Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Disney Marvel Cinematic Universe

The simplest answer to releasing new movies is that there are only two on the schedule before Avengers 4.  Ant Man and the Wasp is next, which I believe takes place before the events of Infinity War.  After that is Captain Marvel, which will be set in the 90's.  All future movies will be released after Avenger's 4, so the next Avengers movie will set the table for what comes next.
Exactly.  Marvel has announced that features for GotG and Spidey are in the works.  One would also have to imagine that a Black Panther sequel is slated as well after the mega success of the last film.

I think once A4 releases that Marvel will detail what's next on their slate.

Was there a TLJ droid pack?

I can only imagine what the world would have been like if Twitter existed in 1990s -
- "Lucasfilm, stop introducing all these lame new characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn and Mara Jade and give us a new Han and Lando book!!!"
- "KOTOR?  Try NOGAF! LOL.  Why are you wasting time on a stupid video game involving a bunch of made up characters when you could make a Luke Skywalker video game instead?
- "A whole Marvel comics series about Jedi who existed thousands of years before ANH?  WTF - we want more Luke comics!"

You missed the same crybaby bitching that something is too derivative after bitching something was too original.  Or does that only work in reverse for these children?

Same deal in Pittsburgh.  Very full shelves, and everything marked 10-15% off.  Unchanged from how it was the first weekend I went there.
Yet they pay people to stand by the road holding a sign that says up to 40% off.

The past hero series vehicles are really excellent if you give them the chance.  The X-Wing from RO had a ton of detail and the scaling is pretty nice.  They aren’t for interacting with the figures, but these are nice for kids that love vehicles.

I got Han, Lando, Range Trooper, Tarkin, Death Star Trooper and Jawa all for $5 each today!

I also found the 6”scale porgs and 4-LOM. Saw the black series Vader helmet.

Didn't he set the records for Pac-Man and Donkey Kong back in the 80s? If so, he couldn't have used MAME to set those scores, its first release was in 97
He set the Pac-Man score live at Fun Spot in NH.  With Pac-Man, there is a defined perfect game.  With DK, the game only ends when the memory crashes and guys have been coaxing more and more points out of the game for years.

In the (excellent)film The King of Kong, Mitchell is shown offering a score that was sent in on a tape and the documentary questions the authenticity of this score.

Maybe go smaller.  An updated Skiff?  How cool would a TFA replacement dish for the BMF be?  Or maybe go with the AT-M6?

I think we will be disappointed when the next HasLab is not Hasbro.

And frankly, ANY sale with LEGO is usually an event since it almost never goes on sale.

5% is available every day with Target.  These are just casual bargain hunters.  LOL.

For those who know how to shop at Target stores and have a red card?  Yes. But I don’t think everyone is hip to that.
Clearly since the Legos were wiped out at 5%.

I stopped by one of our TRU's yesterday and it was BONKERS at 10% off.  Half of the Lego section was empty at 5% off.  By the time it hits 30% there will be nothing of value left.

Because I can't sleep (or breathe, or hear, or...) 4502 as of the moment. At this rate, it will reach goal Saturday night.
Weird. 2:01 and it is now at 4501...

I've never really understood trying to launch toys so far ahead of a movie.  I assume they're trying to drive interest in the movie, but with the strict street dates you would think they would aim for something like 10 days before the movie comes out.

I get it that in the Christmas season you'll want your stuff out by Thanksgiving, but for Solo I would aim for a week or two early at most.

Exactly.  That way a kid sees the film and then pesters the parent for a toy from said film.
