So if they don't want Shia to be tied down with a love interest - why are they looking for a replacement for Fox ?  Goofy interweb..

That's what I'm talking about!!

Am I the only one who really can't stand Fox to begin with?  I won't miss her.

After she trashed the film in an interview I can see why Bay wouldn't want her back for another one.  And honestly, if you get hired to do a film like Transformers where it's almost all action, very little acting skill called for and you know it's going to make a **** ton of money, why would you quit?  That does not make sense.  I'm always trying to get paid more to do less.

If they would give the multi-national special forces group a bigger role, I'd go see it several times (and in my mind, they are the GI Joe team that the Joe movie failed at creating)

I saw TF2 for the first time last night...  Aside from Eye Candy, Megan Fox adds little to the story in my opinion (as did the comic relief "twins").

I remember reading somewhere (at the time of the original TF movie release) that there is one thing many give Michael Bay credit for - he may make mindless action movies, but he makes the armed forces look pretty awesome.  I actually re-watched GI Joe: Rise of Cobra recently, and sort of feel the same way.  Although I like portions of the movie, it really didn't hold up as well for me either - and honestly, I like the TF movies better I think.  It just seems like they could have done a lot more than they did with Joe - but this is a Transformers thread...so anyways.  I did see that the first TF movie is premiering on ABC next Wednesday night (opposite the American Idol finale I believe) if anyone is interested.

How about more robots beating the piss out of Meghan Fox?

I'd pay $9 for that.

Now hopefully her pron career takes off.

My first comment to a friend at work about this was "Countdown to 'I'm posing for Playboy to revitalize my non-existent movie career' moment starting...NOW." :)

(That said, I thought "Jennifer's Body" was good)
