF brought this along to gauge interest in a Warthog.i wonder as well.
That warthog does look like an excellent vehicle. I like the looks of all the figs and vehicles they've shown. Still, I can't help but wish that these were in the 3.75-4" range so they'd match up with the SW and Joe figures.True but im happy that they reduced the size down to 5'' from like 8'' or 9''the old bungie joyride ones that i have cause vehicles really wouldn't be possible for that size.
E...
I gotta say, I'm shocked so few are talking about this item...I have to agree apart from the AT-AT the swamp speeder is like the second flagship of the small line up that was.
The seatbelt straps are fantastici concur - link
A very telling question was posed to the Hasbro brand representatives during the Q&A. They were asked "Do you make toys, or do you make collectibles?" Every brand rep from Marvel, GI Joe, Transformers and Star Wars said universally "We make toys". If you want a collectible that's geared towards an incredibly detailed level of accuracy, you should probably look to companies like EFX, Sideshow or Gentle Giant.
