The only game not separated by 2 points or less right now is Zod vs. Brent where Brent is up by 15 points.

We have 5 squeakers in progress.

Really no need to post anything else but that right now, except most games are just heading into the 4th quarter, and we'll see which way the wind blows and who wins these 5 tight ones.

Personally, I can't believe I'm still in it with just my kicker and Hasselbeck against 5 of Ryan's players.  Chris Brown went down with some nerve injury in the first half, so Ryan has 2 1/2 more players going than I do right now.  Chances are he'll pull it off, it'll be a big upset if I take this one now.

Damn you Ryan!!  Larry Fitzgerald just kicked me back in the nuts for what Chambers did, 34 yard TD catch.

You got me this week.  Good game.

Dressel and Zod...Fantasy Geniuses

Yeah he's basically gonna split with Crockett, and in Jordan's best season I think he ran for 600 yards with 2 scores.

Lamont Jordan is a great pick - if it's the 7th round.

Give him praise, not hate.  At least he did better than LaMont Jordan this time.
 :o

I think playing fantasy football one time, finishing 3rd out of 14 teams, and thinking LaMont Jordan sucks can all coexist at one time.  Too much fun.

 :)

In contrast to last year, looking up and down these team lists so far, it is remarkably even so far.  I mean, once you cast aside that LaMont Jordan pick which was just an abomination.  But aside from that, the playing field looks relatively level.

Yeah, but Jordan has been in the league for 4 years, played all but 2 games, and his career year, his best foot forward so far, has been 479 yards and 2 TDs.

Scott - you were right, so far.  Today was the best day of LaMont Jordan's career, by far.  He was the best 3rd round pick of the draft, and has put up 1st or 2nd round production.

As for this comment though, both Rob and I have fantasy championships.  You have zero.  So hold your fire on the "genius" front.

Meanwhile, a miracle occured.  Somehow, after being declared "out" by Yahoo, and Terry Bradshaw, Randy Moss managed to score a touchdown from the bench.

He really is an amazing receiver to be able to do that.

Yeah, I know it wouldn't have been enough to mean a victory today.  I wasn't expecting a win without Joey Galloway, Fred Taylor or Randy Moss in my lineup.

Oh yeah, and Ricky Williams is sucking up the joint - sure we probably knew that was going to happen, but I was hoping he could at least game plus 1 yard for the game.

Take comfort in the fact that Ricky Williams had as good of a day as LaDainian Tomlinson.  It may be the last time.
