Why is it an issue for Corran to have the same hilt as Luke? The Luke saber is from ANH & ESB, right? The one that was Anakin's, right? Corran was also a Jedi, in one of the books he found what was his grandfather's (IIRC) saber in a jedi museum, or was it some sort of trophy room that Palpatine had... In any case, Corran's saber could have been a similar vintage to Luke's so its no inconceivable that they would have similar designs, is it? Now that's an long justification, for sure, but I can't recall too many visuals of Corran and his saber, so I'm willing to give Hasbro a pass on that.
Other than that, I'm right with you on the rest of the figures. Some are nice, but none are individually, or even collectively, worth the pricing. I think Hasbro and Walmart really messed up. Walmart should focus on high volume exclusives as they are going to be primarily bought by people who happen to be in Walmart, as opposed to Diamond Exclusives (for example), which are more likely to be bought by someone specifically looking for that item, in which case a higher margin is more appropriate. Raising the price on an item isn't going to encourage it to sell through faster, if anything it'll slow sales further (at a time when the economy is down, so sales would have likely been slower ceterus parabus).
