Just incase anyone cares, the final tally for ROTS was $380,209,351.00.

Therefore, we will not reveal any of the 2006 Saga offerings past The Battle of Carkoon wave until the time is right.  Or until you give me a dollar.  Whichever comes first.

Do you take PayPal?

Revenge of the Sith / Re: What about this Clone?
« on: October 15, 2005, 05:27 PM »
With tons of respect, I would never acknowlege that such a character could exist, or would be sucessful even taking a shot at a jedi. This stems from my issue with the Jedi being talken out like the Iraqi army. A jedi SHOULD be able to pick up on such focused brain waves and not be fooled by such a disguise. :P

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Wal-Mart DVD 'Island'

Every Walmart in the area of NC where I'm staying has put these up, but none really have a lot of basic figure stock and have not stocked since I've been here.

Has anyone seen this line hitting Walmart yet? I am thinking that this coming week should be about right since we are moving towards the DVD release now. I sure hope so because Walmart tends to carry more cases then Target, and its easier to get new stuff at Walmart then Target.

I was wondering and thinking the same thing.

Can you just give us to basic figure product list for 2006? I mean, why keep us in suspense?

I really liked last nights episode as well. Hurly is a great character and I think everyone who has a soul can relate to his issue, regardless if they won 156 million dollars.

You know, after getting a good look at these figures, I have to say that they're not bad. I like the weathered look, but it's still not enough to get me to open a set.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Best/Favorites of the ROTS Line
« on: October 13, 2005, 10:06 PM »
I'm keeping my list short because, well, that's just the way I am. But...

Over all, I thought this line was well done and there was lots to cheer about. Here are my absolute favorates:

The Evolutions line - excellent. What more can anyone say?

#55 Obi wan Starfighter pilot. - Great surprise to find a supurb figure.

#33 clone commander/ Bly. - Nicely done clones and just plain fun to play with.

AT-RT - come on, it walks!

ARC-170 - nice big, well designed toy.

This give you an idea Anton? My store where I got mine received 200. After I bought mine the clerk said "OOHHH the number left available will now be 189"!!(almost mocking me for asking him for one ::))

Again, making little sense of exclusive production. Lots of Starfighters that few want, and few clones that lots want. ???

Finally picked up a second white Grevious body guard and a orange sepratist on a decent card. Hopefully, I'm done with the collection 1 stuff now.

Also, now I may just be nit picking here, but wan't Han's shirt untucked throughout the whole Skiff scene?

Yeah, you're right. :P I guess he's pre-fight Han. Or maybe he'll come with a soft goods shirt accessory. ;D

Revenge of the Sith / Re: ROTS - #57 and beyond
« on: October 11, 2005, 08:46 PM »
Anyone think these will be a shorter run than the previous waves? Or, do you think these will be pushed for the holidays?

My guess is shorter run.  It seems that every line just peters out instead of ending with a bang.  I'd like to be wrong, but that's my neurosis speaking (justified or not).

That's the way I feel, but I was thinking today, what are they going to push for the DVD release? Just use what they got, or try push out new stuff.

On a side note, I hit a random WM in Virginia today, all they had were a hand full of figures and lots of room for more. You know, a few Neumodians, a Tarful, Mon Mothma, usual peg warmers. I asked if that's all they had and the guy, trying to sound cool and intellegent said, "yeah, we're trying to get rid of those before we get more in." I really had to chose my words carfully when explaing why that was a bad idea and why they were going to loose a lot of mony doing that.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Gree and Bly - a nice surprise
« on: October 11, 2005, 08:27 PM »
Bly is pretty darn near perfect. Great figure. However, I do have to aggee with some of the gripes about Gree. Don't get me wrong, he's a clone and clones are good, however, I'm using the official Gree as troop fodder and will either commission a custom movie accurate Gree to command them, or hope that Hasbro will revisit this one in a few years.

Today I bought another set of Lava Figs and the Plo Koon Fighter. The Target in NC I purchased them from had an end cap all decked out with all 4 exclusives, and pleanty of them.
