Well, the inevitable happened last night. I walked into the toy section of Target and spotted two Skirmish sets in a go-back cart, picked one up, and what do ya know -- both SA Clones had been swapped for the #6 repaint version. The same went for the other set.

Lame. But totally expected.

Jesus, that #6 repaint wasn't that bad.

What kind of lame ****head buys two Battle Packs and returns them with damn near the same figure?!

Good catch though - I don't think I would've caught that until I got home and opened them.  Then I would've been pissed.

I don't like the #6 sculpt. perioed. I like the #41 sculpt and only the #41 sculpt. The only reason I tolerate the tac ops figure is because it has a sweet paint scheme.

I don't mind the #6 myself...  It kneels better, so for me the figure is somewhat a trade-off.  I like having some in the army for that purpose, not to mention they had rifles and #41's didn't...

With the battlepack troops and repaint #6's it's less an issue to me with the rifles though since most Shocks I noticed had carbines not rifles.  Still, some #6's for kneeling poses aren't a bad thing to me.

I only have 3 #6 Shocks, I could have gotten like 8 in one shot, but I too really dislike the #6 Clone Trooper mold. I was praying for the day they would make the Shocks with a #41 sculpt and I got my wish, but the fact you have to buy 2 repacks to get them blows. Now I pray for the day they single card them. Oh and while I'm at it I wish they would make the Tac Ops with the #41 sculpt. Do it Hasbro, Do it!

Yeah, that's another update that's sorely needed. I'd like those and Commander Appo.

I dunno. I like #6 except the fact that they can't accept pegs in thier feet.

The Jedi Temple Tact ops are nise because they are clean, and the regular ones are nice becuse you can get better action poses.

I was under the impression that the greatest hits version coming later this summer was a #41 based Tactical ops trooper- is that incorrect?

The pics I saw was of a regular white #41.
You are never alone when there's a clone.

Well, it wouldn't be a greatest hit if it was never released in the first place. But if they throw that at us, I'll be on the hunt!

Would be nice if Hasbro released the #41 in Shocktrooper deco and the Temple Raid deco. I cant even imagine how many would sell.

Are these sets supposed to have the "4/30" street date as well?  I was thinking about heading out to the Targets in town early on Sunday to look for the VTSC, but have since found them at WM (and cheaper).  I was still thinking about going out on Sunday if these were supposed to "street" then as well.
