The website says June - and I hope it's right.  With 3 busts coming out at C-IV, and two busts scheduled for a May release, there's too much to buy as it is right now.

Looks like the Jawas will be set at 7000 pieces.   :o

Seems like a TON of Jawas, should be no problem finding them cheap I would guess.  Maybe they will drift down into my price range and I can pick them up to go along with my $12 Amazon Clearance Han Solo Mini-Bust.   ;)

I stumbled across this Clone Trooper Lieutenant on eBay: $587 US. :o  However, it is an artist proof, so I imagine that contributed to the price.

Not much really.  The price of that piece has been obscene for a long time.  IIRC this was the first of the Gentle Giant fiascos and set the tone for many later pieces.  Short of a lottery win I'll never own that or the red clone from AOTC either.

Some people will buy two sets to display all 3 poses, but 7,000 should definitely be way more than enough to go around.

I know I have been thinking about it.

This has me wondering if it might be worth it to split sets.  If you're buying 4 Jawas to display 3, you could always split the difference on the extra set with someone and then both parties would have all three displays.

I know from a box and COA standpoint it's kind of blasphemous... but I'm tempted.

I don't know how you guys keep your sanity collecting these things.  I think it's ridiculous what they're doing with the 'travel around the world' clone commander exclusives.

I have a tough enough time finding $7 McQuarrie figures let alone one of 1500 $50 busts...

It would appear that the C-IV Exclusives went up for Convention Pre-Order at noon...  though, of course, the site is EXTREMELY SLOW due to the HUGE traffic.   :P

I have also heard that most of the busts are gone already after only 15 minutes.   :o

Yeah, I'm sitting here trying to plug my order and it keeps not accepting the credit card, perhaps because the busts are gone?  I can't really see that this quick.

Oh, and no email either, I logged in off the blog page ::)

Untrue.  The order I placed for myself/Beth went through at 12:28 CST so a full 13 minutes after that time frame.  The order has a confirmation number as well, so they seem to still be available.

Still no email.

Good to hear, I was worried folks were going to miss out since the e-mail hasn't even been sent yet...

I finally got my ordered place after an hour trying. Got the three mini bust, missed Yoda/R2 and the bustups but could get them at the con.  GG needs to upgrade they system with the money they got off of those who joined the PGM.  GG needs to allow the PGM members first access to the Pre-orders next time I think since they are paying extra and regular CC are not.

Still haven't gotten an email from them about these going on sale.

I just got the email - but it's useless to me since I can't go.  Hopefully Dale was near a computer somewhere.
